Wir haben fast eine Woche im Manava Beach Resort in einem Overwaterbungalow verbracht. Es ist ein schönes Hotel, hat aber wie alles in Polynesien seinen Preis. Das Zimmer war sauber, wir konnten direkt von der Terrasse ins Meer springen. Es gibt im Wohnbereich einen Glastisch wo man durch ein Fenster Fische beobachten kann die unter dem Bungalow schwimmen. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl, jedoch ist es mit 42 EUR pro Person sehr teuer. Hier findet man nach 5-10 min Fußweg nette Cafes. Im Hotel gibt es einen wunderbaren SPA Bereich mit tollen Anwendungen und Massagen. Wir haben uns für 90 Minuten die Rumiavai Massage gegönnt. Dies ist ein absolutes Highlight und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Massage findet in einem kleinen Pool im Spa statt. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das einzige was uns nicht gefallen hat, ist dass der Pool sowie der Spa Pool sehr stark gechlort sind. Unsere neue Badebekleidung war nach der Woche grün und musste entsorgt werden, sowie auch unsere Haare hatten einen grünlichen Farbstich. Nach Auskunft in Aukland muss dies an der Chlorkonzentration gelegen haben.

Ia Orana, Nous désolés mais nous ne parlons pas l'Allemand! Merci beaucoup pour votre séjour. Effectivement tous nos bungalows sont équipés d'une table en verre qui vous permet de voir les poissons qui nagent sous votre bungalow. Et aussi notre Hôtel est situé juste à 5 min d'un centre commercial. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez pu profitez du Spa avec notre massage signature "Rumiavai" qui se fait dans une piscine chauffé. Compte au chlore, nous nous rapprocherons de notre piscine pour la vérification du PH. En espérant vous accueillir de nouveau pour un prochain séjour Mauruuru

Kein 4,5 Sterne Hotel!!
o die ganze Insel ist eigentlich ein Flop. Strände sind nicht vorhanden und sonst bietet sie aich nichts. Toll wsr die ATV Tour. Nun zum Hotel: Die Zimmer sind eher basic eingerichtet und auch das Bad lässt Wünsche offen. Ablage für Koffer gab es nicht. Beim Frühstück war zwar alles vorhanden aber lieblos angerichtet. Das Pool und Jacuzzi absolut renovierungsbedürftig. Am Pool ist es extrem laut da jeder meint er muss seine eigenen Musik laut spielen. Blick aufs Meer fast nicht vorhanden da dieser von den Overseas Bungalows verdeckt ist. Strand praktisch nicht vorhanden. Für den Preis ist das Hotel ziemlich abgetakelt und bietet nicht sehr viel. Ich würde es nicht empfehlen da das Preis Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht stimmt und die Insel im Grossen und Ganzen nichts zu bieten hat.

Landestypische Hotelanlage, direkt am Strand
Die Anlage ist okay. An vielen Stellen kann man bei näherem Hinsehen allerdings den Renovierungsaufwand erkennen. Dass zu unserem Zeitpunkt des Aufenthalts das Dach des Restaurants repariert wurde, der Rasen lautstark gemäht wurde und an einigen Stellen die Handwerker unterwegs waren, war zwar wohl notwendig, macht den Aufenthalt in der Anlage aber nicht unbedingt attraktiver. Das Personal kommt nicht an den Standard heran, wie in anderen Hotelanlagen (z.B. auf Bora Bora oder Tahiti). Gleiches gilt für die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Dennoch ist die Anlage im Großen und Ganzen okay.

Hotel ganz nett ,aber Lage eher nicht so toll
Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber noch ganz gut in Schuß. Der Strandabschnitt ist der Grund, warum ich nicht nochmal in das Hotel gehen würde, ist eher klein und keine schöne Aussicht. Außerdem waren die Familienzimmer zwar recht geräumig, aber auch sehr dunkel und der Abfluss roch.

Super Overwatervilla
Wir haben uns im Vorfeld für dieses Polynesische Hotel entschieden, da wir wenig Lust auf Hilton, Intercontinental oder Sofitel hatten, aber wir wollten unbedingt eine Overwatervilla. Da gibt es leider auf Moorea wenig alternativen. Wie auf allen polynesischen Insel sind die Korallen zwar alle tot, aber es gibt immer noch viele Fische zu beobachten. Jeden Morgen und Abend kommt eine uralte Meersschildkröte vorbeigeschwommen und am Vormittag kommen regelmäßig Delfinschärme und Rochengemeinschaften vorbei. Das Hotel selber ist gut geführt. Frühstück erfüllt die internationalen Standards.

Entspannung trotz leichtem Renovierungsbedarfs
Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist wohl schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer noch sehr gepflegt und mit Charme. Der Service lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, aber letztlich bekommt man eigentlich immer, was man möchte. Die Lage ist für Moorea sehr gut. Mehrere Restaurants und Geschäfte befinden sich in Gehdistanz. In der Lagune direkt vor dem Hotel konnten wir Octopusse und Moränen beobachten.

