„Wir wohnten 3 Nächte im "Lords Room", schön ausgestattes Zimmer mit 3 Fenstern und Badewanne im Zimmer. (Schöne große Dusche war im Bad vorhanden). Pferdeweide vor einem Fenster. - Es war sehr schön, sich in einem so geschmackvoll modernisierten historischen Haus aufzuhalten. Leckeres Frühstück. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung.“

„Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. Thoroughly recommended. “

„The pillow cases and duvet covers smell so bad. Nobody cares if you are sleeping or not because someone was playing music at 1am and there is another guy making calls and running up and down the house 2am. “

Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all. „Joe would go out of his way to help me print some documents and drop them off. He’s there within the hour if there’s any leakage, no matter how small. But the best is Susan who tends to all of your needs! She makes the apartment smell amazing in an instant. She spoils us with a basket full of biscuits and chocolate (which she refills upon request of an additional refresher of linens). Fresh flowers, cream eggs, a pantry full of pasta and sauces, breakfast items, a whole selection of teas and ...

„The staff is extremely nice, the hotel is fine, I missed the breakfast, there is only a complimentary one. Otherwise very OK. Outside it looks really sort of abandoned, but maybe that town is more or less like this.“
