Es war unsere schlechteste Unterkunft in Thailand und das mit Abstand. Wir hatten Ameisen im Bad. Wir teilten dies mit und trotzdem wurde schlecht geputzt. Am nächsten Tag waren kleine würmer überall im Bad. Die Angestellten spucken rum. Überall Kehricht. Am Frühstücksbüffet sind sie unfreundlich und arbeiten nur ungerne.

Positive: beautiful beach, easy check in & check out, guys in the red shirt super kind, view from upper houses very nice, welcome drinks & cool towels, bar & restaurant right at the beach (you can get solid food all Day Long here), location right in the jungle (for nature lovers), hammocks on each balcony Negative: breakfast (except pancake) not very good, min. 30min walk to town (not recommended during the night), boat fare 100THB per ride per person (even if you wait for the check in/out boats at 8:30, 12:30, 14:00 they also cost), cockroaches in each room, cannot leave stuff on the balconys due to monkeys, no free water Recommendations if you like to stay here: - calculate budget for the longtail boat fares to town (100THB per person per ride) - use the mosquito nets on the bed - insist on a printed copy of the receipt if you book your speed boat/ferry for departure @Vikings - feel free to approach the staff proactively if you need something, they are very kind

Man sollte gut „zu Fuß“ sein - aber sehr schön
Super Lage mit eigener Bucht zum Baden. Zum schönen long Beach nur 5 Minuten. Man sollte jedoch gut zu Fuß sein, da man schon ein bisschen über Stock und Stein wandern muss. In die Stadt sind es ca 30 Minuten. Frühstück kostet 150 Baht und war in Ordnung. Das Essen war ansonsten sehr günstig. Kann ich weiter empfehlen

Gemische Gefühle
Pro: -das zimmer war wie auf den Fotos. Sehr schön, sauber hat mir sehr gut gefallen. -man wird mit einem Boot abgeholt. Super :) (Wäre schön gewesen das das auch vorher kommuniziert wird). -der Long Beach ist direkt am Resort und es gibt auch einen kleinen privaten Strand. Kontra: -je nachdem in welchem Raum ich war musste ich manuell das wlan Netz ändern. -wenn das Frühstücksbüffet ab 7:30 geöffnet ist dann sollte nicht erst damit angefangen werden es aufzubauen. -über den kompletten Aufenthalt ging mein TV nicht. Auf mehrfaches Nachfragen wurde keine Lösung gefunden. Eine Entschädigung gab es bis dato nicht. -auf keine meiner E-Mails bekam ich eine Antwort. Das Resort ist wirklich wie im Urwald, das ist schon schön aber man sollte auch hier etwas mehr auf Sauberkeit achten. Die Stufen sind teils echt krass, definitiv nichts für Menschen mit Knie Problemen oder Ältere.

Vikings Nature Resort
Wir hatten das Gefühl, mitten im Dschungel zu übernachten. Die Hütten waren sauber, hatten eine Klimaanlage, einen Safe und eine Minibar. Wir haben uns hier ser wohl gefühlt und die Übernachtungen in diesem Resort waren für uns ein schönes Abenteuer. Der Strand ist ein Traum.

Hotelanlage schmutzig, könnte sehr idyllisch sein, wenn man sich um die ganzen gefallenen Blätter und Müll am Strand sowie Plastik kümmern würde. Personal scheint an Kunden desinteressiert zu sein. Der Strand ist klein aber sehr fein. Leider fahren viele longtails vorbei (laut). Hatten ein Zimmer mit traumhaften Ausblick. Die meisten Zimmer sind eher im Dschungel ohne Ausblick.

Das Hotel liegt wirklich weit vom Schuss. Etwa 30 min zu Fuß bis zur Stadt. Aber so ist es genau richtig, wenn man seine Ruhe vom Trouble in der Stadt haben möchte. Einer der Hotelstrände ist nicht so schön gelegen, da extrem viel Müll und Bauschutt herumliegt. Der andere, am Restaurant gelegene, ist viel besser. Noch besser dagegen ist der nächste, nur einen Katzensprung entfernte, Long Beach. Leider gibt es keinen Shop in der Nähe, sodass man sich Getränke aus der Stadt heranschleppen muss. Die Minibar-Preise sind jedoch sehr moderat. Was noch toll war, das kostenlose Taxiboot in die Stadt bzw an den Pier!

Leider waren fast überall Bauarbeiten, somit Lärm und der Service nicht zufriedenstellend. Empfang, Abwicklung CheckIn dafür sehr problemlos und zügig, Essen sehr gut und das Resort an sich erfüllte unsere Erwartungen.

