Wir haben als Familie eine wunderschöne Zeit nach einer Rundreise dort verbracht. Ein kleines Paradies!!!! Die Häuschen im Wald sind einfach total schön. Ebenso die Poolanlage und auch der Strand.

Sehr schönes, jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Resort! Die "Hütten" und die umliegende Natur sind sehr schön - der Bereich der Lobby und des Hauptrestaurant wirken jedoch eher "renovierungsbedürftig"!

Wir waren rund eine Woche im Januar 2024 dort. Wir hatten ein Chalet im Wald. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Schöne Anlage und guter Service und sauber. Das Hotel liegt etwa 30 Min. ausserhalb der Stadt. Ist aber mit Taxi oder Grab schnell erreichbar. Kosten für eine Fahrt zwischen 25 und 40 Ringgit. Das Meer ist direkt beim Hotel. Es hat genügend Sonnenschirme und Liegen. In der Nähe hat es keine Restaurants. Deshalb in den Hotelrestaurants oder in der Stadt essen gehen.

Wunderschöne Anlage im Dschungel, viel Natur, tolle Tierwelt, die man praktisch vor der Tür beobachten kann. Sehr schöner, gepflegter Strand mit genug Liegen. Tolle Poolanlage, hier allerdings oft sehr voll. Sehr gutes Essen in den Restaurants, v.a. in der Brasserie und im Thai Restaurant. Vollpension ist sehr zu empfehlen, ist preislich wesentlich günstiger als einzeln a la Carte zu bestellen. Das Personal ist unheimlich nett und bemüht, die Köche geben ihr bestes. Auch die Reinigungskräfte sind sehr freundlich. Wir waren mega begeistert, Traumhotel in Traumlandschaft.. fur Leute die Ruhe und Natur lieben. Es gibt abends eine tolle Führung durch die Anlage, bei der man Tiere wie Flughörnchen und Nashornvögel beobachten kann und viel über die ursprüngliche Natur erfährt. Auch das Spa ist wunderschön, sehr zu empfehlen!

Excellent place for a relaxing stay!
We stayed here for five nights over Christmas in a Rainforest Chalet and we loved the location (quiet and away from the crowds), the pool bar, the wonderful private beach and the very friendly staff. There was also a lot of great wildlife in the area but watch out for the monkeys. We did the Christmas dinner at the Thai restaurant and unfortunately the food was really not good at all and the food overall at the resort was average at best and not a very good value for money compared to elsewhere but everything else about the stay was great!

Well. If you like an entrance area like a concourse of a train station, than you have a very warm welcome. Partly long waiting for shuttle bus to your accommodation. Friendly staff and good food at breakfast. Not 5* but a small adventure in the jungle.

Schönes Luxus-Ressort in toller Lage
Das Ressort liegt am Fuße dschungelbewachsener Berge direkt am Strand. Die Bungalows liegen verstreut teilweise in Gartenlage (mit Meerblick) oder direkt auf dem Wasser. Da es keine Zäune zum angrenzenden Dschungel gibt, kann man häufig Affen, Vögel oder Warane beobachten, die zu Besuch in den Garten kommen. Das Personal ist nett und aufmerksam. Gut gefallen hat uns auch der gepflegte Pool und der saubere Strand. Negativ ist uns der Lärm durch Gartengeräte (Laubpüster morgens um 7 Uhr) und durch den dauernden Shuttlebus-Verkehr in der Anlage aufgefallen. Auch ist das Essen im Ressort völlig überteuert und alternativen sind nur motorisiert erreichbar.

Wir waren im Oktober 2018 im Hotel Berjaya auf Langkawi und es war ganz okay aber aus unserer Sicht definitiv kein 5-Stern Hotel. Dafür gab es zu viele kleine Unstimmigkeiten. Die Sauberkeit der ganzen Anlage war solala; überall liegt Abfall in der Anlage und im Urwald. Die Gebäude sind teilweise auch tenovationsbedürftig und im Restaurant wartet man Ewigkeiten aufs Essen (in unserem Fall einmal 90 min). Minibar wurde nicht aufgefüllt und Bestellungen gehen vergessen. Der Strand ist zwar sehr schön und das Essen (nicht Buffet) lecker aber insgesamt wird im Berjaya kein 5-Stern Service angeboten. Das Hotel ist weit entfernt vom restlichen Insel-Leben. Trotzdem hatten wir eine gemütliche und erholsame Zeit..

- Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. - Wir haben an einem Abend einen Tisch im Thai-Restaurant gebucht. Das Essen schmeckte uns im Thai-Restaurant besser als am Buffet. Aber auch am Buffet werden qualitativ gute Speisen angeboten. - Die Anlage ist sehr gross und es wird innerhalb der Anlage ein Shuttle-Service angeboten. - Der Strand ist schön und sauber. - Der Spa ist sehr schön und idyllisch.

Das Resort liegt ca.20 min Fahrzeit vom Flughafen entfernt und ist riesig. Mitten in den Regenwald professionell eingebaute Holzhütten. Personal ist gut geschult und immer nett. Alles gut organisiert. Das einzigste was ich bemängeln würde wäre die etwas abgenutzte Einrichtung und Bäder.

Schönes Resort auf einer schönen Insel, die viel zu bieten hat. Wir waren drei Tage dort, hätten aber gerne etwas mehr Zeit gehabt. Einziger negativer Punkt: Unser Rainforest Chalet lag an der "Hauptverkehrsstraße" innerhalb des Resorts und ab morgens 7.30 Uhr war der Pendelverkehr (u.a. Shuttle Busse etc.) extrem hoch und laut.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Langkawi trip and wished we stayed longer. Whilst the rooms may be somewhat dated for a 5*, the customer service at this hotel is exceptional. After checkin they got in touch by WhatsApp to let us know they were available for any assistance 24’7. The facilities were nice, the staff were extremely polite and attentive. It was a real bonus seeing monkeys around the resort, (wish they had come to our balcony!) We didn’t have to wait long for a buggy and didn’t experience queues at breakfast. We opted for half board, there were loads of food options which we liked. On checkout I had left something in the room and they got in touch to let me know within in hour or so, thankfully I had a friend that was able to pick up the item.

Lovely resort on a beautiful private beach. Close to the Skybridge, and Oriental Village.

Loved how relaxing the resort is. The staff are so welcoming and the food in the restaurants were delicious. Nothing we didnt like and only wished that we could have stayed longer . Maybe next time .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort exceeded all expectations! Literally Paradise for a week! I gpt a seaview premier chalet and it was perfect. I was greeted with warm smiles, impeccable service and a buggy to my villa. The resort's stunning location amidst lush greenery and overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea created a picturesque backdrop for a truly memorable vacation. The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional charm. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustle of palm leaves was a rejuvenating experience. The spacious rooms offered breathtaking views and i mean it BREATHETAKING. The resort's facilities catered to every need and desire. Whether lounging by the pool, indulging in delectable cuisine at one of the restaurants, or pampering myself with a relaxing spa treatment, every experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and cared for, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the island's natural beauty through the resort's various excursions and activities. From island hopping Jet skiing to horse riding on the beach, there was never a dull moment. The knowledgeable guides provided valuable insights into the local culture and ecosystem, enhancing the overall experience.

Enjoyable stay almost in the jungle with monkeys around. Food, beach and swimming pool very good and staff very helpful. Had a rented car and it was convenient as the resort is away from everything else. Highly recommended.

We spent 10 days at the Berjaya and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on one of the chalets over the water. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was a joy, as was watching the sunset from the Thai restaurant. All the restaurants offered a good selection of food, my only quibble being the lack of Malaysian snacks such as Sate at the beach/pool bar. One point where things could improve was the need for a supervisor at the beach bar at busy periods. The lads behind the bar did get confused and overwhelmed some lunchtimes. The resort is spread over a large area with many chalets built into the forest. These looked nice but I heard from some that these looked tired. The Berjaya are in the process of renovating their chalets. To cover this area buggies transport you to restaurants, spa (excellent male therapist in the mens section), pool and back to your chalet. The resort provided a very relaxing holiday and the staff were friendly and so helpful. A big thank you to them all. It is however worth noting few things about the area. We were surprised to find some shops and and restaurants had not reopened since Covid, in particular at the Oriental village and Perdana quay. This limited the amount of alternative places to eat. Fortunately taxi are cheap and easy to get, so you can get to Pantai Cenang etc for a change of scene.

Good value for your money
Beautiful landscape, the hotel has probably seen its best years bur is still nice and clean. Food was ok. We stayed in a premium on water chalet which has amazing views. Overall good experience. The staff was great, really trying their best to make you feel welcome.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. All the staff was amazing and very accommodating, they go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. It’s a large resort so need a shuttle to get around. They also have a private beach area which is clean and has food and beverage options. Seeing monkeys around the property is also a treat, just need to be careful around them. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, found is slow at times. This can improved.
