Klimatisierung speziell die Heizung funktionierte nicht wirklich. Personal war sehr freundlich. Bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie waren wir enttäuscht dass es nicht die üblichen Hotelpantoffeln gab. Speziell durch den Teppichboden im ganzen Zimmer der auch nicht mehr so neu wirkte waren Hausschuhe hier erforderlich.

Hotel is very tired, our bathroom sink was cracked paint in the hotel was chipped. I understand that it’s a heritage listed hotel however rooms were very noisy and cold. We could hear everything on the third floor. Had only three hours sleep due to the noise. The breakfast which we paid for was very average. Had to wait 15 minutes before we were seated and then it took more than half an hour to get our food which was semi cold.

The hotel is beautiful but it needs to be polished! There was chippy paint on the doors and on the baseboards. The shower sprayed all over the bathroom and left standing water on the floor. The carpet was old and warn and the armchair’s arms were dingy and dirty. The staff was extremely friendly, though, and the breakfast we prepaid for was really awesome!

Love this property, so close to shopping, dining & MCG. Only issue we had was the $50 per night charge on our credit card, not a pending transaction, an actual charge that was refunded at checkout. This is unnecessary and a little annoying.

Friendly and helpful stuff, beautiful building inside and outside. Great location, close to train and tram. Room is a bit old but clean. Poor sound insulation, can hear the hall and upstairs noise occasionally.

Even though the hotel has obviously seen better days, we liked everything about it except the shower! The shower in our room, unfortunately did not want to run at a comfortable temperature and was either too hot or too cold. Otherwise, we really liked the while ambience.

I love this hotel and this is not my first visit. I’ve stayed and even held events here. The Windsor hotel exudes atmosphere and you can feel the history but sadly it is clearly hard to maintain and sadly it is not as well kept as it used to be. Its location was perfect for my stay. The staff in the dining room were very helpful. I would stay again.

The property was older but elegant and well kept. They let me have early check in after a long international flight so I could sleep. I’m grateful they were happy to hold my luggage and get my room ready. Also, there’s a little breakfast/coffee shop just a block away. It was convenient to walk to the downtown area and a nice longer walk to the beautiful botanic gardens.

This is a wonderful classic old hotel. The breakfast was incredible. The staff were all terrific. But the randomly non-working lift was a huge problem. One out of the 2 lifts was broken our entire 4 night stay. The other lift often was not working. It cast a pall over what should have been a 5 star stay

The hotel and service has a tired feeling. Concierge forgot to take our bags to our room and we had to then ask twice before receiving them. The shower was unuseable and when we informed the reception, the staff were at a loss on what to do or how to manage the situation.
