Team and staff was great!
We only stayed one night in the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel as we had a very early morning flight scheduled. However, the team was absolutely amazing and made the stay very comfortable. Especially, the deputy manager Mr Richard James was the most kind and helpful staff I ever experienced. The hotel is clean, modern and well organised.

Nice rainforest shower, swimming pool, airport htl
Nice showers, spacious rooms, free shuttle to airport with very helpful staff members. Great after safari and if you have an early flight to catch. Didn't use swimming pool but looked amazing. Restaurant served yummy food, cheesecake and fudge cake were delicious.

Very nice hotel and close to the airport (without the typical airport noise). Otherwise there was not time to check out the location, but there is a large motorway just in front of the hotel (which you can only hear when you are at the rooftop pool).

Good value for a reason. price | room for improvem
This was my second stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Nairobi. The first time I was really impressed for the value I got for a reasonable price. This did not change this time. I still believe this is one of the better Hotels in Nairobi. The Hotel is pretty new, the staff is polite and supportive in general. The rooms are really nice and clean and I had everything I needed. The food (breakfast or dinner) was really nice. Beside my positive feedback my impression got a little scratch this time, which I think the Hotel will fix. - Close to midnight the fire-alarm started for a few minutes and really kicked me out of bed - This time I had a room on the first floor. I heard noises all night which I didn’t hear when I stayed on the third floor before. - Even I used earplugs (for the reason mentioned before) I was kicked out of bed in the early morning as some constructions worker started hammering. This did not end till lunch time. - This time I had the feeling the hotel staff was overwhelmed by the many visitors. - Maybe a minor topic. In my currently stay I paid a higher price for a better room. Surprisingly the room (size and equipment) was like the other one I had before, beside that the room this time was not facing Mombasa road. Therefor the rain-shower was missing… - When I checked out the receptionist noted down my credit card number, even I paid all my extras before and the hotel-booking was paid via Expedia. As I asked him why he is recording my credit card number he go

The second stay was still good but not as before
The hotel offers really a good value for a reasonable price. This time I booked a better category of the room but suddenly the rain shower was missing and the room size was the same as before. Ok - this time not facing the big road. Furthermore the firealarm started at midnight (looked like for no reason) after falling asleep followed by noisy construction work in the morning which kicked me out of bed. The staffer looked overwhelmed by the huge amount of guests during dinner time. I still like the hotel but with the high expectations from my last stay I got a little disappointed this time.

Sehr guter Komfort in nagelneuem Hotel
Ursprünglich hatte ich eine Übernachtung bei "Four Points" Sheraton gebucht (nicht erstattbar), mußte aber meine Anreise 1 Tag verschieben. Da man von "Four Points" dafür einen 2. Tag in Rechnung stellen wollte, habe ich mich für den "Hilton Garden Inn" entschieden. Eine Entscheidung, die ich auf keinen Fall bereut habe. Der Hilton Garden ist, ist brandneu und hochwertig ausgestattet. Sowohl die Speisen im Restaurant sowie das Frühstück sind vorzüglich. Die Mitarbeiter sind außerordentlich freundlich und es war auch kein Problem, ein späten Checkout zu bekommen, da mein Flug erst abends abflog. Der Duty Manager Charles war sehr entgegenkommend. Das WLAN entspricht dem Standard in Kenia, und fällt des Öfteren aus.

My Go-To Airport Hotel in NBO
Hands down one of the best hotels to stay in in Nairobi, and definitely, in my opinion, the best airport hotel in Nairobi. From the Shuttle bus convenience, the driver, the welcome staff at the airport, the staff at the front desk, the room and the friendliness of everybody, this hotel makes you really feel welcome and appreciated. This is my Go-TO hotel, and pretty much the only one I can recommend around the airport.

Good airport transfers
The hotel excels at airport transfers. We stayed a night twice, gave flight arrival details as part of booking and were promptly met by the transfer van. The return transfer could be arranged for exactly the time we needed, too. AC can be hit and miss (it does off at night when power is interrupted, which happens occasionally) and Nairobi is not a relaxing place.

Check the pool is open before booking. I booked this property based on the images of the pool (rather than somewhere cheaper) but when I arrived I was told the pool was closed for refurbishment. Staff lovely and hotel is fine but even after I had informed Expedia of pool closure they are still advertising it with a big image of the pool.
