Hi Jan! Thank you for this honest review. You are right that our rooms are a bit smaller than many traditional hotels. Despite this, we make sure that every room has an XL King sized bed, a waterfall shower, and smart room tech that you can control from the in-room ipad (or your mobile device with the CitizenM app)!I hope we will get to host you again soon!

Our rooms are compact, but we decided on functionality over space to ensure our rooms are full of the essentials and our XL beds are super comfy. For this reason we have designed our large living rooms, so guests can come down and enjoy the cool space. DTLA does have a homeless population and we are doing our best to support those organisations that provide help to these people. We look forward to having you stay with citizenM again soon.
