Wunderbare neue Hotelanlage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, hervoragende Küche. Wunderschöne Pool- und Spa- Anlage. Leider etwas abgelegen und der Strand hatte schwarzen und nicht weissen Sand. Am Wochenende, hatte es es sehr viele Hotelgäste die laut und ohne Anstand die Poolanlage in beschlagnahmten.

Pros: - sehr schöne Lage, super Meerblick, moderne Anlage - Minibar (nur alkoholfreie Getränke) täglich im Zimmerpreis enthalten - Sixt Mietstation direkt in der Tiefgarage, sehr komfortabel - drei top Restaurants Cons: - Personal teilweise etwas überfordert, wenn viel Betrieb herrscht (bspw. beim Frühstück) - im Wellness-Bereich wurden unsere Bademäntel (inkl. Schlüsselkarten) weggeräumt - Housekeeping und Wiederauffüllung der Minibar passierte meist erst nach Aufforderung - Hotelgästen wird sogar seitens Hotelpersonal empfohlen sich möglichst früh durch Handtuch auflegen Sonnenliegen zu reservieren (absolutes No Go) - Maskenpflicht im Hotel wird von 80% der Gäste nicht eingehalten (interessiert keinen) - Betten sehr weich, wie durchgelegen

das Hotel ist ein neues Hotel der 5 Sterne Klasse. Gut gelegen wenn man einen Urlaub weitgehend im Resort verbringen will. Ansonsten sind Taxis nach Limassol verfügbar. Zimmer, Pool und auch Strand perfekt. Die 3 Restaurants sind OK. Wir haben 2 besucht und das Essen ist recht gut aber sicher etwas überteuert. Ich muss aber sagen, dass generell das Niveau des Essens in Restaurants in Limassol nicht überragend ist soweit wir es testen konnten. Auf jeden Fall können wir das Hotel empfehlen und würden wieder hinreisen.

Positiv - die ganze Anlage ist ziemlich neu (wohl 2019 errichtet) und macht insgesamt einen entsprechend guten, sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Die Zimmer sehen aus wie auf den Werbefotos, also echt toll. leider (eher) Negativ - die Gastronomie, vor allem das Abendessen in Verbindung mit gebuchter Halbpension: ich hätte gedacht, dass die Halbpension einfach bedeutet am Abend verpflegt zu werden (was ja eigentlich auch vorab bezahlt wurde) - das ist leider nicht so einfach, man hat pro Tag ein "Guthaben", das man in den 3 Restaurants verbrauchen kann oder auch nicht. Dieses Guthaben gilt nur für Speisen, nicht für Getränke. Wer also irgendeine Flüssigkeit zum Essen dazu möchte muss gleich nochmals tief in die Tasche greifen (auch für Wasser). Ich pflege Urlaubstage nicht minutiös durchzuplanen (genau das ist für mich ein wichtiges Merkmal von Urlaub) und habe daher sogar größtes Verständnis dafür, dass in bestimmten "luxuriösen" Hotelrestaurants dann kurzfristig oft kein Platz mehr verfügbar ist und ich mich mit einem "Standardrestaurant" begnügen muss, kein Problem. Im Amara gibt es jedoch einfach kein "Standardrestaurant" und man geht davon aus, dass reserviert wird. Kann man machen, dann darf man sich aber nicht vorab die Halbpension bezahlen lassen und dann Leute wegschicken die bereits bezahlt haben. Die tolle Halbpension ist also überwiegend einfach verfallen - sicher sehr erfreulich für das Hotel (ohne Gegenleistung bezahlt zu werden), sehr unerfreulich als Gast.

This hotel was easily on the top 3 hotels I’ve stayed at in my lifetime. I’ve rarely reviewed my stays unless it was above or below expectations. This hotel really embodies the idea of a home away from home. It has absolutely everything you may need in a resort, incredible dining options, and an outstanding staff that’s trained extremely well to anticipate what you may need. The spa was also one of the best I’ve experienced with a 3000 year old wall in the middle of it that the hotel has preserved in the construction process. This is the kind if hotel you visit and spend most of the time there enjoying their facilities. The rooms are incredible but they are not the stand out feature of our stay. The only comment to offer a fair review is that there isn’t much around the area in terms of touristic sites or walks, it’s definitely a staycation type of resort. I will visit again probably within the next 4-5 months purely due to our enjoyment there.

Overall the hotel is very well maintained but as a platinum expedia members we were declined the upgrade given that the hotel was not fully booked. Amenities are decent and facilities are acceptable (eg not enough pools or seating beds) for the capacity at the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amara in Limassol, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the hotel service was exceptional. Not only were they beautifully decorated, but the view across the sea was absolutely breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, and the offer of a late check-out was a thoughtful gesture that truly made our stay memorable. The facilities at Amara are second to none, with the stunning pool being a standout feature. It provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding and soaking up the sun. While the location, right on the beach, was convenient for relaxation, it was also just a short drive away from the bustling center of Limassol, offering the best of both worlds. Considering the level of service, amenities, and overall experience, I found the value for money at Amara to be exceptional, especially considering it's a 5-star hotel. Our experience at the Amara was perfect. Our sea view room was modern, clean and quiet with spectacular views. The restaurants were all fabulous with Michelin star chefs. The food and cocktails were delicious. And the breakfast in the morning was sheer perfection with lots of variety. The spa was gorgeous and huge and our treatments were lovely.

Well as a gold member and having booked 3 rooms at hotels.com vip property at amara and not having to be granted my vip perks as a gold member it was a bit disappointing The staff did not want to grant us even our bottle of wine . The beach and pool staff was friendly and helpful, on the other side the room service was always very late even for just water . The reception staff wasn’t very friendly and helpful.overall I rate my experience 7 out of 10.

5 days of pure relaxation and luxury.
Had an amazing stay at the Amara. Five days of total relaxation and luxury. Rooms have everything you need, staff are all polite and attentive. Restaurants all really good food. Recommendation to anyone booking is to book restaurants in advance as they get full on Friday and Saturday. Would recommend and will be returning.

disappointing and unprofessional behavior
- we booked 5 rooms and asked to be placed on the same floor. The reception informed that this option is not available, which is understandable, but mentioned that we can easily move between rooms since we have the same elevator. what she did not say is that each one of us had access to their floor only, and this is very deceptive - another issue is, upon check in i used my amex. however the machine did not accept it because of connection issue although i was charged. The receptionist the moment the payment was not confirmed asked me to deal with it and contact “JCC” which is a local entity in Cyprus & i did not know it. I had to insist that she needs to investigate it and the only party i can talk to is my card provider - my biggest issue is that i had to checkout earlier because of a death in my family. I informed the reception a day before for a refund or to apply the cancellation policy. The receptionist promised to come back to me. she never did. However on the day of checkout i asked again and she said that its not possible. I mentioned that it does not make sense since you have a cancellation policy. She referred me to another lady and she said the issue is related to the fact i booked through hotels.com as they will deduct fees anyways if they don’t approve. I asked if hotels.com contacted the hotel to confirm their approval would amara hotel accept to apply the cancellation policy and she confirmed. I called hotels.com and they called amara and they refused
