The cottage was extremely close to Acadia National Park, allowing us access to multiple trail heads on the quiet side of MDI. Overall, a great stay.“

Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience.“

„This property gives you the experience of camping but with all the amenities of home. The yurt we stayed in had everything we needed including upgraded WiFi as cell reception throughout Acadia is spotty. The location is perfect for a quiet get away, yet just minutes away from park trails, a coffee shop, grocery store and local restaurants. Lastly the owners are extremely friendly and welcome sharing their knowledge of the area. We will definitely be back!“
