A uncomplicated Motel, Check in Check out in less than 5 minutes. Just didnt like the fact that we had to pay for the parking lot as guest's. (Still in comparison to other places cheap)

By far the worst Motel6 experience.
As the conclusion of a multi-week road trip through the USA, we planned to stay for 2 days at a motel near the airport. Motel 6 was familiar to me, and I had previously had very good experiences. Upon arriving at Motel 6 LAX, I experienced pretty much the worst thing that has happened to me during my travels in accommodation: Parking in the motel's parking lot is NOT free. I did not expect that. The access card for the parking gate and also for the room had to be recoded a total of 4 times. Each time, a different staff member was at the reception and did this. They simply asked for my room number. There was no verification process. On the fourth occasion, as a test, I provided a different room number and immediately after receiving the card, I acknowledged my "error" and requested the correct room number to be encoded on the key card. Even here, I wasn't asked for any verification. To cap off my negative experience, I encountered cigarette butts in the elevator and on the third-floor hallway.

Die Ankunft war sehr stressig. Unterkunft wurde storniert und wir mussten extra mehr als 250€ bezahlen und neu buchen was wir noch nicht erstattet bekommen haben. Das danden wir nicht gut, da das Hotel ohne unser Wissen storniert wurde. Wir erwarten von Expedia eine Entschädigung. Kaffee gab es leider auch nicht immer wie es abgegeben war.

Das Einchecken war etwas problematisch. Musste über 250€ mehr bezahlen und nochmal buchen was nicht in Ordnung war. Expedia hat mir die Gebühren noch nicht erstattet. Kaffee gab es auch nicht regelmäßig im Hotel wie es beschrieben war.

The motel 6 pffers a shuttle bus every full hour. However the shuttle bus actually leaves ever full hour, so don't expect the bus to be there at the full hours. Its more likely that it will arrive 10 to 15 minutes later. Arriving at the motel 6 in the lobby it was quiet busy with people having little questions. Check-In what so ever was quick. If you book a room there, you already don't expect too much. I just needed a bed and so it was fine. There was no liquiet soap for the shower. My room was pretty big. The painted walls looked pretty old. In some areas in the motel 6 it was smelling a tiny bit strange but in my room it was okay. Check out was easy through express check out. The first shuttle leaves at 5am. It was pretty busy. All in all, it was okay.

Plus: Shuttle zum Flughafen, günstige Unterkunft. Relativ gute Busanbindung von Downtown Los Angeles kommend. Negativ: Schlechte Schallisolation: Freeway sehr laut, trotz geschlossenem Fensters. Kondenswasserlache vor der Toilette, tropfte von der Decke aus dem Lüftungsschacht herunter. Aufwischen mit dem Handtuch von der Rezeption, nicht durch das Personal, sondern durch uns als Gast. Insekt im Zimmer gesehen, evtl. Kakerlaken.

Nun ja, die Gegend um den Flughafen war und ist immer etwas tricky! Jede Menge zwielichtige Gestalten und uns wurde empfohlen, nicht einmal morgens die 300 Meter zum Coffeeshop zu Fuß zu gehen... Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel und hatten keinen Zimmerservice. Angeblich immer noch wegen Corona!

Der Parkplatz war für uns gratis, weil die einte Frau beim einchecken einen riesigen Fehler machte. Das Hotel ist super für die erste oder letzte Nacht einer Reise. Sie liegt in der Nähe der Autovermietung hat Highway Anschluss und auch nicht weit zum Shopping.

It's a partylocation. Always loud music, screaming people, loud conversations in the hallways and banging doors. Before 3AM there is no sleep to get. When i got the room, the toilet was clogged and "full". I m very sure, nobody cleaned or desinfected this bathroom after the last customer.. the bed linen looked wrinkly and not like fresh... not nice, even for one night!

We could not check into the facility. I went to check in and the representatives asked did I have any other guest, I let them know my boyfriend was getting our bags. They said that he too would need to be present with his ID or he would not be allowed into the hotel. After explaining that he lost his ID but he has the paperwork from the dmv to prove he was waiting for a replacement they expressed they couldn’t accommodate us and and that he would not be able to enter the hotel. They explained that they had to cancel our reservation that was already paid in full. Such a disappointment and inconvenience.
