Super schönes altes Hotel . Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Aufzug . Personal war sehr hilfsbereit . Abends in der Bar gab es Live Musik. Das Bier dort war mit 8 Euro sehr teuer .Das Hotel war in bester Lage .

Das klassische Haus liegt in bester Zentrumslage. Vom Parkhaus gegenüber sind es zwei Minuten zum Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus im traditionellen Stil bietet eine sehr schöne und geschmackvolle Bar und Brasserie. Den Zimmern sieht man ihr Alter etwas an. Sie waren sehr sauber, sehr groß, bieten ausreichend Staufläche, versprühten aber zum Rest des Hauses weniger Charme. Die Badezimmer sind mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet. Das hervorragende Frühstück bot ein kontinentales Frühstück mit guter Auswahl, Süßkram, Cerealien und Obst. Dazu klassische warme Gerichte a la Card. Wir können das Hotel rundum empfehlen.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage, freundliches Personal. Leider waren die Fenster nur einen kleinen Spalt zu öffnen dadurch war es sehr warm und stickig. Nettes Pub im Erdgeschoss und gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl-wird serviert.

Die perfekte Lage zur Erkundung der Stadt. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum direkt am Castle. Das Zimmer war sehr neu und komfortabel. Kritikpunkt ist nur, dass sich die Fenster leider nur einen Mini-Spalt (ein paar cm) öffnen ließen. Das Frühstück war für irische Verhältnisse sehr gut. das Personal war freundlich. Wir würden bei einer erneuten Reise nach Kilkenny jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

Schönes Hotel zentral gelegen.
Schönes Hotel mit Charme und schicker Einrichtung. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist sehr schick und das Essen nur zu empfehlen. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt’s im Parkhaus schräg gegenüber.

Diskothek im Keller des Gebäudes, sehr laut!
Das Zimmer befand sich im 2. Stock. Bei Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es etwas lauter werden könnte da sich die Diskothek im Keller befindet (Nacht von So auf Mo). Bis 2 Uhr morgens hörten wir die Musik durch das Gebäude und die Feiernden durch die schlecht isolierten Fenster. Vielleicht vorher abklären ob in der Nacht gefeiert wird denn Zimmer (Komfort/Ausstattung) und Hotel ansonsten gut.

This review is specific to our reservation cancellation experience versus our actual stay. We were traveling to Ireland from the US and booked this hotel through Expedia. My partner experienced a medical emergency on 3/12, we were scheduled to check into the hotel on 3/14. We contacted Expedia and were assured they would take care of everything and would make sure we would not be charged a cancellation fee. Needless to say, that was not the case. We were charged the complete cost of the stay!! According to the Expedia Representative, the hotel was unwilling to even consider just a one night cancellation fee. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone visiting nor would I consider any future stays in this hotel. In addition to dealing with a medical emergency, we were forced to pay for a hotel we never visited. We have literally been going back and forth with Expedia since our trip to try and reduce the charge and nothing!!!

Good location in the center of Kilkenny, walkable to everything. Parking garage is just up the street a minute walk away. The room was freezing and couldn’t get the space heaters to work because the front desk woman didn’t tell me that you have to put your room key card in some slot to get any electricity to work and then they still didn’t work. Another younger woman was very helpful and fixed the heat situation. This hotel had music pumping until 2am. After traveling all day this was the last thing we wanted to hear. If you want to party stay here. I won’t be back

Great location. Loved the live music. Breakfast was very good. The bath in the room was the smallest I’ve ever seen though so impossible to have a relaxing soak and the bed was a bit too hard. We both woke up with blocked noses so I think there was dust in the room.

Ok Guys, this is the best place to stay in Kilkenny. You can not get a better location, wonderful staff, great room, the food is lovely. You are only a 5 minutes from the Castle Kilkenny and Smithwicks. The shopping is only 100 steps away. The parking garage is across the street. The front desk lady was the best ever. Honestly, don't even think about it and book this hotel. Beautiful. I travel from South Carolina to Kilkenny Ireland and this was an amazing experience.