Erholsame Ferienaufenthalt
Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sensationel. Eine wunderschöne, aber überschaubare Hotelanlage mit fantastischem Personal. Samtliche Anliegen wurden schnell erledigt. Direkt im Hotel ist ein Aktivitätendesk, ein kleines Dorf mit Shops, Restaurant in 5 Min. zu Fuss erreichbar.

lovely staff but overpriced
staff is lovely, but some services are just not what I expect for that price: - a hinge of the cupboard where the minibar is in broke the first day and you couldn´t close the cupboard anzmore firmly. I´d expect to have that fixed without giving them extra notice as during room cleaning they must have realized it as they replaced the used glasses with clean ones. - the towels for our privat pool have been collected but not replace until we asked two days later - if you wanted to to have pool towels or snorkeling equipement you better planed to wait for somebody for 5 to 15 minutes as the desk was often unattended - no transfer from airport of ferry included. as everybody must arrive either by ferry or plane I´actually would expect to have that included. it´s just like 20 bucks and it would ruine them but make a great first impression and differenciate them from other hotels. over all, the down sides are all minor ones but it kinda ads up, especially if you pay quite an amount for your stay

We loved the hotel itself, the view, the pool, and our room was lovely (nicer that the photos suggested). It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and overall I would recommend it, although I think it is a bit expensive (but I guess that's French Polynesia in general). We did, however, have a couple of gripes; mainly the friendliness of the staff. There were a handful of lovely, smiley, professional staff members but in general they were neither welcoming nor polite. They made us feel like our being there was an inconvenience to them or that they were having a bad day (everyday!). The concierge stood out as one of the least helpful, which is odd when they are being employed to sell you things and enthuse you. The Miti bar has some reasonable cocktails but the food is very average and overpriced - 5000XPF for a rubbish caesar salad and some seared tuna. We went to the Tereva evening (dinner and a cultural show) which was 8500XPF each and it turns out we could have watched the show from the bar area for free, and probably with a better view. I would not recommend paying for this unless you particularly enjoy mediocre buffet food. The other annoyance I had was that the view of the sunset is blocked by the over-water villas, so you can't enjoy it from the poolside. There is one grill restaurant opposite the hotel which was very good but otherwise you really need a car if you don't want to eat at the resort every night as the roads have pavements or street lighting.

Our stay was amazing - the property is beautiful, staff is extremely friendly and helpful although sometimes their English is a bit challenging but manageable at the end. Everything was great, the only thing that can improve is probably the restaurant menu / there may need to be different dining options added, as the menu remains the same and after a few days it just gets boring when you have tried all the different options.

The snorkeling was great. But hotel areas and room was average. Our first night there thy did not explain that we had two options for dinner. They told us there was only the buffet option which cost me 150.00 for two people and the food was not good. The only area that was air conditioned was our room. It was very hot and humid during our stay would have been nice to be able to go somewhere air conditioned besides our room. They offered breakfast at the hotel but you had to sign up for your whole stay or you couldn't eat there and it was expensive. I felt that options at the horel were rigid and the staff did not explain everything and were not flexible at all.

We had an over the water bungalow that was nice. Took a while to get the AC adjustments right, but it worked well. (We were at another over the water bungalow on another island, and the AC was underpowered.) This resort was within walking distance from a shopping district , grocery store, and even a laundromat. Other resorts were much further from shopping options, so we lucked out selecting this one.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the entire resort, the bungalows, restaurant, pool are all immaculate and clean! The swimming pool is beautiful, with an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Dolphins visited every morning while we sat on the balcony of our premium over water bungalow looking over the ocean. The entire staff, all of the employees at the Manava Beach Resort truly went out of their way to make our stay extra special, they were professional and kind! We stayed here 34 years ago when it was the Bali Hi and we are so happy we returned! We would highly recommend this resort and would not stay anywhere else on Moorea! Snorkeling package with pickup next to resort. Swim with eagle rays, blacktip sharks and many tropical fish. We even saw a green turtle. Highlight was a barbeque lunch prepared on the boat and served on a table just off the beach. Lots of fish swimming around our legs while we enjoyed grilled fish, chicken and poke. The best!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was exceptional! The staff really made our stay feel super special. They were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond for our visit. We stayed in an overwater bungalow and were able to see sea turtles, sting rays, and so many fish right from our room. We could also rent kayaks for free and explore the lagoon. The hotel’s location is also convenient. It’s close to Cook’s Bay and the beautiful Tema’e Beach. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to come to Moorea.

Loved this property and it met all my expectations. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a tour of the property. Our bungalow was amazing and loved watching the gold fish swim by in our floor window!!!

relatively small property. We stayed on-water bunglow, and it was good. We had got corner bunglow which was a bit noisy since locals were using that area for their water activities. Other than that, it was decent experience.