Danke 1500 zeichenbeschränkung! Ausführlichere Bewertung auf tripadvisor + günstig + kostenloser transfer bei ankunft / abfahrt + englischsprachige fernsehsender + anlage hätte potenzial + frühstück war ok + nachts sehr ruhig + matratze bequem - anlage zugemüllt, niemanden interessiert offensichtlicher müll am strand / restaurantbereich sowie innerhalb der anlage - restaurantklos permanent verstopft - roomservice putzt nicht, macht nur das bett - strand (vor dem restaurant) voller steine, schwimmen gefährlich - restaurantessen ganz ok, mehr aber auch nicht - personal sehr unaufmerksam und extrem unfreundlich. Ganz offensichtlich hasst man dort touristen Die zugemüllte anlage sowie die extrem unfreundlichen mitarbeiter haben uns den aufenthalt verdorben. Wir würden diese anlage nicjt weiterempfehlen. Lieber etwas mehr bezahlen und eine anlage am long beach auswählen!

Kleine Bungalows in Strandnähe
Nach Ankunft mit der Fähre würden wir abgeholt und zum Hotel gebracht, nach dem einchecken zeigte man uns unseren Bungalow und brachte auch unser Gepäck dort hin. Unser Bungalow war ziemlich klein, aber mit Hängematten und Blick aufs Meer, um hin zu kommen geht man durch den Wald am Meer entlang, leider liegt da einiges an Müll herum, was sehr schade ist. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert, leider wurde der Strom mit entfernen der Zimmerkarte auch vom Kühlschrank abgeschaltet, so das sich davor immer eine Pfütze bildete. Betten waren bequem.

Alles top super zum erholen Wer bischen feiern möchte kann runter zum hafen Da gibt es alles was du brauchst. Bucht das zimmer B2 das ist das einzige zimmer ohne Klima anlage.toiletten und dusche sind drausen leider nicht im zimmer.aber dafür bist du genau am strand und kannst immer wenn du keine lust auf sand hast dich in die hängematte legen.

unser Aufenthalt war super. Das Hotel befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Städtchens, welches aber über einen abendteuerlichen Weg zu Fuss in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen ist. Der Weg führt durch den Jungel aber auch am Strand vorbei. Je nach Dunkelheit mit den Flipflops nicht sehr geeignet da der Weg über Stock und Stein führt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und sehr international ausgelegt. das Einzige was wir kritisieren können, ist der ständige und laute Bootverkehr. Ansonsten ein top Hotel um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

This property is such an interesting place. I have to say the room you get can make or break your experience not just here but on the entire island. First of all on arrival, it's actually quite well organized. You should have someone with a sign waiting on the pier with the name of the resort on a placard. Then you take a little longtail boat to the resort. The checkin process is quick easy and efficient and they have people who help take your bags to the room. The reason for this is because you'll have a quick jungle trek to your room of choice. We asked for a quiet room and probably got one of the best rooms on the resort since it was really close to love beach and it was a little isolated from the noise of the boats coming and going. ONE thing that bears mentioning is that at this point you're probably going to wonder where the heck have you arrived and what are you going to do now. But the resort is actually very walkable if you ask staff. You can walk into town and also to long beach so you're not really cut off from the rest of the island. When we first arrived we had a bit of a sinking feeling but then once we realized it was easily walkable then we immediately felt much much better about our choice. IF you have any mobility issues though please think twice. Finally the rooms themselves were nice and cute and full of character. Not in a negative way but it definitely felt kind of cool and funky in a nice way. The TV worked well and you had the option to watch netf

Great location. While the hotel itself is in a very quiet area, it's a quick 15 minute walk to get into town. We enjoyed having the option to relax on our peaceful beach, or to hit the town and all the great restaurants and bars. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the air conditioning. We completely understand the importance of saving electricity, and like all the hotels we visited in Thailand, it's your room key that gives you electricity, including the air conditioning. Seeing as the rooms are individual huts (very beautiful), there is no central AC like you would have in a big hotel. The result is an unbearable hot sauna every time you get back to the room. We left the windows and patio doors open with the screens closed to try and keep the place somewhat cool, but there is very little wind, and every evening we were melting as we tried to get to sleep. Throughout the night, the air conditioning would eventually cool the place down, but only after several hours. I know this isn't a problem with the hotel, but I think it's important to point out for those who do not endure the heat so well.

Fun little treehouse style resort with private beach. Transportation to and from town is somewhat an issue. They say it is a 25 min easy walk but it is not easy. You need to hire a scooter which is 200 baht per person. The food at the resort restaurant is priced well so not really an issue unless you have a tour or want to go to town. The beach is wonderful and not packed with people. We would definitely return.

Loved this resort! It’s very private and has a beautiful beach, reasonably priced food and drinks and our 3 bedroom 3 bathroom cabin was absolutely beautiful. The walk to town (a must do) takes about 20 minutes but you can also take the resort’s private longboat for free. My daughter felt very safe at night when walking alone.

