The hotel is very conveniently located next to the Kassel/Wilhelmshoehe Hauptbahnhof, which had its price. The hotel was not air conditioned and I was there during the summer which meant that I had to leave the windows open during my stay (not particularly uncommon in Germany). However, there was considerable noise from trains, trams and traffic as a result. The room was comfortable, but the common areas in particular had a tired, worn look--sort of like a 1950s era YMCA. The hotel restaurant was only OK, as was the breakfast that came with the room.
