„Ja klar die Bucht, das Wasser, der Strand - schnorcheln, der Pool, die Sonnenuntergänge alles ein Traum. Aber das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen - Teppich runtergetreten, Tür für den Kühlschrank ging nur noch mit einem ordentlichen Stoss zu, im Gaming Room fehlten die Torwarte beim Kicker, die Automaten funktionierten nicht richtig, die Eismaschine auf unserem Stockwerk war defekt usw. Mein Fazit: die Woche war wunderschön - die Lage machte mich wirklich glücklich - und ich habe die Zeit ...

„Beautiful resort. Very attentive staff, five stars for those. The beds were not good. I expect more when staying at a hotel like that with a $35.00 resort fee a day. Also, you can ONLY valet your vehicle which means you will tip them each time you grab your vehicle, and you still have to pay a $30.00 a day parking fee on top of it. It should be an either or option. I would not recommend it to others because the bed was not comfortable.“

However, a few things that didn’t meet our expectations were the following: -overall checkin was frustrating and communication was lacking from the property management company. -lack of items in unit such as towels. „Honua Kai resort is lovely. Multiple pools for all ages. Duke's restaurant very good. Our accomodations were adequate, not luxurious. Staff is accomodating. Property manager has the reputation of being "strict" according to valet service, so don't try to check in before 11!“

„Great unit and location. As others stated the unit is dated but it was very clean and has everything you need as well as extras like beach equipment, chairs, a cooler and lots of kitchen essentials. Walking distance to ABC, a grocery store and food trucks. The view was outstanding and the pools and grounds were beautiful. Would definitely book this unit again. “

„This is a perfect unit in a very nice building right on the waterfront. The unit was clean, very comfortable and well appointed. There was even a blender to make smoothies. „We throughly enjoyed our stay in this 2 bedroom condo in the Honua Kai resort. We have previously rented many condos but none were as clean at this one was upon our arrival. Communication with the host, Fereshteh was excellent. We had one small issue that was resolved quickly. Some of the small details included: shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in each shower; dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, garbage bags,use of 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, pool noodles and cooler. He sent detailed check-in instructions along with helpful information about the area. He called before, during and after our stay to make sure everything went well for us. „the photos show you what your getting. the Marriott's Maui Ocean Club has been around. Beach is smaller than it use to be. lot of erosion. property well kept up. just gets the quick clean and is fine but not spotless. basics are well done. room is well supplied with basics to keep it nice, do laundry and run the dish washer. kitchen well stocked. had. great week. convent to the parking garage. the negs: porch is small. and the handrail is eye height when sitting out there. room is way different ...

„Sehr geräumige Wohnung, allerdings heisst Ocean-vue, dass der Ocean vom Balkon sichtbar ist...Ansonsten alles bestens, sehr schöne, saubere Zimmer, trotz Grösse der Anlage ruhiges Ambiente (Achtung zur Zeit -Aug. 16 wird ein neuer Komplex angebaut), Poolanlage sehr schön, war sehr gut besucht, guter Direktzugang zum Strand, dort immer viel Platz zum direkten Schnorchelvergnügen. “