We stayed at the Viking Nature Resort for one night on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. We took the complimentary boat over from the main pier and they gave us an incredible room with a huge porch, hammock and ocean view which we did not expect. They decorated the room for our honeymoon and the staff were super kind and helpful. The beach is beautiful and feels super secluded. Despite what google maps says, there is an an easy 15 minute walk to the popping part of town. They also have massages on the beach with great prices. This is a hidden gem and highly recommended!

My friends and I had an incredible experience at the Viking Nature Resort. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They helped organize a perfect snorkeling tour with pickup/drop off at the resorts private beach. The restaurant menu has a lot to offer and everything we ordered was great. We did not dine out anywhere else on the island because it was so convenient. The walk into town takes 20-25 minutes but it’s a nice walk right along the coast and beaches. We loved the grand villa and really enjoyed our stay!

This was a special stay for our 29th wedding anniversary. We chose it for its uniqueness, beauty, and privacy, and it far surpassed our expectations! The room we were given was just above the lobby and restaurant, which over looked the beach, was both private and close proximity for convenience. The bungalow was huge and comfortable. Very well stocked with amenities. We really enjoyed our stay!

Loved the location, the beaches, the walk to town. The long tail drops you off on the sand and you walk off the sand into reception. We could open our bathroom window and see the sea. Also loved the hammock and the pot with scoop to wash your feet. Staff carried our bag so far up the hill we felt bad. Will definitely go back.

Quiet and peaceful, we felt very close to nature! We also loved the location and amenities of our room (we had a bungalow facing the sea). However, the room didn’t feel very clean (the rugs didn’t look like they had been washed and there were some bugs in the washroom. Additionally the mattress seemed a bit old and smelt a bit of old sweat. Overall it’s a lovely place if you want peace and quiet away from the tourist frenzy.

Location fantastica immersa nel verde. Avevamo la camera M10C, con una vista brullissima sul mare ed era molto pulita. In dotazione vengono forniti anche telo mare e pigiama. La colazione offre prodotti locali di buona qualità. Il ristorante offre una vasta scelta di piatti e chiude alle 9. La struttura offre anche diversi tour in barca a prezzi validi. Il personale è sempre cortese disponibile. Siamo stati in spiaggia dopo il check-in e ci hanno dato anche dei teli per poter fare una doccia prima di andar via. Ci tornerei assolutamente se dovessi tornare a Phi Phi Island!

This was just what we hoped for. Our room was small, but that was okay. We had sea views and a little private balcony with a hammock. You’re right in the jungle, which we loved. The walk to town is fine, when the tide is out you can go all the way along the beach. Scope out the “inland” route in the day before trying to do it at night! The resorts beach is beautiful and Long beach is a very short walk away.

Terrible experience
Me and my wife got serious food poisoning after diner in hotel restaurant. Half an hour after meal both of us started vomiting ang got diarrhea. It was so serious that we moved to the hospital where we spent 2,5 days with high fever 39,5 C.! After just 8 hours after meal we were so exhausted that couldn't stand or feet. So at 4 am I woke up a stuff member in reception, where he was sleeping. Asked him to call a boat to take us to the hospital. He was not happy that I woke him up, very sleepy, said to me that it is impossible (?!). After a few minutes he agreed to call somebody and charged me double price for transfer to WorldMed hospital. Anyway, all transfers by boat to town are not for free, you need to pay in reception what is not ok in my opinion. Other option is a 30 minutes walk across the rain forest with wild monkeys, very dangerous after getting dark. My wife was in such a terrible state that I had to carry her from a boat to the hospital. After 2 days straight from hospital still with cannula in my vein I came back to check out from hotel, my wife was still in hospital. I was ask to pay for my last diner even after I said we are in a hospital after that meal. And for 2 bottles of water from room (even with fact that we missed 3 breakfast...). We made a mess in the toilet when we got sick, after 2 days it was still dirty and not cleaned... Room the same. Dirty tables in restaurant.

Me and my wife got serious food poisoning after diner in hotel restaurant. We spent 2,5 days with high fever 39,5 C.! At 4 am I woke up a stuff member in reception, where he was sleeping. Asked him to call a boat to take us to the hospital. He was not happy that I woke him up, very sleepy, said to me that it is impossible (?!). After a few minutes he agreed to call somebody and charged me double price. My wife was in such a terrible state that I had to carry her from a boat to the hospital. After 2 days straight from hospital still with cannula in my vein I came back to check out from hotel, my wife was still in hospital. I was ask to pay for my last diner even after I said we are in a hospital after that meal. And for 2 bottles of water from room (even with fact that we missed 3 breakfast...). We made a mess in the toilet when we got sick, after 2 days it was still dirty and not cleaned... Room the same. Dirty tables in restaurant. 1 waitress was speaking English in a level to communicate well, all the rest terrible or not at all, including reception. Check out was 27.01.2023, lady in reception started laughing when I said we spent last 2 days in a hospital... Terrible experience, first time in my life and I travel a lot. Avoid this place if you don't want your holiday change to a nightmare.
