The Customer is Always Wrong…Apparently
I booked a room and showed up but nobody was there to let me in. I received an email telling me I’d receive a text with further instructions. I received it at 9:30pm on the night I was supposed to be staying. I had already organised alternative accommodation and when I contacted the owner asking for a refund he blamed me for not contacting him and organising to be let in. Thus far he has refused to give me a refund despite me not actually being able to use the accommodation I paid for. I would not waste your time.

However, we were not informed about your expected arrival time during the call, and unfortunately, I was unable to acknowledge your same-day booking as I was driving at the time.Our records show that an automated email containing all the necessary check-in information was sent to the email address provided in your booking. We anticipate our guests to follow these guidelines for check-in and encourage them to reach out if they have any questions or require assistance. In this case, we noticed that you did not contact us for assistance upon your arrival at the property, and you subsequently departed without notifying us.According to our cancellation policy, same-day bookings are non-refundable. While it is typically the responsibility of the guest to inform us of their arrival, we understand that circumstances can vary. In light of this, we are willing to extend a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, despite not being informed of your arrival and receiving negative feedback from you. As a service provider, our primary goal is to offer an exceptional guest experience, and we understand that different guests have varying needs and expectations.
