Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem malerisch gelegenen Resort und werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen. Die weitläufige Anlage ist optimal in die Natur integriert, das Thema Nachhaltigkeit und Ressourcenschonung wird hier ganz groß geschrieben. Das Design und verwendeten Materialien sind nicht modern, sondern klassisch zeitlos uns sehr gemütlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind in allen Bereichen äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und zu jeder Zeit sehr kundenorientiert. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch die Gerichte im Pool Restaurant sind hervorragend. Beim Frühstück gefiel uns besonders, dass das Sortiment eher klein, aber zu jeder Zeit abwechslungsreich und frisch war (auch hier werden Ressourcen geschont). Die gebuchte Thai Massage im SPA ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen, der große Yoga Raum hat eine sensationelle Aussicht, der gut klimatisierte Fitnessraum ermöglicht ein ganzheitliches Training. Beim Housekeeping gab es an der ein oder anderen Stelle kleine Ausrutscher, die aber wirklich nicht weiter ins Gewicht fielen. Tip: Führung im hauseigenen Organic Garden - beeindruckende Arbeit.

Tsongsai Bay ist eine schöne, in traditionellem Stil gehaltene Hotelanlage am Strand. Für einen erholsamen Strandirlaib auch mit Kondern ist die Anlage sehr gut geeignet. Der private Pool war nicht einsehbar, aber etwas klein. Das Essen war gut und vielfältig.

Samui paradise
what an exceptional place - close to the main tourist areas of the island, but you feel like you are staying at a remote hideaway of luxury. a huge tropical garden along a private beach, hotel buildings and villas almost invisible among the greenery, impeccable service, the friendliest smiles, great food. we had a pool villa overlooking the Gulf - the most perfect sea view you can think of; just wonderful.

Ruhiges Hotel zum Entspannen
Der richtige Ort zum Entspannen. Privater Strand sorgt für unbesorgtes Sonnenbaden und schwimmen im Meer/Pool. Einziger Schönheitsfehler, für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse sind kaum Leistungen wie Yoga, Kochkurse,... inkludiert. Auch die Restaurants sind für thailändische Verhältnisse teurer. Wer bereit ist für ein nachhaltiges Service etwas mehr als ortsüblich zu zahlen ist hier genau richtig.

Das Hotel ist echt grandios, alle sind freundlich und machen den Aufenthalt zu einem Unvergesslichen. Den einzigen negativen Anmerkungen, die man erwähnen kann: es gibt keinen gratis pick up Service vom Flughafen, und die Preise für den Spa Bereich sowie Essen sind überteuert.

Hotel eingebettet in sehr schöne Bucht
Leider begann die Ankunft am Flughafen Samui schlecht. Der über Expedia zusätzlich gebuchte Transfer zum Hotel war nicht anwesend. Nach x Telefonaten und einer Stunde Wartezeit kam dann das Fahrzeug. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen in einer sehr schönen privaten Bucht die nur vom Hotel zugänglich ist. Dadurch hat man dort viel Ruhe und ist nur mit den anderen Hotelgästen in der Hotelanlage und am Strand/Pool. Generell hatten wir dort einen entspannten Badeurlaub mit schönen Unterkünften und sehr schönen Gärten/Natur/Pflanzen im Hotel. Man kann vom Hotel aus Kayak, Katameran und Standup Padelboards kostenlos leihen. Es gibt ein gut ausgestattetes Fitnesstudio, Tischtennis und Poolbilliard im Angebot. Das Wetter war trotz Monsunzeit bei 14 Tagen Aufenthalt bis auf drei Tage sonniges Badewetter. Die drei Tage waren mit abwechselnd Gewitter und Sonne. Tagestemperaturen waren zwischen 29 und 33 Grad. Die Nachttemperaturen zwischen 25 und 29 Grad. Die Restaurants waren qualitativ sehr gut. Was gestört hat da Nebensaison ist, das nur das Beachrestaurant täglich geöffnet war, das Restaurant bei der Lobby (Thailändische Spezialitäten) war nur Mittwoch, Freitag und Samstag geöffnet. Ein weiteres Restaurant war offiziell wegen Renovierung geschlossen, in Wahrheit haben wir aber von einem Mitarbeiter erfahren das es wegen der Nebensaison geschlossen war. Diese Situation mit den Restaurants fanden wir generell sehr störend da dadurch keine Abwechslung vorhanden war.

