The hotel was overbooked so we where booked in the sister hotel. It was just a few meters down the street and included an 5star upgrade. The roomies have been clean and super comfortable. We will book again.

Netter Empfang, gute Lage vom Hotel, keine 4 Sterne, Zimmer sehr klein, aber sauber. Leider hat bei uns das Licht nicht richtig funktioniert. Frühstück war ausreichend. Alles Nötige war vorhanden.

Hervorragend ist das Frühstück, aber sonst würde ich sagen, es sollte Miniatur Paddington und nicht Grand Paddington heißen. Unter Delux Zweibettzimmer verstehe ich etwas anderes.Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig, aber sehr klein. Im Winter nicht zu empfehlen, denn nur die Fußbodenheizung ist die einzige Wärmequelle. Kommt man Abends zurück zum Hotel, sind 17Grad im Zimmer, da die 2 Karte aus dem Strom gezogen wurde und nichts läuft. Am ersten Tag wurde die Karte drin gelassen und alle Lampen waren an. Wo ist da mehr Verschwendung? In der Nähe vom Hotel sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, was sehr gut ist.Die U-BAHN ist etwa 400 Meter zu Fuß.

Positiv: Optimal gelegen, fußläufig von Kensington Garden. Der Bahnhof Paddington und mehrere Tube Stationen sind schnell zu erreichen. Der Queensway mit Pubs, Restaurants und Shopping-Möglichkeiten ist nur zwei Straßenzüge entfernt. Negativ: Wir buchten ein 4 Sterne Hotel und erhielten ein winziges Zimmer ohne weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten. Vor dem Fenster ein Baugerüst, so dass ein Öffnen des Fensters unmöglich war. Wenn man die Vorhänge öffnete, hatte man Kontakt zu den Arbeitern. Preis und Leistung standen in kleinem Verhältnis. Man sollte von Bauarbeiten beeinträchtigte Zimmer nicht vermieten!

The first time I stayed here it was all very good.I got the room that I had booked with a king bed overlooking the garden. Ever since there has always been a problem with the last 4 bookings. This visit we arrived at around 6 pm. The room they gave us had not been cleaned. It did not have a queen bed as booked and was very small up in the attic. Reception seemed unconcerned that the room was dirty but offered me a room on the lower ground floor. I always e mail in advance to ask to not but me in the basement. The rooms are dark and depressing. This was the only room they had so we had to take it. Although offered a full refund looking for a room at 6 pm was after travelling all day was not an option. The hotel really needs to pay attention to returning guests and improve their methods of allocating rooms to actually give people what they have booked!!

Situated in central London about a 5 minute walk from Lancaster Gate tube station and a stones throw from Hyde Park. Conveniently located to access the West End, Park Lane and other parts of central London. The hotel is nice and clean. The room I stayed in was small but well designed with everything you need. It had a fridge, microwave, kettle and lots of complimentary drinks and a box of chocolates. There were a variety of international plug sockets to cater for travellers from all around the globe. The staff were courteous and professional and answered all the questions I had. I'd definitely stay here again.

We would certainly stay here again. We had a 10 day booking and loved the location and neighborhood, close to Paddington Station, restaurants, and a great walkability factor. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, but clean with comfortable beds. Plumbing works great too, plenty of hot water and modern showers. Staff was friendly and immediately changed our room when we were originally given a room on the lowest level that seemed like a basement. Ask for a room on the upper floors! Our only complaint would be the anemic air conditioning. I’m afraid the room would be way too hot for us in the summer. The thermostat was set at 19 degrees centigrade and we asked staff to lower this but it didn’t happen. We were ok with this although we sure would have liked the room to be cooler. Again, not the cheapest hotel but for the price we’re were very happy and would stay here again on our next visit.
