Ein traumhafter Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Anlange mit super freundlichen Mitarbeiten, wir habe uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war hervoragend und abwechslungsreich. Wir hatten einen Delux Bungalow mit Wirlpool der am schönsten Strandabschnitt der Insel lag.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett, es gab so viele tolle Dinge die man unternehmen kann wie einen Angelausflug oder schnorcheln gehen. Das Essen war fantastisch und die Zimmer sehr gut eingerichtet. Man hatte sehr viel Platz im Zimmer.

Von A bis Z eine perfekte Reise mit einer sensationellen Insel. Sehr liebe Menschen, sehr sauber, umweltfreundlich. Wir waren schon das 3x dort. Der Transfer von Male mit der 'neuen' Inlandfluggesellschaft Villas Air (Maldives Air) dauerte eher lang und ist sehr aufwändig. Wasserflugzeug gibt es für diese Insel leider nicht mehr, wäre jedoch ein spannendes und schönes Abenteuer für Reisende. Fazit: 'ebookers' machte einen sensationellen Job beim spontanen Umbuchen des Hinfluges (Lufthansa ändert 2 Tage vor den Ferien die Flugdaten). Ferienort 'Sun Island` ist eine Trauminsel, wo wir wie als Könige behandelt wurden. (kostenloses Upgrade mit 2 Pool-Bungalows) Wir geben 5 Sterne für eine perfekte Reise im Paradies. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Alle meine erwartungen wurden erfüllt und sogar übertroffen :) es war eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem kleinen paradies. Die Angestellten haben alle einen spitzen Job gemacht und es war super organisiert .. von Anfang bis Ende. Diese Insel ist im Vergleich zu anderen echt riesig und man hat keine Industrie Inseln als "nachbarn" die einen die Aussicht versauen wie es z.b in Flughafen oder Hauptstadt nähe der Fall wäre .. es gibt sehr viel Aktivitäten und Plätze zum aufhalten, neben sämtlichen Wassersportlichen aktivitäten wie Kanu fahren, schnorcheln, windsurfen, surfen, kitesurfen, jetski, catamaran, segeln etc. abendlich Strandbar/partys show programm, Kinoleinwand. Badminton Tennis Volleyball Golf .. ich denke selbst in 2 vollen Wochen hat man noch nicht alles gemacht ^^ in ca 10h fussmarsch kan man innen und aussen die ganze Insel erkunden und es gibt auch viele Tiere zu sehen. Für Kinder gibt es Spielplätze. Es ist wie ein kleiner Themenpark aufgebaut und an jeder Ecke gibt es etwas zu entdecken. Den Spa Bereich fand ich ehrlich gesagt ein bisschen übertrieben teuer und man hat auch gesehen das nicht grade viele Gäste dieses Angebot genutzt haben .. oft ist es so das man sowas am Ende noch anhängt wenn noch Geld Budget übrig sein sollte aber die chance sich einen Sonnenbrand zu holen ist natürlich sehr hoch :) und mit Sonnenbrand würde ich nie eine Massage oder Körperbehandlung machen lassen. Es gibt sehr tolle touren und Ausflüge die man planen .. oh keine Zeichen mehr

Have enjoyed my four nights at Sun Island Resort, but the room (standard bungalow) was much to expensive for the provided quality. It really needs some maintenance and refreshing, also it was not clean enough. The food was not very good, and too expensive. Friendly staff.

Relaxing für drei Tage ...
Tolles Hotel um die Füße hochzulegen und es sich gut gehen zu lassen. Wir hatten Halbpension was völlig ausreicht. Bei AI bekommt man leider nicht alles. Ansonsten ist die Insel Recht gut. Nicht zu groß ...nicht zu klein. Allerdings ist es alles schon sehr Honeymooner Stil dort. Auch wann man nicht als Pärchen dort sich aufhält.

The room needed to be updated but was very clean and efficient. The island is terrific with more great beaches than most islands. The Manta Rays swimming around the Italian restaurant was fantastic. We were pleased with the food and drinks on the All-inclusive Plan. The resort lived up to all our expectations and more. The snorkelling here was not up to our previous Maldives resorts but the beaches were better. The staff was also terrific, every single one.

soggiorno nel complesso molto piacevole ottima pulizia della camere e in generale del resort, personale gentile ,presente e discreto,.molto piacevoli spaziose e complete le camere rinnovate di recente. Isola molto grande con tantissime attività e ricchissima di vegetazione con ampi spazi verdi meravigliosi..laguna molto estesa. cose da migliorare consiglierei, vista la presenza molto numerosa di famiglie con bambini piccoli, di suddividere le camere in zone dedicate agli ospiti con bambini e altre per gli ospiti senza bambini in modo che chi è senza bambini possa godere diella desiderata tranquillità durante la vacanza. Stesso consiglio darei per i tavoli del ristorante principale assegnando tavoli fissi per tutta la vacanza creando una zona per famiglie con bambini e una per le coppie o faglie con figli gia grandi. Consiglierei inoltre un servizio continuativo di pulizia del bordo mare dai rifiuti portati dalle maree sulla spiaggia. Il cibo al ristorante principale è molto vario e sono ottimi i dolci ma consiglierei di migliorare e rendere piu varia la scelta di cucina europea. notevole invece l attenzione per i piatti vegetariani e senza uova che sono chiaramente indicati su ogni cartellino dei vari cibi.

