Probably the best hostel in the world
I have stayed in many hostels and this is head and shoulders above others. They have clearly put time Money and thought it and it shows. Nicely done, lovely rooms and great and quiet location.

First, I did not realize that I was booked in a shared room, which was not clear on the booking reservation.... In the middle of the night on the night of my first day, one of the others in the room decided to do a physical gym-type workout for over an hour. This was unbearable. I checked out, but the charge for ten days was still on my account, never refunded. My actual stay was only one night, but the remainder was not removed, even though I cancelled it through Expedia. This is a bad business practice, and I will report it further, if there is no refund.

Good hostel. Nicely done, but somewhat unwelcoming front desk staff & no elevator. So if your room is in the 3rd floor, got to take the luggage(s) up the stairs. The bathrooms could use some cleaning.

Terrible hostel with unclear booking details
It was hard to understand we booked one queen bed for two people and there were 4 other queen beds in the room. We didnt know that until we arrived in the hostel. The stay was a nightmare. We were 6 people int the room with 4 beds. It was not clean at all, there was a bug on the walls of bathroom. Awful experience

Stayed in a dorm with double bed. Comfortable mattress. Curtains for privacy. Personal lights and electrical outlets. You should bring your own lock for storage, or I believe you can rent a lock. Overall a positive stay.

Nice location
It was clean, and I'm satisfied totally, but there is no air conditioner. I couldn't sleep well. I hope it be fixed. But the location is so convenient, friendly staffs, and well maintainanced. I'd like to stay again.

Great location. Historic building on a quiet street in the heart of the city, walking distance from many sights, bars and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Absolutely brand new, we were among the first guests. We had a spacious dormitory room which has lots of character due to its historical style with a beautiful ceiling and an old heating stove, but with big modern beds and two lockers for large luggage and smaller stuff. Free Wi-Fi was working everywhere. There is a large shared kitchen near the lobby. Nice and young staff all speak good English and willing to help. The building doesn’t have lift, but it wasn’t problem for any of us. I think one of the best possible locations in Kiev making it very easy to meet locals, with popular places, such as Chinese restaurant, True Burger and Hendricks bar are just 2 minutes walk away.
