HelloNo mention of cleanliness was mentioned during the stay even after you were told to check the room and let us know of any issuesThe room is advertised as a 'small double' ???Other larger rooms were available for an extra cost but the cheaper option was what you decided Thanks

Disappointing night
Our room was awkward, the bed was uncomfortable and the cleaning had been done only minimally. Our evening meal was adequate but no better. Breakfast was just about OK, but bacon was tough (how is that possible?) Overall it seemed expensive.

No facilities except room available hotel completely closed no staff no food provided no bar or restaurant open hotel member rang on day to inform us of access to our room only. room poorly maintained and cold bathroom heating below average in room felt very insecure

Great Value
Had a great long weekend stay. Room was small but comfortable as was the ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent! Would stay again.

Long Weekend early September
Stayed for a long weekend. Made very welcome and excellent breakfast. Plenty of free parking and good WiFi signal in our room. Room a bit small but perfectly ok.

This was clean and comfortable lovely and quiet until around midnight when our neighbours returned they were also quite loud in the morning too apart from that a lovely stay

A quick but happy hop to Wales !
We were welcomed and checked in easily. We went straight in for Dinner and the food was great. Room was fine. We were literally in it for less that 8 hours and then headed off again. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Fantastic friendly staff. Our stay was very comfortable. They went out of their way to meet our needs. They provided us with a additional heater as we like it slightly warmer. I appreciated the room service for meals. The food was well prepared. We couldn’t have asked for more. This was our first holiday post covid and we felt very safe especially considering we had a vulnerable family member with us.

One night stop over
Friendly cosy pub & restaurant with great food. We had the large family room and beds were clean and comfy with towels and toiletries provided. Had to ask for loo roll but other than that it was really lovely

Had a goodnight sleep facilities were good although cleanleness wasnt the best as there was still left over sweets on the floor from previous stay (red jelly type) cupboards broken etc which were not a massive issue bathroom light just flickered Nice location Staff are great lovely gentleman who showed us to our room and offered to help with bags etc Free on site parking

Wonderful Hidden Gem
I needed to get away to work away from the madness of lockdown, I was fortunate to find this wonderful hidden gem. Due to Covid there were no amenities such as restaurant etc but I brought food with me. I had the honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi bath which was a life saver for my body and I slept for 15 hours!!! The room was lovely including a fridge, sofa, vanity etc everything I needed to relax and work, set in a beautiful peaceful oasis of tranquillity. For me and my circumstances I would highly recommend.

Very welcoming, good value, mild disruptions.
My check in was very quick and welcoming. I was expected and was requested if i wanted an evening meal or breakfast and at what time. I was then pointed to my room. The room is in good condition. Slightly outdated decoration but for the price, I'd rather it stay cheaper and outdated rather than pay for some new curtains and sink. There were more than enough facilities in my room, tea/coffee/shower gel, everything you would expect. It was clean and all in order. The walls are quite thin which meant a bit of a late night waiting for my neighbour to finish his telephone conversation but the bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep. The morning was less pleasing. My shower was warm but very underpowered which left me splashing it up my body to try to get a proper wash. Breakfast was a bit of a panic, there was a miscommunication between staff so breakfast was not ready at the right time, the lady was in a mad panic to cook before even asking what I wanted. There was limited cereal and toast so I only really wanted an egg but 10mins later she broughr a full english out. I am not a fan of wasting food so was a bit disappointed an order hadn't been taken. Out of politeness i ate some, all good quality for the price and well prepared just not what I wanted. Check-out was very simple, just a matter of handing keys in to staff who were easy to find. Its a lovely building and I would stay again without question, I only hope breakfast is a bit smoother and the shower works ⭐⭐⭐

Great potential, just needs TLC.
Food was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Downside, it’s a bit run down and not looked after. First room the door lock was broken, second room very small no WiFi, shower was broken and the door knob was missing and the bare screw stabbed me in the bum.
