Ein Hotel in guter Umgebung in "walking distance" zum Dorf. Besitzt sogar einen eigenen Schmetterlingsgarten. Leider keine Aircondition im Zimmer. Macht es etwas stickig und warm. Pool sehr klein und etwas wenig Liegestühle. Hübsche Gartenanlage. Grosser Parkplatz

Lodge mit Karten und Hängematten im Nebelwald
Das tolle Lodge Erlebnis beginnt schon gleich am Empfang. Man wird freundliche begrüßt und sieht in den Schmetterlingsraum. Die Zimmer sind prima und das größte ist der Park mit Hängematten und einem romantischen Pool und das alles im Nebelwald.

wunderschöne Gartenanlage. Sehr freundliches Personal. Für 4-köpfige Familie mit Unterbringung in einem Zimmer sinde die beiden Queen-Betten etwas zu schmal.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht!
Zimmer war nett, allerdings kleiner wie in der Beschreibung und sehr hellhörig. Ohrenstöpsel waren notwendig. Moskitonetze an den Fenstern sind nicht dicht, so dass wir im Zimmer viele Insekten hatten. Frühstück war entgegen der Beschreibung nicht reichhaltig. Extras beim Frühstück waren sehr teuer. Sehr kleiner Pool für die Größe der Anlage. Hotelfotos sind geschönt. Die Anlage wirkt etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Great Hotel in Monteverde
Great Hotel close to Monteverde in Santa Elena. The Hotel has a very nice garden and is close to a private Ecoreserve that has really nice trails! Staff is very friendly!

Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Garten, durch diesen führt ein kurzer Rundweg. Man ist schnell in die Stad gelaufen. Das Personal ist sehr nett, leider gibt es nicht sehr lange Frühstück, glaube nur bis 9 Uhr ?? Die Standartzimmer sind für 4 Personen etwas eng.

Sehr komfortable Zimmer in Fußnähe zu Santa Elena Ortsmitte und dennoch vom hauseigenen Dschungel und Tropengarten, inklusiver kleiner Rundwege, umgeben. Damit idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Ausflüge in die Region. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schönes Panoramafenster in den Garten/Wald. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant und leckeres Frühstück.

The hotel and grounds were kept in immaculate condition. We were greeted by the front desk staff eagerly and they offered a lot of help as we checked in and later booked some excursions in the area. All of the staff that we interacted with were friendly, polite and helpful. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The room we stayed in was an older room located on the ground floor below the restaurant area. The room was comfortable and had a nice private outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens. The room felt like it could use a modern refresh, but it was functional. The hotel also had a fantastic orchid room that had fresh air and calming natural light. This room felt underused despite it being set up for dining or drinks. The restaurant on site has a wood burning fireplace for ambiance in the evening, and has a lovely large open air seating area to enjoy happy hour drinks while watching the sunset, or enjoying breakfast.

The setting is beautiful and the restaurant is amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had two fantastic tours with Donald, who was a limitless source of knowledge and enthusiasm. His tours were a major highlight because he was so excited to share the local wildlife with us. All in all a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Nice hotel, lovely grounds and very friendly, efficient staff. Tea/coffee making facilities would be an improvement; we would have enjoyed a coffee on our balcony early morning but no facilities to make one. No room/hotel info, no iron. Town is very close by so convenient location.

Lush greenery everywhere. Had a stream running next to our room! Complete privacy and great ambience. Very well maintained property. Had two trails in this property. And they allow guests to do trails (one is quite a challenge) on sister property. Excellent view from deck of other property. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was included and was good. Rooms very clean. And good decorations. The only issue we had was they have their some of the closet space inside the bathroom (which is quite big). But it's a hassle to use it. Other than that no issues.

We LOVED this lodging. It is simple and beautiful. The staff could not have been more responsive or helpful. The breakfast included was excellent. It’s very close to lots of adventure/activities. And while it has a feeling of total seclusion, it is just a 5 minute walk to town where there are several great restaurants where we had some delicious meals with local fare. Highly recommend this property!

We had to change rooms due to a strong fragrance. The next room was much better but when we turned on the bathroom fan it smelled again - poor ventalation caused both of us headaches so we did not spend much time at the property for the three nights we booked. We wanted to dine there but it's close to $20 CDN for just a cocktail. No wonder the dining area was empty. It rains every night and the hotel does not offer TV so it was boring come the evening. On a positive note the breakfast was very enjoyable and Rebecca was most helpful to ensure our laundry was taken care.

Very nice breaffast Check out the trails on the hotel property. Excellent bird opportunities including toucan and quetzal. The rooms are very comfortable but if you want a quality view from your veranda you will need to opt for the more expensive rooms.

This hotel is beautiful and the breakfast is great! The beds were comfy too.. we liked that they had a drinking water dispenser where we can fill up our water bottles. So no need to buy water bottles. Staff was very attentive. The hotel is close to town. Less that a 5 min drive where there a multiple eating options. Very convenient I do wish that the rooms had a tv. I like to watch tv to unwind after a busy day.
