schönes Hotel, aber relativ teuer
Das Zimmer ist schön gross und entspricht den Bildern. Der Whirlpool auf dem Balkon und auch das restliche Interieur wirkte bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Service hätte für diesen Preis besser sein können. Mussten mehrere Male an der Reception nach fehlenden Dingen fragen, wobei es am Schluss trotzdem nicht immer geklappt hat. Für diesen Preis würde ich nicht nochmals kommen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker!

Hotel ausserhalb hat seine beste Zeit gesehen
Das Hotel mach einen sehr schönen Eindruck. Es ist ausserhalb, verhältnissmässig abgelegen, ruhig und sehr schön gelegen. Jedoch mangelt es an einigen Punkten, welche höchstens 2 Sternen entsprechen (z.B. Sauberkeit). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht den Wünschen der Gäste gerecht zu werden. Frühstück entsprach den Erwartungen, Hotelbar katastrophal, Fitnessraum 3 der 5 Geräte ausser Betrieb.

Geheimtipp im Süden
Wir waren mit unserer Familie über Weihnachten im Doubletree und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Essen, die atemberaubende Naturkulisse, die Ruhe, die tolle Lage im Süden - unweit von der Anse Intendance. Das Hotel ist den Seychellen würdig und wird von uns auf jeden Fall weiterempfohlen.

Gutes Hotel in schöner Lage
Das Hotel liegt an einem sehr schönen Strand mit Korallenriff zum Schnorcheln. Daher sollte man beim Baden unbedingt Schuhe tragen, da es sonst zu schmerzhaften Verletzungen kommen kann. Das Hotel selbst ist gut und neu ausgestattet, einzig der Zimmerservice entspricht nicht was man in einem Hotel dieser Preiskategorie erwarten würde. Ob man frische Handtücher bekommen hat oder nur die gebrauchten ohne Ersatz entfernt wurden war reiner Zufall. Jedenfalls fehlten an jedem Tag entweder die Handtücher oder die Badetücher.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem sehr ruhigen Abschnitt im Südosten der Insel. Obwohl die Ausstattung des Hotels ordentlich war, hat uns die Marke HILTON an diesem Ort enttäuscht. Der Staff am Empfang war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dem Service-Personal fehlte es jedoch an "Umsicht". Wenn man gegen 09:30 Uhr sein Frühstück einnahm und kein Tisch Tisch vollständig eingedeckt war sowie bestimmte Artikel (z.B. Joghurt, Orangen oder Muffins) erst auf Nachfrage bereitgestellt wurden, entspricht dies nicht den Erwartungen, schon gar nicht dem unverhältnismäßigen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

I am very disappointed definitely this hotel is not a resort and it is overpriced for the services offered. The level of the staff is mediocre and slow. It does not fit the description of a “resort” and food is poor quality. I would definitely not go back here. Now we have to stay here for 7 days….thank you for your attention.

No HOT water to enjoy the beautiful spa on the de!
I booked a room with a spa which was beautiful but there was NO hot water to enjoy the spa experience. The first day there was hot water but after that nothing. I called the front desk and service people came but the problem was never fixed. The service person said it was a fuse or ? Never got to the root of the problem. I felt the staff knew there were problems with the hot water from the start but pretended that there was no problem. I stopped calling as I didn’t want this to ruin my holiday in the Seychelles. I paid a lot of money for that room to not get hot water. I feel that this is just a basic expectation?

We really enjoyed our every moment in this fabulous hotel. The hotel crew was so nice, courteous, friendly and professional. I would like to thank every one of them from the bottom of my heart for their meticulous service and candour that made us feel home during our stay. I appreciate dear hotel manager Ms. Doreen for creating such a warm and comfortable hotel atmosphere. The hotel is in a very nice location where you can enjoy a lovely ocean view and the serenity . You may even choose not to leave the hotel during your whole visit but do not do that, explore the amazing Mahe island. The forests, mountains and the botanical gardens are also as astoundingly beautiful as the shores. Being now in our apartment in downtown Istanbul, we feel like having seen a beautiful tropical Seychellois dream . I am sure you will also enjoy your every moment in the Seychelles and in this hotel.

