everything was just beyond expectation. Hot Spring was just wonderful with lots of different pools, free ice cream & green tea latte was delicious. (personally didn't enjoy the free ramen so much) it was a good walking distance from Kyoto station.

I liked the Japanese Style rooms and the onsen a lot. Although the hotel was fully booked it was a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The staff at the lobby spoke English and were really friendly. The hotel provides a mot of amenities- just help yourself. I really liked that the gave me a quiet room with a nice view. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes from Kyoto station. You have to take off your shoes and store them in a locker at the front. This is why I didn’t gave an excellent rating overall and just a good rating for the staff. Since it was raining I , of course, removed my shoes before entering. Since my boots are leather and were really expensive I didn’t wanted the leather to crinkle so I wanted to take them with me for cleaning, drying and stuffing so the leather won’t get bad. It took a very long discussion with the staff and I think, they didn’t want to understand why I did not want to stuff my expensiv and wet boots into a small box. maybe they should offer towels for shoes and stuffing materials so that you can help yourself at the entrance and don’t discuss with the customer for 10minutes especially when they hold there shoes in their hands and are definitely not wearing them.

This hotel is luxxx, with a free ramen service and glorious bath it's the full package. Which is lucky, because it's on a main road and you need to work a bit harder than most Japanese neighbourhoods to find the good places (try Davada coffee). Visited at the end of Golden Week so it was busy as all get out, but the staff couldn't have been lovelier. A nice splurge 😊

Not enough benches to put on shoes. Trash bins too small, especially in the toilet. Love the services and front desk staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent. Add congestion notification for massage chairs, like laundry status. Efficient notification system on amenities. Loved the mineral baths!

Highly recommend if you want to have a hot springs experience without having to travel to an onsen town. One of the best breakfast spreads we've had at a hotel. Very close to Kyoto station and dining food halls.

We loved this hotel with hot spring baths in the center of Kyoto. The room was small but had everything we needed. The baths were excellent, and we were close to shopping, food, the bus and train station. This is a great value for your money and a central location to access everything in Kyoto.

Absolutely loved this property! It’s a very unique experience with the hot springs and how you are able to walk around the hotel without shoes. The atmosphere of the hotel was also very relaxing and the rooms were very quiet. They have many amenities for guests such as massage chairs, coffee machine, and yakult/ice cream after hot spring baths. I recommend getting the additional breakfast buffet. They have such a variety of foods and even freshly fried tempura! I honestly didn’t even have to eat lunch during the day with how full I was from breakfast, haha. I will say, some of the amenities get really crowded towards the evening. Which is to be expected (especially traveling in the springtime), but it disappointed me a little. Felt like I had to fight to get a chance on the massage chairs or use the free washing machines. But it can’t be helped. It is a very popular hotel with foreign visitors. If you’re a bit more shy about the hot springs, I recommend waking up around 5 AM for a bath. Barely anyone there and it helps wake you up. Overall, I enjoyed this experience! If you’re ok with a bit busier of a hotel, then I definitely recommend.

The hotel can hold your luggage before check-in time to allow you to explore the city. The hotel itself is beautiful and gives you an enjoyable experience. The breakfast buffet was our favorite part of the day besides the onsen and numerous amenities. It’s also close to Kyoto station. Staff were really helpful with check-in and using Yamato luggage delivery services.

The good: Clean place, fantastic breakfast buffet (breakfast buffet staff were so friendly!). The hotel is located close to Kyoto Station and the Kyoto Tower. Kyoto was an amazing city with tons of places to visit. Wish we’d had more time here. The meh: WiFi was pretty bad. Not many good restaurants close by. We weren’t a fan of the general vibe. I think people copped attitudes here because of the hot spring/sauna atmosphere. Tbf, that is about customers, not staff.

Absolutely loved tatami floor mats through out. The onsen was relaxing and clean, we enjoyed using it as much as we could. The massage chairs where very popular but worth the wait for that 15min massage after walking all day. The onsite laundry room came in handy and was easy to use. And you have to try the traditional Japanese breakfast at least once during your stay. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we will be booking here again in the future.

Shoes free through out the hotel was a great experience for the kids, the free massage chairs outside onsen was great, enjoying free ice cream and yoghurt right after bath enhanced the experience. All you can eat noodles after 9pm was neat. All the hotel staff were excellent! The rooms were somewhat small, did not bother us as we end out spending most of the time outside of the rooms.
