The Clermont is situated just beside Victoria Station. The connections to the city are superb (Victoria, District, Circle line). Breakfast was really delicious and the restaurant is a nice one with good value for money. I can recommend the Clermont for a London trip if you are interested in walking distance to Buckingham Palace and to Belgravia.

Positiv: Freundliches Personal. Großes Zimmer. Sauber. Neutral: Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok. Man wird satt, aber qualitativ nichts Besonderes. Wir würden in Zukunft ohne Frühstück buchen und lieber in einem Café etwas essen. Es gibt genug Möglichkeiten in der Nähe und generell unterwegs. Die Lage ist gut, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Außerdem Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, Tube um die Ecke. Dadurch aber eben auch alles recht hektisch, sobald man aus dem Hotel kommt. Negativ: Hotel und insbesondere die Zimmer sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung. Der Teppich im Zimmer ebenso.

Saubere, große Zimmer. Obwohl die Victoria Station gleich darunter ist und eine Hauptverkehrsstraße daneben, sehr ruhig. Sehr gut öffentlich zu erreichen, alles wichtige in nächster Umgebung. Mit der U-Bahn (gleich vor der Tür) in nur 2 Stationen auf der Oxford Street. Food Hall gleich gegenüber.

We enjoyed our stay at the maximum! The hotel's interiors were decorated in a warm and classic style which made us feel very cosy. A beautiful listed building with renovated rooms and most important, very clean. The staff was super polite and service oriented. On our last day we enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea in the tea room, a beautiful experience also for the kids, who got teddy bears as gifts from the staff. Also, the mini bar in the room was full of goodies with no charge!

Britische Gastlichkeit mit Palastfeeling
Im Herzen Londons befindet sich dieses prächtige Hotel, das behutsam modernisiert wurde und alles bietet, was man als Städtereisender benötigt. Ums Eck findet man die Tube, die Victoria-Station mit Zugverbindungen sonder Zahl oder fussläufig auch den Victoria Busbahnhof. Für die erholsame Nachtruhe sorgt nicht zuletzt das exzellente Bett und der Start in den Tag gelingt am Frühstücksbuffet. Abends bieten sich die Theater in der Nachbarschaft an, ein Besuch beim Italiener, im Pub oder im Hotelrestaurant und ein Abendspaziergang zum Buckingham Palace sollte nicht fehlen!

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach nicht zu schlagen. Alle Hop on Hop Off Busse halten direkt vor der Türe, um die Ecke liegt Victoria Station. Die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer des Hotels sind für Großstadtverhältnisse sehr groß und mit allem wichtigen ausgestattet. Das Hotel selbst versprüht den Charme eines Herrenhauses aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Alle Bereiche des Hotels sind sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war auch gut. Alles wurde am Buffet serviert.

Easy to walk to various areas for sightseeing including Chelsea flower show. Lots of cafes, restaurants & pubs in the area too so no need to go too far for somewhere nice to eat if u don’t want to. A bit disappointed though with view from our room. Despite requesting a room overlooking main road ( Buckingham Palace road) our room was directly above glass roof of Victoria station & we couldn’t see onto area below as window was frosted glass!!!

This was our first trip to London and this hotel did not disappoint. Our room was clean, cold and fully stocked with everything we could need. The heated towel holder was a nice touch! If there was something we needed, the staff responded to our request within minutes. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel and its perfect location. I would also like to thank Mohammad for all of his assistance. What a tremendous help he was! And finally, we had dinner in The Soak our last night there - the fried calamari was fantastic! I love a hotel that goes beyond the basics to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
