Der allgemeine Zustand bis auf die schöne Lobby wirkt veraltet, Strand nicht zu gebrauchen (schmal, fällt stark ab und ist voll mit Seegras), Service ist bis auf ein paar Personen nachdem Trinkeld gegeben wurde, ungenügend! Alle Bars am Pool und Strand werden um Punkt 17:00 geschlossen obwohl noch die Sonne scheint, geht gar nicht man ist doch in den Ferien! Shop Kiosk mit massiv überteuerten Preisen. (1Pack Chips 8 US-Dollar). Würde nicht noch mal hierhin.

Schöner Aufenthalt in großzügigem Resort
Das Grand Palladium Kantenah ist Teil einer ausgedehnten, aus mehreren Hotels bestehenden Resortanlage. Schöne Anlage mit viel tropischem Grün und einem Mangrovendschungel mit Leguanen, Flamingos und, Krokodilen. Mehrere Hauptpools in Seegröße; kleinere Pools versteckt im Dschungel. Schöner Strand mit hellem feinen Sand aber zwei kleinen Schönheitsfehlern: Seegras, das unentwegt angeschwemmt und jedem Morgen mit dem Bagger leidlich entfernt wird, und kleine Sandflöhe oder Mücken. Gegen diese hilft jedoch Off und vor allem ein guter Wärmestift. Kein Schnorchelparadies, aber bei einigen Rifffelsen in Ufernähe doch nette Fischschwärme. Publikum typisch für All Inclusive-Resport, im Juli viele Familien und Gruppen aus USA, Südamerika und auch aus Mexico selbst. Deutsche und Europäer in der Minderheit. Am Pool Dauerbeschallung, manchmal mitreißend (feurige Salsa-Versionen von Popklassikern), manchmal nervig. Nettes Animationsteam mit unaufdringlichem Fitness- und Spielprogramm und heißen Beachparties. Am Strand gechillte Barfuß-Atmosphäre und Spaziergänge im Sonnenuntergang. In der Nähe Schildkröten-Brutstation; mit Glück sieht man sie ausschlüpfen. Essen in den Buffet-Restaurant ist prima. Nervig ist das Belegungssystem der (guten) Spezialitätenrestaurants; hier häufig lange Wartezeiten. Lage des Resorts prima zur Erkundung von Maya-Stätten und Cenotes mit dem Mietwagen. Insgesamt ein sehr erfreulicher Aufenthalt.

Schönes Hotel. Es fehlt an nichts
Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Mein Zimmer war leider ausgebucht. Deshalb habe ich ein anderes im Colonial bekommen. Die Zimmer sind ähnlich. Freunde waren im Kantanah untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind ähnlich. Leider bekamen wir jeden Tag zwei bis drei Anrufe ob es uns gut geht. Teilweise zu den unmöglichsten Zeiten (8 Uhr morgens) Die Barkeeper erwarten ein Trinkgeld. Sonst kann es mit den Getränken etc deutlich länger dauern. Teilweise haben wir diese gar nicht bekommen. Das Hotel war sehr sauber. Der Strand und das SPA waren schön. Einen Aufenthalt würde ich empfehlen.

Wunderschöne naturbelassene Anlage
Die grosse weitläufige Anlage ist in einem Naturpark eingebettet. Holzstege führen durch die Hotelanlage. Außerdem fahren Golfcars & kleine Touri-züge durch die Anlage. Eine grosse Auswahl von Restaurants bieten Abwechslung in der Abendgestaltung. Somit wird es nicht langweilig.

Dining options were good! Our room was clean and updated! We enjoyed the mini bar snacks and the glass bottles of water. Shuttle services inside the resort was good! Drinks at the bars were not amazing. Staff was mostly great! We saw a few inappropriate behaviors between some staff on a few different occasions. Check in was easy!

My husband, two teenagers and I had a wonderful vacation here!!! We stayed in the Family Selection part of the resort and our butlers Cesar and Luis were amazing and very helpful! I had a restorative Sports massage from Mayel and a half day at the Zentropia spa, hydrotherapy circuit and spa pool. Honestly all of the service and our interactions with staff was wonderful. Servers who stood out: Gerardo and Carlos. We had so much fun at the family club/dinner Bravo. Loved the beach, the pools, and our swim up room. We will be back!

