Gute und zentrale Lage, Zimmer gut ausgestattet und für Londoner Verhältnisse recht gross. Frühstück reichhaltig, aber teilweise lange Wartezeit vor den Kaffeeautomaten. Nervig war der Fahrstuhl, hier liefen nur zwei von vier. Deshalb teilweise lange Schlangen. Soll aber bis Sommer wieder alles in Ordnung sein.

The room was very big an clean. The beds were greate. The Hotel is very good arrvied by tube or train. One point minus because of the Lifts, there are only two for too much people, and it was not possible to get all foods and drinks which were mentioned at the card.

LAGE: die Lage ist wirklich günstig zur Underground wenige Minuten Fußweg. Zu Oxford Dtreet und Hyde Park ebenso. AMBIENTE: Deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und etwas angestoßenes Mobiliar. INFRASTRUKTUR: von nur 4 Fahrstühlen mindestens 1 immer defekt mit entsprechenden Wartezeiten. Da die Treppen nicht direkt in die Haupthalle führen, war ein ausweichen auch nicht sehr verbreitet. FRÜHSTÜCK: sehr überfüllt und laut. Die Auswahl war soweit ok wenn auch eher überschaubar aber bei der Omelettstation musste man ordentlich Schlange stehen. EMPFEHLUNG? Das hotel wird zu 90% von arabischsprachigen Gästen frequentiert. Darauf sind die Angestellten auch eingestellt. Englisch hört man eher selten. Ist etwas überraschend gewesen. Generell ist das Hotel deutlich zu teuer für den gebotenen Standard. Pro Stunde Late Check out wurden Satte 30£ aufgerufen

Das Thistle ist zwar sehr gut gelegen mit seiner Nähe zur Oxford Street, Hyde Park und 2 Subway Stationen aber da es fest in arabischer Hand ist, ist es schon etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es ist nicht gerade preiswert und dafür doch schon recht abgewohnt. Der Ausblick in den schmuddeligen Hinterhof kann man auch nicht gerade genießen. Leider auch recht hellhörig und laut. Das Frühstück ist recht überfüllt. Auswahl theoretisch ganz gut aber lange Wartezeiten müssen in Kauf genommen werden. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Late checkout wird mit 30£ pro Stunde berechnet.

Im Zimmer ging der TV zwei Tage nicht richtig. Zweimal Serevicepersonal anwesend für über 30 Minuten. Beim 3.Mal kam ein neuer Servicemann, welcher den TV ausgewechselt hat. Das wäre schon beim 1.Mal möglich gewesen. Beim Check in haben wir zusätzlich Frühstück gebucht. Man hat es vergessen zu machen. Probleme beim ersten Frühstück. Danach nochmals gebucht, 1. Frühstück wurde uns geschenkt. Von 4 Liften, gingen gerade mal zwei. Bei sehr viel Gästen war das jeweils eine sehr lange Wartezeit, bis man den Lift erhalten hat. Heizung konnte man nicht auf 20 Grad einstellen, es stellte jeweils immer wieder auf 24 Grad um, was zu heiss war! Beim Zimmerbezug ging der Safe nicht. Die Batterien waren abgelaufen und mussten vom Housekeeping ersetzt werden. Lange Wartezeit. Taxi über Hotel bestellt. War nicht da zur richtigen Zeit da! Ansonten ist das Hotel ideal gelegen und nahe beim Bus und es gibt grosse Zimmer.

Top Hotel an zentraler Lage -Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal-!- -Toller Concierge Service -Top Lage für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten -Sehr bequeme Betten Das Thistle Marble Arch ist wircklich sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist top gelegen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe. Für Familien mit Kindern toll. Madame Tussaud ist zu Fuss erreichbar, Christophers Place eignet sich super um sich zu verkostigen und gleich an der Oxfordstreet, vis a vis vom Primarkt gelegen, kann man shoppen ohne Ende. Wenn ich London wieder Besuche wird dieses Hotel meine 1. Wahl.

Als es noch das Amber war, war das Personal viel freundlicher. Man hat vergessen uns Handtücher hinzulegen, Kaffee wurde nicht aufgefüllt, Waschbecken war verstopft, Telefon funktionierte nicht. Die Produkte, die im Bad zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, waren nicht gut. Als es noch amber war, waren sie toll. Lage aber super. Aber ob ich noch mal hingehen würde, weiß ich nicht.

Very nice hotel, large rooms, especially when compared to other hotels in London. Great location, close to Bond Street, Marble Arch, and the Elizabeth Line Tube stations. Plenty of shopping available. Hop on hop off bus tour close by. Found the elevator service insufficient for a hotel of this size. Staff and dining options were very good. Hotel was extremely clean and had a nice up to date feel about it. We would definitely recommend The Thistle Marble Arch Hotel.

Their 2 elevators were insufficient for the number of rooms in the hotel. Very limited food available. The bar manager Ari made us feel very comfortable and enjoyed his stories!

Overall the hotel was good, it just has 1 major problem… there’s a lack of elevators. It’s a big hotel with only 2, so it’s very difficult to get in and out of the property. I wouldn’t stay there again unless I was on the first floor, and definitely don’t stay there if you’re elderly and can’t take the stairs.

Everything was good but really the limited number of elevators for a property of this size is a real pain in the neck. Going out or into the hotel is a real expedition. You may need sometime more than 10 minutes to go from the 6th floor to the 1st floor (reception). Otherwise, room clean and personnel very helpful and polite.

Dit hotel beviel ons zeer goed. We waren met drie: vader, moeder en zoon van 12. Mooie ruime kamer voor ons 3. Heel netjes, genoeg schone handdoeken indien nodig. Shampoo, zeepjes, bodylotion voorradig. Altijd een paar drankjes (water (dieet-)cola) in de koelkast. Deze was trouwens ook superhandig voor eigen drankjes. Een top ontbijt, plaatsing van gasten supergoed en gestructureerd geregeld. Eten en drinken genoeg en lekker. Personeel heel aardig! Enige minpunt: Jammer dat men (volwassen/arrogante) gasten die heel hard zitten te telefoneren tijdens het ontbijt of (race-)filmpjes zitten te kijken tot zichtbaar ongenoegen van de overige gasten daar niet op durft aan te spreken. Verder top! 👍 Er wordt veel gezegd over de liften; het klopt dat het voor dit grote hotel wat weinig liften zijn, maar ja "geduld is een schone zaak" zeker als je er voor je vakantie bent en als je je gewoon netjes aanpast aan de nette mentaliteit van de Engelsen, komt ieder op zijn beurt boven en/of beneden. De ligging van het hotel is ook top: midden in het centrum en toch hoor je niks van het lawaai van de stad. De metro van Marble Arch om de hoek, wat wil je nog meer. Echt geweldig. Wij komen zeker nog eens hier terug.

The staff were fantastic. We needed an early check in as we were off to the Kings Garden party and despite getting there at 11am, Pav who was working on the front desk managed to get us a room so we could get dressed amd ready to go as early as we could. They truly went above and beyond!

Good size room comfortable beds. Great AC. Free complimemtary bar in room always restocked. Walking distance to tube shopping seeing the sites. Polite helpful staff. Only downside needs more lifts, but this was in progress during our visit. Highly recommend a stay here:)
