„We had a wonderful time at Elk Horn Retreat. We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The cabin is beautifully decorated, well furnished, and extremely comfortable. The location is very private and an easy drive to town. Highly recommend this cabin for a stay in Idyllwild.“

„My daughters I booked a last-minute trip for Mother’s Day weekend. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean and cozy and very close to the center of town. It was perfectly decorated and definitely felt like a retreat away from home. I would highly recommend it and I look forward to staying here again.“

„Lovely area, Mountain View’s and tall trees… cozy comfortable cottage- homey! Great restaurant- Ferros with wonderful jazz! Tuesday nights! Many restaurants closed early March- trips to desert an hour or so away- beautiful drive down the mountain! Peaceful, serene and friendly people! All in all we enjoyed it and will return- Wi-Fi good as I worked a few days. Kathy and Gary“

„Very clean well kept property. Furniture shown in listing for family area is different from what is actually there. And what was there wasn’t as comfortable as what was in the pictures. Everything you would need was provided. Bedding was lovely. Bathroom was downstairs to both bedrooms and stairs were very steep.“

„The cabin is great for a couple and a pet. The cabin is filled with mountain decor and has both a wood-burning stove and an air conditioning unit to make you comfortable any time of the year. It is close to town and not far Idyllwild Regional Park and a small dog park to allow your dog to get out even more.“

„The cabin was lovely and had everything you could need. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. I was surprised that Lake Arrowhead is so crowded with houses. They are on small lots and seemed on top of each other. So it wasn’t the wilderness experience I was expecting. Also not very tourist friendly as only homeowners are allowed to use the lake.“

„Our second time here. All that matters about this place is the 180 degree ocean view. Just spectacular. Of course we also love the ease of checking in, the well stocked kitchen, and San Clemente in general. Seems to us that SC is a little less touristy than beach towns north and south. Great restaurants, great vibe. We even went to the old mission at San Juan Capistrano! We will definitely rent here again.“
