Deluxe Zimmer. Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geräumig. Ich war im 12Stock. Vor dem Hotel ist eine breite Strasse mit Ampel, Regelmässig lassen Hier Motorräder den Motor aufheulen. Das hört man im Zimmer trotz Ohrenstopfen sehr gut. Gut geschlafen habe ich nicht. Das Zimmer hatte ich mehrere Monate im Voraus gebucht mit dem Wunsch ein ruhiges Zimmer zu bekommen. Diesen Wunsch habe ich beim Einchecken wiederholt. Man hat nur freundlich Yes Sir geantwortet. Das Hotel hat 36 Stockwerke, weiter oben wärs ruhiger gewesen aber beim Einchecken war das Hotel ausgebucht. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für philippinische Verhältnisse wohl gut, 70€ pro Nacht finde nicht angemessen.

Toller Aufenthalt, schönes Hotel
Ursprünglich waren 3 Nächte mit meinen Töchtern (15J + 25J) geplant. Meine Älteste ist nach der 2. Nacht wieder nach Hause (Salzburg) geflogen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett - sehr schön und sauber. Holzboden!!! Zu dritt völlig ausreichend. Bad-Auswahl beim Check-in Badewanne oder Dusche. Wir haben uns für die Dusche entschieden. Das Bad war geräumig und sauber. Hand- und Badetücher waren nur für 2 Pers. vorhanden. Einfach Roomservice anrufen. Kein Problem. Föhn, Zahnbürste und -paste, sowie Shampoo und Duschgel vorhanden. Wir waren im 19. Stockwerk. Sehr ruhig mit Klimaanlage und kostenloses Wasser. Um es täglich zu bekommen einfach den Roomservice kontaktieren. Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich! Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht. Man kann ohne weiteres ohne Anmeldung frühstücken und vor Ort bezahlen. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut :D Ebenso auch das Essen auf der Dachterrasse Restaurant "Firefly" inkl. Bar. Der Außenpool mit kleinem Whirlpool ist bis 22:00 Uhr nutzbar. Schön gepflegt, sauber und eine tolle Aussicht, besonders in der Nacht. Badetücher werden für Hotelgäste zur Verfügung gestellt. Parkplatz etwas "tricky". 1. Anstieg sehr steil zum Hochfahren. Sie bieten auch an, das Auto zu parken. Achtung in Manila besteht "Coding" für die Autoplaketten. Endziffer beachten, wenn man mit Auto unterwegs ist. Unser Aufenthalt hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir eine Nacht verlängert haben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Das Hotel "City Garden GRAND Hotel" ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Lieblingshotel in Makati
Das Hotel ist zwar schon älter, was ich normalerweise gar nicht mag und möglichst vermeide - aber hier ist das anders: Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Hotels auf den Philippinen sind hier hochwertige Materialien verbaut und alles wird sehr gut gewartet und gepflegt. Der Zustand ist daher wirklich top - heute noch genauso wie bei meinem ersten Besuch vor fast fünf Jahren. Die Umgebung ist pulsierendes Stadt- und vor allem Nachtleben pur mit unzähligen Bars und Restaurants. Es gibt aber auch eine kleine, sehr nette Mall direkt nebenan. Liebe auch den Pool und die Bar auf dem Dach! Kann dieses Hotel deshalb nur empfehlen!

Room should be prepared with amenities such as fridge being workable, airconditioning turned on, and some moisturizer without being requested when you arrive. TV sounds needed a bit of maintenance. Not sure how good the spa is, tried to go in twice to inquire/book but there were no staff available in the spa room. Overall, nice place with a 360⁰ rooftop view with swimming pool, restaurant, and bar.

What I loved the most was it was a safe place to stay. Always friendly and the pool area was always kept clean. They always held the door opened for you coming and going. It is close to the airport too but give yourself time to get there because its always busy.
