The accommodation boasts a fantastic location as it is practically in the city center, with many places within walking distance. Additionally, public transportation in Manchester is very efficient. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. Breakfast is available for about 9£ if you choose to add it at check-in. My room was cleaned multiple times, so I really have no complaints regarding cleanliness. The major issue is the extremely poor Wi-Fi. However, there is a premium Wi-Fi option available for purchase at around £9 per day. Another drawback is the absence of a toilet brush in the rooms, which is quite inconvenient, especially after using the toilet, as no one wants to encounter any remnants. Other than these points, I have no complaints. The value for money is definitely satisfactory.

Das Hotel ist schon ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen! Die Website Bilder täuschen extrem über den wahren Zustand! Zimmer sind sehr schmuddelig, in den Gängen reicht es nach allem möglichen Sachen! ( in unserem Fall: Cannabis, Urin, Essensreste) Die Lage ist gut Zentral, aber dafür sehr laut! Die Fenster haben überhaupt keinen Schallschutz, im Bad löst sich der Fußboden und der Teppich sowie das Bett wiesen extreme Flecke auf! Wahr schon ecklig!

Altes Hotel mit Charme - Sauber und Zentral
Für mich war die zentrale Lage (am Piccadilly) entscheidend, deshalb fiel die Wahl auf dieses Hotel. Ich wusste es ist eine altes, nicht renoviertes Haus. Das macht aber den Charme aus, es ist ein wenig wie im Museum. Mein Zimmer war sauber, auch das Bad war alt, aber sauber. Das Frühstück wurde im Tanzraum serviert und war o.k. Das Einchecken war etwas umständlich. Da ich zwei getrennt Buchungen für zwei Nächte hatte, musste ich am nächsten Tag noch einmal zur Reception um ein- und auszuchecken, so etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Gut war, dass mein sein Gepäck in einem abgeschlossenen Raum am Abreisetag deponieren konnte.

Ist vermutlich seit 40 Jahren nicht renoviert worden. Fehlende Brandmelder sind heute ein „no Go“. Zimmerservice war in drei Tagen auch nicht da. WLAN nicht in jedem Zimmer. Die Lage an der Markstrasse ist allerdings super.

So, the hotel is just ok. Rooms are clean to the eye(not if you look). But its the staff. None want to be there!! Miserable, abrupt. Securoty whilst necessary is a little confrontational. Full on challenge the moment you cross the threshold and every time you enter. Name. Photo.id. its too much. How about upgrade the entry process and swipe a key before access to rooms rather than treat guests like unwelcome visitors. Put me off staying again.

It is a dated hotel with limited facilities, but the location is good and is absolutely fine for the purpose. Some of the original features downstairs are even quite fun (the water feature and neon signage).

Stayed at the hotel last night. The room had no windows and was hot and stiffling. No air conditioning just a tiny table fan. Decor was old and tired.bathroom dirty. Breakfast was appalling with the cheapest of ingredients.the coffee was like used wasing up water and didnt taste much better. Definately not worth the money and will never stay there again.

The property itself is clean, tidy and the staff are very helpful. The room was very clean, unfortunately I booked a room with no window and it was extremely warm in there, the air conditioning was really weak, they did provide a table top fan which didn't work. I reported this at once but it took nearly 3 hours to aquire another one, but it didn't make much of a difference to the heat, so quite an uncomfortable night was had. The breakfast was very nice.

The property is in good location, i got value for my money interms of convinience and cleaniness, but the reception staff, which should be the initial contact are terrible, with an exception of one of them, they behaved like Dons, ready to bully a guest with cancellation. Zero British customer service value. A guest that has travelled over hundreds of mile that need a comfortable place to rest, finds himself in the hands of capoons, who have zero tolerant to customer complaints. very bad customer relations, but apart from that, every other things are good. But less i forget, there was one of their security man, who is down to the earth, highly trained, and knows his job, he was able to mediate and avoid escallation. kudos to him.

Inside the room & hotel the temperature was very hot & the room was stuffy. I did have a window but this didn’t make a difference. The weather in context was rainy & cold. For safety inside the hotel it was good as a solo female traveller. Security on the door late at night.

Selected a room with no window and there was no working air con. The hotel provided one fan however the room was ridiculously hot. Went to reception to ask for upgrade but was unavailable. Room stated that a safe would be provided but there was no safe.

Spacious rooms and always on point hot water. Clean and comfortable beds. Hotel and rooms are noticeably dated. Nil complimentary wifi in rooms. Everytime elevated stopped on 3rd floor it made a loud bang which echoed through room.

Chose the hotel specifically as it had a pool. Told only when asking where to find the pool that it shut 4 years ago. For £200 for 1 night I'd have expected more. It wasnt awful just lacked the things it advertised. Also unbearably warm but our room had a window at least

Travelling with just one of my son and my wife after a long travel, the staff at the reception wanted proof of IDs which I think was non sense; I’ve been to a lot of Hotels- they don’t need to check Tom, Dick and Harry’s ID apart from the person whose name the booking is under. Just add to much stress and waiting unnecessarily after a long travel in a rainy night!

Stayed for one night and after reading some reviews I was panicking however I did not need too! The staff were lovely and helpful . The room was clean and comfy . Yes the furniture is dated however for the price it was more than worth it ! The only thing I could say is the heating was on full so it was boiling in the room ! I just put the fan on . Overall a cheap good night in Manchester 😊

The room did not have a window which was made clear on the booking, however it was really warm. The fan helped. the location was great and the hotel security was safe. There is parking over the road but was not made clear on the entry of the parking.
