Air conidition does not work on 3rd floor!!!!
I want to give this a great review because the space was perfect for what we were looking for: large space to accomodate our group & great location to get most places within 15 minutes. That said, it was hot the day we checked in and the lady at The Beast mentioned one of the window air units was kind of "on the fritz" & to please let her know if issues. Well we get to the location while another gal met us there to walk through things & it's 80+ degrees in there. She said she was going to make a call about it. Well we were headed to the baseball game and out for the night almost immediately so just assumed it was handled. Well we came home that night and the temp was worse in there. The sleep was terrible!! Only 1 of the 3 air units was working properly and that was the one in the bedroom so it was the only cool space. The next day I contacted Monty through the VRBO app and called the number that was listed. Monty didn't respond for 2 hours but I reached someone via phone. Told them we needed someone to come check out the air or get us a fan or something. Waited nearly 2 hours and nobody came... contacted Monty again saying they must be lost because nobody had showed up. Shortly after a young man comes up the elevator with one of those swamp cooler type fans. It helped but it wasn't the best, probably got the temp down to 77 in there. We were lucky it was only 84 that day instead of the 99 that was forecasted. What could have been a great stay was poor at best.

Excellent for a guys weekend.
I had my bachelor party here. Loved having the large open space for everyone to spread out. Location was a great spot to get to downtown from. All of the beds were comfortable. It was clean and had the essentials in the kitchen. A great experience.

Very interesting place
Was a great time, interesting place in the KC downtown. We had booked for 12, had 9 stay. A lot for 2 bathrooms, but managed ok. Was a little noisy being below another property. Was a great trip and we had all our evening meals delivered with no issues. Fun time.

Great stay, rustic and spacious!
We reached out and were able to get in within a few minutes of arrival though it took a few tries to get ahold of them. But that was no problem. Place was set up and clean. Had everything we needed! Checkout was simple as well. Went great as we were able to be loud and have fun. Ubering to most places only took a bit. If it wasn't so cold could have been a nice walk

Best Bachelor Party Home Base in Town
We used this space for my bachelor party and it was perfect. The entire space is an open floor concept so everyone in your group feels connected. There were 15 of us in my group and it couldn’t have been better set up. Also super close to P&L district for those wanting to hit up the bars in the evening. Would highly recommend.

A stay from hell
After calling VRBO to get a phone number to contact the management company I was able to check in. They will not give you any information prior to check in. They do not provide any heads up that you will have to visit another location to get the keys and then drive back to the VRBO to get a quick tour. I was hoping this would be the only problem. Then once we got settled we were able to hear the group in the unit above us all night. Screaming, yelling, sounds of a bowling ball, playing on the loud elevator, the other guest trying to access our room from the elevator. This went on until 3 am. We tried on multiple occasions to get anyone out to deal with the rowdy guests but they were extremely unresponsive. I have never been so disappointed. This listing needs to be reported for not following the basic access rules of VRBO and not managing the location in a timely manner.

KC Bachelor Party
This was a great venue for our 13 member bachelor party; also, the property managers were very responsive. It provided ample space and bedding for everyone, with plenty of space that the pictures don’t quite capture. On the weekends there are street vendors and small boutique shops open that are near the stay, which we didn’t have time to enjoy. It’s a short Uber/Lyft ride to numerous locations (e.g. KC Live, Crossroads area).

Getting checked in was rough but the stay was good
Terrible to reach the owner. Didn't know we were coming the day of. Once we reached him and got in the stay was good. It was annoying that we had 11 people and 1 access card, but it looked as advertised and it was fun to stay in.

It’s ok
First off I was never told of the check in process. Then had to ask people around the area for contact info to check in. They arrived and asked about what listing we had. Was told no one else is there so she would put us on the 4th floor instead of the 3rd. The next day another group arrived and was lied to about why they were moved to the 3rd floor. That to me is very unprofessional. So since we were switched, this review is of the 4th floor, but after speaking to our down stairs neighbor, most of these pertain to both. The place wasn’t cleaned very well, but was decent. There was some nail heads sticking up out of the floor and a few nails in the columns that were random and cannot see them well. If you have others staying in the building, you can hear everything going on through the floors, even light coming through between boards and the walls. The place was stocked with everything you needed for a great weekend. Plenty of floor space for air mattresses if needed. The neighbor hood isn’t the best. A lot of random cars driving by slowly or homeless people walking around checking everything out. Recommendation would be to look for something else if you can, but is a decent option if there is nothing else.

Samuel, I greatly apologize that your stay was not to your expectations. We pride ourselves on keeping things clean and well maintained, so I will definitely be speaking to the staff on the items that you have pointed out to me. As for moving you, I believe that it was explained that the site had the wrong pictures posted and we wanted to make sure that you got the Air BnB with the pool table that you saw the pictures for, this was the purpose for moving you. Part of the charm of our Air BnB's is they are in Historical Buildings hence being able to hear everything and possibly seeing some light through some baseboards (which I will have our crew look into). We want to thank you for staying with us and hope in the future you would give us another try.

Bachelorette party fun — early check in not good
This loft is amazing and it’s just as pictured. Our bachelorette party loved the space and the look and the location is perfect in downtown KC. However, I made an itinerary around the entire day based on the 11 am check in time that Monty suggested, and I confirmed the time multiple times before the day of. When I arrived and called the property manager, he told me that I was wrong and check in wasn’t until 3, when I tried to call Monty he didn’t respond. Until I screenshotted the messages that he had sent me to prove myself (which I shouldn’t have even had to do), did they jump into action and get to work on prepping the space. I don’t think there was communication between the manager and the person who messaged on the listing. They did hurry up the check in process, which was nice. But our girls all had traveled to get to KC, so we were hanging out waiting for an hour and a half and I was not able to prep the space for our party before the bachelorette got there (which I had put a lot of dollars into) so that was a very stressful beginning. Once we got in the building, the stay was great.

Great, Spacious Loft
The loft is just how it is advertised. Very open and in a great location. The only downside is the train track about 150 feet from the building and the sound of trains threw the night. With that being said, I would still stay here again. Great service, especially for out-of-towners!
