exceptional state of the art hotel
Perfect hotel Service is excellent , especially the concierge was state of the art, best I have meet so far. Knowledgeable, gives you real local Insider tips. SPA incl coiffure exceptional Restaurant on S level and Pool incl Bar outstanding. Room was very spacious, view fantastic. Overall it was difficult too leave after 5 days.

My wife and myself enjoyed the stay in Fairmont very much. Staff was every day at every time always friendly, polite and helpful. The Concierge gave us very good information for shopping but also culture things to see. If we would complain then only the housekeeping. She forgot twice to fill up the room with amanities and toilet paper. But this is complaining on a very high level. We definitely look forward to coming back to Istanbul and Fairmont

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir konnten unsere Zimmer auch bereits vor der regulären check in Zeit beziehen und konnten auch ganz problemlos einen late check out bekommen. Die Zimmere sind komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Housekeeping war unauffällig kompetent. Wir konnten jeden Tag das Frühstücksbuffet geniessen, das wirklich kaum einen Wunsch offen lies und auch Extras, wie Kakao im mitgebrachten Fläschchen, handwarm ohne große Mühen serviert wurde. Auch der Barkeeper verdient ein Lob, wirklich gut gemixte Cocktails!

Zurzeit vermutlich das beste Hotel in Istanbul
Waren schon in verschiedenen Hotels auf der europäischen und der asiatischen Seite in Istanbul, doch das Fairmont Quasar ist mit Abstand unser neues Liebelingshotel. Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Presonal, tolle Zimmer mit fabelhaften Betten,sehr schöner Wellnessbereich, günstige Lage und eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Wir waren zu viert (mit KIndern) dort und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen, was einer Erwähnung bedarf.

The Fairmont Istanbul was nice, but it was lacking the service and attention to detail found at other Fairmonts. When we arrived our luggage was taken and never showed up to our room for over 2 hours, multiple calls to have it resolved, because of the time change and jet lag it was a little annoying when we juts wanted to shower and head to bed. The TV system in the room would not work it would go off or screen would go black, the Maintenance staff tried to fix it and were friendly. The room was well laid about and the view spectacular, the iron leaked all over, and needed an extension cord as the main plug for it had a previous plug stuck in it, which could be fixed ? Room service was good, but the dining option otherwise for casual dining were not existent only a Michelin Star venue, and since the Hotel is further out of the old city, some guests might feel apprehensive on venturing out to dine without getting to know the area first. The gold level lounge was a nice perk but strange hours and food combinations. My son travelling with me age 10 found that unlike previous Fairmonts there was no attention for kids or acknowledgement, Rosewood properties seem to be doing this better lately. Over all nice hotel, not sure I’d stay in the Istanbul one next time visiting though.

I didn’t like everything about the hotel. In room dining was too bad. They charged for bread and banana!!! The portion compared to the price is very little. I was sick and ordered certain type of food. The plates smelled like egg. And i told them, they took it and didn’t bring a replacement for my order. House keeping is very slow. You need to call 4 or 5 times for house keeping to come and clean the room. They don’t refill the shampoo in the bathroom. The don’t refill the bathroom amenities The room was very small. The taxi service like if you need to order a taxi. It takes a lot of time and you need to be downstairs you can’t order from your room and come downstairs once the taxi is here. Staff are very rude. Specially the one who checked me in the hotel. All the staff very rude even the ones brings the in room dining. I don’t recommend this hotel

Exceptional staff, rooms, security, chef and meals. The gym is better than my local office gym ! Quiet and very safe. Istanbul’s traffic is hell but the team at fairmont helped us get anywhere easily in comfort and arranged our boat trips and restaurants perfectly
