Sehr schön aber hellhörig!
Das Resort ist sehr schön angelegt, besonders von Vorteil Ist, dass man in alle Bereiche des Hotels kann, egal in welcher Kategorie man bucht. Wir haben im White Sand übernachtet, die Zimmer sind sehr schön (im Erdgeschoss etwas dunkel). Uns ist sehr negativ aufgefallen, dass es sehr hellhörig ist. Man hört alles aus dem Flur und bei lauten Nachbarn sogar die Gespräche nebenan, Was bei uns persönlich nicht zur Entspannung beigetragen hat (also nichts für geräuschempfindliche Personen). Ebenfalls sollte man beachten, dass das Hotel viel von partywütigen US Amerikanern besucht wird, besonders auffällig am schönsten Pool des TRS Bereiches (sehr sehr schade). Es läuft viel laute Musik und es wird getrunken. Sonst hat das Hotel aber sehr viel zu bieten unzählige Restaurants, Pools, Bars usw. Es verläuft sich sehr, wodurch es bei uns nicht überfüllt wirkte.

Durchwachsener Eindruck vom Grand Palladium WS
Wir waren im März 2018 im Grand Palladium White Sand. Eine schön gestaltete Anlage in Mitten von viel Natur. Zahlreiche Tiere laufen frei herum (Waschbären, Leguane) bzw. sind zu entdecken (Flamingos). Die Junior Suite mit Gartenblick ist geräumig und ausreichend groß, unser Zimmer war nicht renoviert. Die Duschabläufe stanken trotz mehrfacher Versuche der Handwerker kontinuierlich nach Fäkalien. Der große Pool im White Sand könnte öfter einmal gereinigt werden, es befand sich viel Sand, alte Blätter und sonstiger Kleinmüll auf dem Boden, der nicht entfernt wurde. Aufgrund der Ostwind-Situation wurden an den teilweise steinigen Strand große Mengen Algen angespült und leider nur einmal in 14 Tagen mittels Bagger entfernt. Die Algen stanken in der Sonne, daher war ein Strandbesuch leider kein Vergnügen. Von den zahlreichen, schönen Themenrestaurants waren leider pro Tag immer 2 Restaurants geschlossen, ein weiteres Themenrestaurant immer nur für Erwachsene geöffnet. Damit schränkten sich die Möglichkeiten mit 11jähriger Tochter ein. Obwohl man in den meisten Restaurants nicht reservieren brauchte, bekam man zügig einen Platz. In einigen Restaurants war es extrem heruntergekühlt, so dass wir teilweise gefroren haben. Das italienische Restaurant hatte eine schöne Außenterrasse, die aber leider oftmals durch große Gruppen geblockt wurde und den anderen Gästen nicht mehr zugänglich war. Die Anlage wirkt insgesamt nicht mehr auf dem aktuellen Stand und könnte renoviert werden.

Sadly the beaches were full of seaweed and no proper equipment to clear them. The employees tried but there was just too much, they needed skid steers, not rakes.. The lobby area had a disgusting raw sewage smell ...it was repulsive but nothing was done to ammend it. Its a shame because otherwise the resort was quite nice. I wouldn't go back to this particular resort. The TRS side was much better and even there the food was hit or miss.

I've stayed at nicer resorts, which probably skews my perspective. Overall the property is just way too huge, but it helps that they have carts that take you all over. Beach is not kept well, and we found the smell around the property repulsive because of the ponds/lakes all around. However, there were many pools that weren't too busy and the buffet was okay.

A very beautiful property! Air-conditioning was quite loud and fan bearings needed attention on air conditioner. This resort is huge, you have access to three resorts in one. So you need to take buses around or walk a fair bit as it’s easy to get lost at first. Service was hit or miss. We had someone with severe allergies. Most restaurants will walk you through what you can and can’t eat. However we had bad service at the Thai restaurant as the server wouldn’t even listen to us or allow us to order for our kids off the adult menu. And a couple other similar situations at other restaurants. But they made up for that with the impeccable medical service. My son got really sick so we called the doctor In the middle of the night. She came right away. Helped with insurance and then sent him to the hospital. A few hours later upon arrival back there was a employee waiting to check in on my son, and three more calls throughout the day from the front desk checking in on his health. Overall the resort is nice! The white sands is a little out dated and needs some maintenance then other resorts are very nice. Great experience for kids and families.

We went here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The food was good, the drinks were strong and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We did not want to leave at the end of the week. Only downside was the pool was cold but we still swam anyways.

The property was amazing and beautiful. Never saw a mess anywhere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food quality was mediocre, alot of flavor missing from alot of the mexican dishes which doesnt make sense considering location. Restaurants are reservation only and can only be reserved before 3pm so no spontaneous dinner plans after that. We were instructed to use the palladium app to reserve for dinner, which we were able to book and received a confirmation. Showed up at the restaurant for a 930pm reservation under this assumption and was told they couldnt take us at all (2 people) because we booked the reservation after 3pm, and sent us away without trying to accommodate us. This was at the brazilian steak house. Drinks were fairly inconsistent as well. Lobby had great espresso martinis but terrible mojitos. Pool had amazing mojitos and so forth. We had our rooms serviced and when we returned everything was fine. An hour or two would pass and we would be interrupted by a staff personally handing out small pieces of chocolates. On 1 of these occassion, the staff knocked and immediately entered the room before I could get out of the shower. On our last night something broke and water started dripping from our ceiling

Beautiful place, relaxing and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Water temperature at the beach is perfect, just bring water shoes because the sand is thick and there are rocks/corals.

This property was amazing! Thr staff was helpful and friendly. The travel club was not pushy. We declined a tour and that was it. No one asked again. It was a wonderful week at the white sands property.

We stayed in the Romance Bungalow which was a beautiful room off the water. The resort was quiet and clean and the food was very good by all-inclusive standards. I wpuld definitely return for another trip!

Hello I stood here for 5 nights the pools, food and bars where great. The rooms itself are ok, they have house keeping rooms in every building they start work early are very loud and disruptive, you cannot sleep in. The maintenance people are making noise at 5:30 Am in the morning you here metals banging an it sounds like furniture is being thrown and moved around. This is what ruined my stay. Also I was locked out of my room one night my access bracelets stopped working they took 1 hour to help me, the white sand lobby reception was unhelpful and the supervisor was to busy to help supposedly.
