„Super schöne Lage (hatten Unterkunft direkt am Ozean), grosszügige Raumgestaltung. Schade gab es keinen direkten Zugang um im Ozean zu schnorcheln. Aufpreis für Klimaanlage finden wir für eine solche Unterkunft und in dieser Klimazone übertrieben. Auch die sehr hohe Reinigungspauschale ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Für uns sind dies versteckte Kosten, welche eigentlich im offiziellen Preis enthalten sein sollten (würde aber natürlich Kundschaft abschrecken).“

„Die Unterkunft ist zentral und das Zimmer schön mit genügend Platz, einer Küche und Waschmaschinen und Tumbler. Etwas staubig und die Handtücher zum Teil nicht gut gewaschen. Ausserdem gibt es keinen Zimmerservice, was man von einem 3-Sterne-Hotel erwarten dürfte (wir haben es bei der Buchung übersehen).“

„Great condo not far from town. Nice pool with hot tub, very clean. This unit was truly ocean front with large lanai and access from the bedroom or living area. Pretty quiet laid-back area, nice tide pools out front. Bring your reef shoes! We would stay at the Kona Bali Kai again.“

„Wonderful condo on the ocean. You fall asleep listening to the waves. Condo has everything you need: comfy beds, full kitchen, beautiful lanai to sit on. Did we mention the million dollar view? We saw whales a bunch of times in the distance. Great home base. Must do's: Volcanoes National Park; night snorkel with Manta Rays; Hawaii Botanical Gardens; Black Sand Beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.“

„Condo was beautiful! Beach was right out the lani window. Gorgeous view! Surfers, tidepools to enjoy, excursion boats going by. Shopping just down the street. Condo had just about everything we would need; i kicked myself for packing so much. Holly surprised us with some treats in the kitchen to enjoy! The property was very clean and well equipped for our needs. There were welcome gifts of local beer and snacks! We enjoyed Kona coffee provided as well. „They recently instituted pool rules that state no yelling and no flotation devices. Children who play in the pool occasionally yell as part of their playtime. Our granddaughter at 5 months old had a flotation device that allowed her to safely sit and have protection from the sun while enjoying the water. Now according to their new rules, this isn't allowed. So buyer beware.“

„This VRBO was exceptional clean. The views were exceptional. We all enjoyed watching the surfers - and they definitely were very good. the waves were 10 to 20 feet at times. We were on the beach next door a lot. We enjoyed the two bedrooms and the full kitchen. Couldn't quite figure how to operate the tv but that was OK since it made us get outside and enjoy the area. Restaurants downtown are all within walking distance and the are realy exceptional. very friendly area.“

„Large apartment and basically nice facility. Apartment had only one queen bed, although we had booked a king bed. There was no air conditioning available. So we had to sleep at about 30 degrees Celcius (90 degrees Fahrenheit), which was anything but relaxing. So these were the 4 worst nights on our 4 week Hawaii trip.
