Sehr gutes Hotel,ruhig,sauber,Zimmer zwar sehr klein aber für 1 Person ausreichend.Mein Deluxe Zimmer war in den Hof im 1.Stock,leider kann man in der Nacht Gäste draußen hören und in der Früh Entsorgung von den Flaschen usw.

Sehr englisches Hotel im Herzen von London.
Das Dukes liegt perfect im St. James. In unmittelbarer Nähe liegen High End Shopping,hype Restaurants und Bars, anderseits aber auch sind die schönen Parks von London direkt vor der Haustüre. Trotz der zentralen Lage liegt es sehr ruhig. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl im Dukes; wie bei englischen Freunden zu Hause. Das Restaurant im Sous Sol wurde dieses Jahr vollumfänglich renoviert und vergrössert. Sehr gelungen. Das Frühstück, auch hier "very brittish" und frish zubereitet. Im Wintergarten wird der Afternoontea serviert, auch das ein Erlebnis. Das Highlight im Dukes für mich ist die Coctail Bar. Die ist jedoch seit ewigkeiten fest in italieischen Händen. Die Martini Coctails .. unschlagbar aber sehr gefährlich.

Sehr zentrales, typisch englisches feines Hotel
Unser Aufenthalt im Dukes war sehr angenehm. Es ist ein sehr schönes typisch englisches Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage und trotzdem ruhig. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht sehr groß, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Zustand war sehr ordentlich und gepflegt. Die Bäder sind neu. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gemütliche und sehr gut geführte Bar, die auch sehr gut frequentiert war. Die Atmosphäre dort war besonders. Das Personal vom Hotel war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Beautiful property in a safe and well-located area of London. Located in the back yard of Buckingham Palace, St. James Palace, and blocks from Piccadilly Circus, Duke’s is most convenient. Charming decor, comfortable beds and pillows, generous sized bathrooms, you will want for nothing. The staff goes above and beyond! Jose at the front desk was always so much more than kind! I wish I had gotten more names to be able to recognize the other staff members. They were genuinely helpful! Just ask and they will find a way to make it happen. The restaurants and the room service were wonderful! The Great British Restaurant was fantastic! The salmon was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The Irish soda bread was incredible and the seaweed butter was sublime. The steak was good and the side of carrots were done well. Once again, the service was the best part! Above and beyond expectations! I would highly recommend Duke’s for a wonderful stay in London. I’m looking forward to returning soon. I would have one small recommendation, please upgrade the toilet tissue. Every other detail is so well thought out, this one should be too.