Einfach traumhaft....
Ein wunderschönes Hotel, perfekt für Ruhesuchende mit der Hoteleigenen Bucht und dem Strand. Wunderschöne Zimmer, sehr sauber mit diversen Kleinigkeiten wie frische Früchte, Kekse, mehrere Wasserflaschen. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum, speziell die frischen Fruchtsäfte sind super lecker. Auch das Abendessen am Beach war sehr gut. Mit dem Taxi ist man in 3-4 Min. am Chong Mon Beach. Dort gibts Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einen wunderschönen feinen Sandstrand.

Das romantischste Hotel überhaupt! Sehr weiterzuempfehlen!
Eine sehr schöne, im Grünen gelegene Hotelanlage mit eigenem Strand, sehr ruhig und romantisch, super nettes Personal, das Frühstück lässt keine wünsche offen. Die Zmmer (wir hatten Cottage Suite gebucht) sind sehr nett eingerichtet, im thailändischen Stil, mit eigener Terasse und Badewanne draussen!. Es gab jeden Tag Trinkwasser und Früchte auf dem Zimmer. The Thongsai Bay hat eigene Restaurants, die allerdings etwas teuerer für thailändische Verhältnisse sind, dafür aber 5 Sterne wohl verdient haben! Bis zum "turbulenten" Nachbarsort Chaweng mit Bars, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. sind es ca. 10 Min. Taxifahrt (Taxokosten: 400 Baht, was auch etwas teuer für thailändische Verhältnisse ist, da die Hotelanlage "abseits" liegt. Ein Tipp: immer über den Preis verhandeln!). Der schöne und saubere Strand mit grobkörnigen Sand, das Baden im warmen, blauen Meer, Swimming Pool mit Süßwasser, Bar mit Restaurant direkt am Strand, das Quitschen der Vögel, Palmen, Blumen, Plfanzen ohne Ende... Es gibt einfach nichts an dem Hotel auszusetzen!

Stayed in hillside pool villa and probably best room I have ever experienced. Large private pool and massive veranda overlooking the bay. Food in the restaurants is good and the staff super friendly and attentive. The beach is a bit more shingle than fine sand found elsewhere on the island, but that is a minor quibble. Excellent resort and well worth a visit.

The perfect resort to spend a special occasion
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at this beautiful resort which by far exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning you feel at home and taken care of. The hotel has everything you could want - the rooms are well apportioned, the finishes are exquisite and every little extra is thrown in, including the type of cushion you require to get a proper night’s rest. Apart from its idyllic location and many amenities that make the resort stand out, the staff really played a big role in making the experience wonderful - from the moment we checked in with Kaiki until we checked out seven days later. The front desk staff were phenomenal including Kaiki, Nooi, Pur Thunder and Noey. We also note the phenomenal service at the restaurant by especially Tang, Pu, Ice, Tiger and Manuel and the very delightful juice barista, Ms Pu! We were especially happy with the extensive vegan, vegetarian and plant based options and chef Eak makes the most delicious home made vegan breakfast sausages. We can’t wait to come back!

Our family getaway at Garrya Tongsai was nothing short of incredible. From the welcoming check-in to the impeccable service provided by the friendly staff, every moment felt like a cherished memory in the making. Our daughter's daily adventures at the Kids Club were a highlight, thanks to the creative activities and attentive staff. There was an excellent complimentary breakfast buffet and all of the restaurants had great food and were able to accommodate a gluten allergy. The massages at the spa were genuinely the best I've ever had! Our heartfelt thanks to the entire Garrya Tongsai team for making our family trip unforgettable. Amidst the impeccable service, delightful cuisine, and heavenly spa experiences, we were pleasantly surprised by the resort's eco-friendly initiatives, including the thoughtful touch of offering lemongrass straws instead of plastic ones. We're already looking forward to returning to this paradise.

I had an amazing stay at Garrya. It is quieter and away from the main streets, and if we wanted to explore it was easy and inexpensive to request a shuttle or taxi. I needed to visit the hospital during my stay, and the staff were so kind and helpful in arranging transportation late at night. The food for breakfast and the restaurants was delicious and service was great. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for six nights after a recommendation from friends, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional and helpful. We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the ocean for the first half of our stay and then a villa which was stunning! The rooms were immaculate, spacious and had beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast selection, and the private beach and pool areas were very relaxing. I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful staff. This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Property and staff are top rate. Rooms are big and views are nice from rooms. It is not a loud party place. Sits on its own but close to town. Breakfast Buffet was great. The main Restaurant was good but we thought was expensive. We didnt think to highly of the quality or price of the food at the Beach Bar. Be aware there are no elevators.The are no Hotel amenity books in the rooms and the room light switches take some time to figure out. Would we stay there again, Absolutely!!
