Sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, gute Lage am Hyde Park direkt am Kensington Palace. Zimmer: Unser Deluxe-Zweibettzimmer wurde aufgebettet, damit wir es als 3 Personen-Familie nutzen können. Das Zimmer war trotzdem noch sehr groß. Der vorhandene Schreibtisch war immer noch gut nutzbar und man konnte sich im Zimmer bewegen ohne sich gegenseitig auf die Füße zu treten. Das Zimmer war sauber und alle Einrichtungsgegenstände waren in Ordnung. Keine Abnutzungsspuren. Es gab eine Euro-Schuko-Steckdose. Das Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche war ebenfalls sehr sauber und ordentlich. Handtücher wurde unaufgefordert alle 2 Tage gewechselt. Unser Zimmer hatte die Fenster zur Rückseite des Hotels. Von daher war es nachts sehr ruhig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es gab im Zimmer keine Garderobe. Daher war das Abtrocknen lassen der nassen Regenjacken (ja, in London regnet es auch mal) nur im Bad möglich. Restaurant: Keine Aussage möglich, da wir wegen unseres Besuchsprogramms ohne Verpflegung gebucht hatten. Gegessen hatten wir meist unterwegs. Umgebung: Direkt vorm Hotel gibt es eine Bushaltestelle. Von dort gelangt man schnell in die Londoner Innenstadt. Wer lieber mit der Tube (Underground) fährt, erreicht die nächste Station ‚High Street Kensington‘ nach wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Fußläufig sind auch einige Restaurants, Imbissläden, Lebensmittelgeschäfte und diverse Bekleidungsgeschäfte erreichbar. Zusammengefasst: Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

- With freezing temperatures outside, the heating of the house could not cope: neither in the rooms, nor in the restaurants. In the room, they had at least provided a woolly plaid. - Staff always friendly. - Breakfast was included in the room price, but we were billed (discretionary) for a tip anyway.

Zentrales Hotel. Sehr sauber. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Alles notwendiges hat man um sich: Restaurants Cafés. Das Hotel befindet sich im Stadtteil Kensington. Nobelviertel. Das einzig negative ist das Frühstück. Das hat definitiv 3 Sterne verdient. Kaum Auswahl!

Die Fernsehsender waren eingeschränkt. Für ein 5* Hotel viel zu kleine Zimmer. Ist aber ein sauberes Hotel was zentral in London liegt und wohin man überall hinkommt. Der Stadtteil ist in einer Botschaftssiedlung.

Für eine Städtereise war dieses Hotel eine gute Ausgangsbasis. Zur Qualität der Verpflegung könne wir keine Angaben mache, da wir diese nicht genutzt haben. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, hatte gute Betten und ein schönes, ausreichend großes Badezimmer. Checkin und Checkout waren schnell gemacht. Wir würden dieses Hotel weiter empfehlen.

Personal und Service waren hilfsreich und freundlich. Für 5 Sterne Hotel finde ich zu viel verlangt den es fehlt einen Schwimmbad und das Fitness is ausserhalb von den Gebäude. Eingang für das Auto war zu eng ohne separates Fussweg. Room service fangen gegen ca 8:30 Uhr an und wird danach nicht mehr room Service gemacht wenn man im Zimmer ist. Somit bleibt die benützte Tassen und Abfall den Tag stehen. Local ist Top für Shopping und Essen.

14:49 93 Faultless and I don't say that lightly. Over a good 25 years my husband and I have stayed in dozens of hotels in the city and none have come close to The Royal Garden. Firstly this stay was special because it was our first since my husband almost lost his life at Christmas. I had advised the hotel as we had a couple of requests and not only did they honour those but they upgraded us to a stunning room over looking the park AND placed some extremely thoughtful gifts in our room. A wonderful lady (who l had the pleasure of meeting upon check out) had handpicked some items for us. We were incredibly touched. The room itself was joyously quiet, a great size and the view was so relaxing. The fluffiest towels ever and everything you could want or need on hand. The bed was extremely comfy. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING. The quality of everything was excellent and whilst a buffet, all items were fresh, hot and delicious. Eggs and coffees are available on request when seated. Every member of staff we encountered was delightful, welcoming and friendly but the front of house reception staff really shine here. I can't say thank you enough for making our first stay away from home since our life changing event, such a memorable one that we will never forget for all the right reasons. We will always choose The Royal Garden from now on.

It's a great hotel in a prime position for Royal Albert Hall and also Kensington. Nice to have the park next door for fresh air and a wall. Excellent service from all the staff and a spacious clean room.

Had a great time service great, allow me to get a room right when I arrived from the Airport early AM, the only issue is that the room probably was smoking room and without Air condition might be bad and I don't smoke also the view for the suite I use was not good at all

The staff were amazing - from check in to the conceirge to the door men all were exceptional. We loved the piano bar and the restaurant staff and food was top notch! The 9th floor bar had amazing views and cocktails! The room was checked throughout the day as requested for garbage removal and towels and bed turndown. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They even advised us that the rooms would be refurbished soon, nonetheless they were spacious and really comfortable!

A few things were annoying-shampoo & conditioner bottles were impossible to open on 2 mornings. I finally succeeded by immersing them in a cup of boiling water! And paying £4 for a bowl of porridge with blueberries is impossible to understand when the other cereals are included in the breakfast menu!