What a wonderful experience! From the minute we walked in the hotel, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and always attentive and available to help. The hotel manager Doreen went above and beyond during our check in to make sure we are comfortable after our long flight and to get us into our room as soon as possible. The restaurant/bar staff was always professional, attentive and personable. We loved being serviced by Tolera in the restaurant and Chef Abhishek who made us some spectacular meals. Also , the Assistant Manager Binaya was extremely attentive and surprised us with some special treats at the end of our stay. Thank you so much Double Tree Seychelles Team for the great service and for making your customers a priority!

We checked in around 1:00 PM and patiently waited for the room as the check-in time was 2:00 PM. Finally, we got to our room around 3:00 PM. The temperature inside the room was about 85-90 Degrees Fahrenheit with AC running at full blast. We waited until evening, thinking the AC was working overtime and might start cooling by evening. No Change even after Sun Down. I called reception and complained about the AC. After an hour, the maintenance person finally shows up and says that he has fixed the AC. I asked him to come back after 30 minutes as there was no change inside the room. He came back and said that AC was not working and left. No news after that, and he just disappeared. We were too tired to fight the battle and slept after taking two strong pills. I went to the reception in the morning, complained about the AC, and was told that the AC was fixed/working. I told her that I must be crazy to complain if the AC was working. I asked the receptionist to give us another room, and finally, around 2:00 PM, we were moved to a room with working AC. What a relief. We should have walked out of the room the evening before and demanded a room with working AC. No apologies from the hotel; it seems that the AC is not working in most of the rooms. Shabby service from the Hilton Brand of Hotel. Definitely, not recommended.

Personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo fatto il check alle 7:00 in anticipo di 7 ore e ci hanno accolto nelle zone comuni finché la stanza non è stata pronta (alle 10:30 quindi molto prima del previsto). Anche in uscita poiché avevamo il volo nella serata ci hanno fatto utilizzare la piscina e subito prima della partenza ci hanno dato una stanzetta per farci la doccia e risistemarci. L’auto noleggiata con loro ci è venuta un prezzo decisamente inferiore (la metà) rispetto ai preventivo online. È andato tutto benissimo e consigliamo la struttura per tutti.

Great experience!!
Great experience with the Doubletree. The front of house staff were extremely helpful and have a great process set up for socially distanced check-ins. They were also extremely helpful answering our questions about navigating the island. The room was impeccably clean and had lovely tropical flowers sprinkled all about.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being from USA we were skeptical about the quality we would be receiving as Double Tree in the states aren't the best. The hotel was nice clean and up to date. The staff was extremely welcoming, kind and friendly. We were celebrating my birthday, the staff called me to wish me a happy birthday, sang and provided me with a cake during my meal and left a cake towel on my bed. It made me feel extremely special! the rooms were cleaned daily. they even straightened up the little clutter we left around. there was a mini fridge, coffee etc. The beach and pool are BEAUTIFUL! Very visually appealing! The negatives: the food at the hotel is extremely subpar and overpriced. Luckily we only did half-board, we ended up getting lunch from local shops, like the one across the street, It was a fraction of the price. Wouldn't have mind it being expensive if it was delicious...or at least good. The live music that they have is...ehhh, but they were extremely nice and tried to be diverse with their selections. The hotel doesn't provide airport transpiration. B/c the cab drivers know you are a tourist, they will charge you 800 seychelle roupees= $58.99 or 52.16 Euro EACH WAY!!! (Absolutely ridiculous!) My partner and I ended up using their public transit a lot of the time and used the saved money on other activities. If you LOVE the beach water, make sure you have swim shoes, it is extremely rocky and there are a lot of shells

Average hotel on a nice beach
The location of the hotel is really beautiful. A nice coral reef, blue waters, granite rocks and white sandy beach.The resort has its own beach and there are other two beaches where it is possible to walk without meeting anyone. Our room was clean and big enough, but the air condition wasn't very effective. The sunrise from the hotel balcony was really nice to view. The staff was nice and helpful, although a bit slow to my European mind. The food was good, but the choice not as extensive as we had seen in another hotels.

Super petit hôtel, surtout si vous ni mangez pas
Service navette impeccable. Petit hôtel très bien situé avec beaucoup de charme. Piscine a débordement sur mer très jolie. Plage impeccable. Grande chambre bien équipée avec petit spa. Par contre restauration lamentable, qualité des repas et du petit déjeuner très basse. Service restaurant aussi mauvais.
