Fine hotel with excellent facilities
This is a beautiful hotel. The facilities are fantastic, the rooms are very large and the staff are both friendly and helpful. There was free water in the room as well as standard coffee making facilities which I appreciated. I was working locally so appreciate the good food choices nearby also. Would definately recommend this hotel.

The rooms are a outdated and they need an update. The look is a lot of Gold bling bling. For sure there a people attracted to this. But is not so much for the younger than 50 folks. Compared to other hotels in the Makati area my personal opinion is that this Hotel lives from its past reputation quite a bit. Service is excellent and breakfast choices are superb. Everything was clean as well. If it wasn't due to the fact that the co-workers travelling with me wanted to go to ShangriLa I would not have booked it. There are more modern options around in Makati with a better cost-benefit-ratio. I did not use the refurbished pool area, the spa or the gym. Also I don't like that this hotel is frequented by working ladies at night quite a bit in the bar area.

Einstiges Vorzeigehotel ist in die Jahre gekommen
Die Infrastruktur ist veraltet und bedarf dringend einer Renovation. Personal bemüht sich sehr doch klemmende Wasserhähne die mit der Zange geschlossen werden müssen und völlig abgetretene Teppiche sind eines 5 Stern Hotels nicht würdig.

nice lobby, but the rooms carpets dated, TV did not work I was only one night there and I moved to another hotel as they don't have away from home feeling, just nice lobby and Ok rooms

Requested for a l(complimentary) ate checkout through 3:00PM, hotel would not grant (and would not give a reason for the denial. BUT.... offered to grant a 4:00PM late checkout (with the half-day charge). Neither the EDSA and the BGC locations denied similar requests. It is a shame! ~ loyal Shangri-La client
