Die tropische und riesige Anlage ist ein Traum in guter Lage. Hier bekommt man 4-5 Sterne-Luxus zu fairem Preis. Zu Fuß ist der nächste Supermarkt/Restaurants etwas weiter weg, aber mit dem Mietwagen top. Straßen und Zufahrt geteert einfach zu erreichen. Man ist in knapp 30 Minuten am Arenal Volcano National Park. Die Hotel Anlage hat sehr viel zu bieten: Der Viewpoint vom Hotel hat uns den besten Blick auf den Arenal beschert, aber auch vom Poolgelände aus ist er gut zu bewundern. Es gibt hoteleigene Trails und die Möglichkeit zum Los Lagos herunterzugehen. Die Wasserrutsche am Pool ist legendär schnell, unbedingt testen! Frühstück sehr reichhaltig mit viel Auswahl und immer frischen Früchte, aber auch einheimische Spezialitäten. Abends bietet das Restaurant à La Carte oder Buffet an, Preise im Vergleich ok. Am liebsten haben wir an der Poolbar zu Abend gegessen, die haben wunderbare Pizzen. Zimmer groß und geräumig mit schickem Bad, wir hatten unseres in einem Bungalow am Hang mit längerem Fußweg zu Poools/Restaurant. Für uns kein Problem. Alles in allem der perfekte Start in unsere Rundreise, danke!

Ein sehr sauberes Hotel mit wunderschöner Pool Landschaft. Die verschiedenen heißen oder auch kalten Becken laden zum Entspannen ein. Auch das Essen und Bar Angebot lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Die Mitarbeiter sind ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam. Wenn man möchte kann man vom Hotel aus gegen Aufpreis Ausflüge unternehmen.

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel ok. Hotsprings, Pool Bar , gut angelegt. Unser Zimmer (247) war ziemlich weit am Berg. Höhen Unterschied ca. 80 Höhenmeter auf 700 Meter, teilweise ziemlich steil. Wir sind dann mit dem Auto zum Frühstück, an den Pool und zum Abendessen gefahren. Was in einer hotelinfrastruktur anders geregelt sein sollte. Ist auch nicht unbedingt umweltfreundlich. Beim checkin galt 15:00h nicht eine Minute vorher 😕

Sehr schön gelegen, auch die Badeanlage ist sehr schön, leider war das Wasser nicht sehr sauber, Gäste gehen teilweise mit Schuhen und mit Kleidung baden. Das Zimmer ist ok, könnte etwas Erneuerung gebrauchen. Frühstück ist phantastisch!

Costa Rica ist für mich das Land der netten und höflichen Menschen. In diesem Hotel haben wir es das einzige mal erlebt, das sie, sagen wir mal verhalten waren. Irgendwie hatte man das Gefühl, es fehlte ihnen am Spaß bei der Arbeit. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war ok, das die AC im ersten Zimmer kaputt war, kann mal passieren. Wenn man auf billige amerikanische Disneykunst steht, fühlt man sich hier sicher wohl. Der ganze Pool aus Beton modellierten Bäumen und Steinen. Das Frühstück war organisiert wie eine Kantine. Das Internet (nicht das WLAN) war geprägt durch ständige Unterbrechungen und somit faktisch nicht zu gebrauchen.

Amazing wellness hotel with plenty of hot spring pools, a huge park area with some animals to see (turtles, butterflues, hummingbirds,...) It also has a viewpoint at the top of the hill from where you have a very nice view over the volcano.

This property is absolutely lovely and well maintained. There is a lot to explore, many trails, ponds, gardens and fields. A variety of birds and other wildlife are easy to see. The pools, are sparkling clean, and the staff were all helpful and courteous. The view is spectacular, right at the base of Arenal volcano. The food in the cafe is very good for breakfast which was included in our stay.

The property was perfect for the Arenal segment of our week in Costa Rica. Beautiful grounds and we also enjoyed the hot spring pools. Nice for all ages of travelers. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, an unexpected bonus, nice blow dryers IYKYK. The on-site restaurant had an extensive buffet breakfast included which was awesome. Also must mention the spa, a very special experience, hearing the sounds of the outdoors during my wonderful treatment. Would love to return someday, and only positive things to say!

We woke up to construction going in right next door to our room. At 7:30am we woke up to banging noises all morning. I could not relax on my balcony and drink coffee in the morning. I paid full price and the managers are not returning my emails. Terrible experience

A great place to stay with kids over 18. The drinks and food were reasonable priced and good! Shout out to Oscar the bartender at the pool. He was so friendly and took great care of our family!

Los Lagos exceeded our expectations. I thought it was a great value for what we paid. While the lobby appeared slightly dated, our room was newly renovated. Beds were comfortable and our patio had a beautiful view of Arenal. The hot springs were amazing and my kids LOVED the water slides. Food at the restaurant was great. Staff were all very friendly and housekeeping left cute towel animals for our girls in the room. Grounds were immaculate. I would recommend this property to anyone.