Villa park - sun island was a lovely resort! The staff really made it perfect. Mannan the buggy driver was excellent. Showed us around the whole island, recommended things to see and do! Went above and beyond. My husband developed a headache and Mannan went out of his way to bring us paracetamol to our room, perfect service! Rakesh the chef in the southern star restaurant was lovely. Always happy to help and make something fresh, breakfast lunch and dinner - perfect food, conversation and service every time! All the staff we encountered were happy and friendly. Only thing I would mention - is the island has a lot to offer! If you don’t hear from your host - make sure you request the daily itinerary.

För det första, så träffade vi själva ägaren Qasim som byggde ön . En fantastiskt , jordnära människa som sedan avspeglas på själva personalen som anstränger sig ytterst mycket, att vi turister ska ha allt vi behöver! Great gateaway!
Villa Park Sun Island was a refreshing experience. My husband and I had a lovely honeymoon with various experiences offered. There were water activities, spa services, and activities such as badminton, paddle ball, table tennis, billiards, etc. We were full board so breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included at certain times. Employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. Some suggestions I would recommend are adding bells to the bikes they offer to rent. It becomes difficult to navigate on the path when people, carts, and other bikes are all sharing the road. I would also suggest illuminating the signs with the room numbers. At night, the island is peaceful and lite with dim lights, however, it becomes hard to find the rooms without a flashlight. Another suggestion would be telling your room number at the dining hall so no confusions happen. The day of checkout my husband and I did not know lunch wasn't included. Although the staff was very friendly to remove any charge, we should have been informed at check in that it would not be included. We were only told a checkout time and what time to be at the jetty to leave via boat. Also, the food became a little repetitive after the first few days. Overall, great trip! 4/5

A fantastic intro to the Maldives. The resort took care of everything for our transfers which would have been daunting overwise but they met you at the arrivals area and made sure it was smooth on to the smaller plane - minibus - boat and on return as well. The staff were very attentive and professional, always checking if we were ok but not in a pressured way. The rooms were cleaned to a great standard and any requests for the minibar were dealt with swiftly. Staff remembered our drinks orders for breakfast and dinner which was a nice touch. The snorkelling around the Island was amazing, we saw a turtle, manta rays, many sharks, stingrays and 1000's of fish. The land wildlife was interesting as well, we saw fruit bats and a Indian Flying Fox! The facilities (watersports, gym, sports) were staffed well and great condition. There was always something going on in the evening (may have been due to the Xmas period) from karaoke, live band, violinist, saxophone, singers and an epic Xmas Eve party with proper outdoor festival staging, lighting and music rig. The food was fantastic, so many options and they were happy to make something if you wanted something different. The chef was going to make a special curry for us but due to other restaurant bookings we missed out. We had a meal at the Italian restaurant overlooking the water were the Manta Rays were, the food was exceptional. We also tried the Tepenyaki place on the beach, again, great food and service.

The resort is amazing. We loved our 10 days there. There is only one Main thing that Must be specified when people book. Travellers who book "Water Villa" have access to a much better restaurant. The problem is that the restaurant where all the others have access have a bad quality. We asked for an upgrade to this restaurant after trying it for the first time and we were allowed free upgrade. The thing is our room was more expensive than water Villa so it didn't make much sense that we didn't have access to this restaurant. Nothing else to add, the rest is amazing, wildness is great, staff is great. Amazing experience.

The activities were amazing, water sports, tours e.g. whale shark and snorkelling and diving centre. The sports - squash, tennis, badmington etc, jacuzzi and cold water pool and the spa..........the facitilies are world class and our room was spectaucluar - our own pool and beach access - thank you. The buffet was great with a good choice and we enjoyed a sunset drink each evening on the beach or the pier.

We only stayed five nights but it was an incredible experience, Sun Island is a paradise on earth. The island is beautiful, taken care of in the smallest detail, clean, rich in nature. I mention among the excellent staff Tomy of the Italian restaurant very kind, the great experience of Raffan of the excursion department helped us to organize a trip to the sand bank of Digurah and we saw the whale shark twice in the first excursion; the Indian chef of the Chinese cuisine restaurant very good at cooking; and Vira of the evening animation very good at involving people and organizing the evenings very funny. Wonderful experience to repeat in a lifetime, we will definitely be back.

Friendly, beautiful, and worth every penny.
The resort was beautiful and big. The view of the ocean and the walking paths were very pleasant. The staff were extremely professional, accommodating, and friendly from check-in to check-out. We got the meal plan included which the buffet was fanastic. You could get a lot of items cooked to order. Highly recommend going to southern star restaurant...where the hosts, cooks, and waitstaff are phenomenal! They clean the room twice a day so cleanliness was exceptional. Everyone working in the boating department were great especially our captian, Bruno! The outdoor spa is gorgeous! The shark and manta feeding done daily is a great experience. Highly recommend this resort!

The staff is very friendly and simply amazing! Our first waiter name Tara at the Main restaurant was great! He always greeted us and made sure our dining experience was great. The restaurant for the water bungalows provided a phenomenal service. From the time you enter and until you leave they made sure everything was great! This is a great resort to stay. I highly recommend the water bungalow.