Great family resort. We enjoyed every day and did not get bored. Lots of walking, lots to see. Pool area is large!!! Ocean was beautiful. Food options were great. Impressed with the main buffet selection. You do need to book dinner reservations but that was easy to do. Room service was great! Room was cleaned daily. We also received phone calls, were asked at the pool area and at lobby if there is anything they can do to improve our stay. We were always satisfied, no complains. Resort shuttles were amazing to get to dinners between the resorts. Definitely recommend and already dreaming of coming back with our family.

This is an incredible resort from the butler service, at Kentenah’s Family Selection, the premium drinks found in any of the 25 bars on the resort, great running routes, clean family beach, many pool options, attentive waitstaff, great food options from buffets to a la carts restaurants, the candy wall, fresh crepes at any meal, to the jungle feel with all the green plants and animals on the grounds. It was the perfect vacation for our family of 4. Can’t wait to return again in the future!

We had an amazing time ! We have been to palladium many times in the past but this time was by far the best! Family selection in Kantenah is much better for my family. It was a surprise to have butlers to help with everything especially Eduardo. Check in and check out was super simple. Rooms were beautiful and clean. The food was GREAT!! The property was amazing as were our butlers. Betty the manager was hands down the nicest and most caring and helpful while we dealt with an issue with an excursion we took. I would stay here again and again. Beautiful resort!!!

The property is fantastic. Lots of activities at all times of the day. Theater shows, festival, poolside fitness classes, always something going on. Kids club was a nice addition. They had all sorts of fun things to do which allows parents to take a moment for themselves. The staff were great with the kids. They really enjoyed it, The restaurants were excellent. Buffet is good, but the a la carte were wonderful. The cleaning staff seems to be lacking however. There were several days where the room was not cleaned. No water was provided. Called and asked guest services, still no water was brought. There also seems to be a shortage of towels. No towels brought to the room when they did clean. Hard to get towels by the pool. Any extras seem overly expensive. Spa services cost way more than normal pricing in US. Massage also costs more than going to a registered therapist at home…. Too bad. Costs in the gift shop…. $30 for sunscreen is robbery. As is $16 for bug spray. Better bring it from home and not run out while you’re there. They would probably sell more items and spa services if the costs weren’t so high.

This resort is amazing. Large with lots to do but everything still feels close. The beach is beautiful, palm trees for shade, the water is shallow and we saw plenty of angel fish a few feet in. There is free kayaking which was a nice surprise. We stayed in a swim up room and never used the pool but it was fairly warm water. We had butlers who were awesome Erick & Eduardo, they made us feel at home and helped us book dinner reservations ect. I have been to Mexico many times and this is by far my favourite location. Food is great, the grounds are pristine, and there is always something for the kids to do. We spent some time at the family pool and the service was always fantastic! 5 stars

Holiday stay
Typical all-inclusive - have to get up a bit early to get decent chairs by the pool. Some of the advertised restaurants were not open. Upon arrival we were told that we could not get a dinner reservation outside of the buffet for 2 days, and on one night not until 9:30 PM. You can only make these reservations with the concierge, so not an efficient system and not enough capacity. The buffet was decent but repetitive. We were there for a New Years Party on the beach which was extremely well done and fun. It was quite well attended and the music was great.

1) The room key was not working for us for the entire stay and we had to wait 20-25 mins every time we had to unlock the door with the assistance from the concierge. 2) Room service - The room was not replenished for snacks and soft drinks in spite of multiple requests. Room service did not clean the room during our stay ( 1 of the rooms as we had booked 2 rooms). 3) They have a marketing program which tries to sell travel club membership to unsuspecting guests. They request for one hour of your time but they end up using 3 hrs of your time and try to pressurize in to buying their product. 4) The property is a controlled environment especially if you want to eat outside the property. You will need to travel atleast 20 miles to be able to get food.

We loved the pool areas, the staff was very nice and accomodating. We did not get to enjoy anytime at the beach because of the rough waters & extreme amounts od seaweed. My biggest complaint would be with the food - the Brazilian restaurant is TERRIBLE, the Seafood restaurant was DELICIOUS, the ambiance is AMAZING but difficult to enjoy because of all of the raccoons. They hopped on tables, returned each time the staff attemped to shoo them away.
