Wir hatten das Hostel für 3 Nächte gebucht ( ein Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad). Das Zimmer ist ganz süß aber steht im keinen Verhältnis zum Preis. Das Bad war am Morgen immer dreckig ( nicht gespült, viele Haare in der Dusche etc.) das war dann ein wenig eklig. Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig und man versteht jedes Wort seines Zimmernachbarn. Ebenfalls ist insbesondere am Wochenende laute Musik bis 2 Uhr in der Nacht. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Schönes Hotel, zentral. Aber überteuert. Frühstück war eigentlich inklusive, man hat uns eine Karte gegeben, Frühstück ausgewählt, dann doch berechnet, unser Frühstück wäre nicht inklusive, dafür gäbe es eine Extra Karte die man uns nicht gezeigt hat. die Liegen am Pool muss man sogar als Hotelgast noch einmal separat bezahlen, zehn Dollar pro Tag. Ich hatte eine verdammt schöne Zeit. Die Unterkunft hatte tolle Aktivitäten wie morgens das Yoga oder abends die Partys.

Diebstahl durch Personal, kaum Reinigung der Zimmer, Management unerreichbar bei Problemen, keine Ansprechpartner. Höhepunkt war der Diebstahl meiner Bose Kopfhörer, durch Personal da nur die ausser mir in dem Zimmer waren. Mein Einzelzimer (mit eigenem Bad) wurde nach 3 Tagen einmal gefegt nachdem ich erst darum Bitten musste. Ich hatte nie Tageslicht da einige Zimmer auf eine dubkle Wand schauen. Es ist extrem Hellhörig, man hört mehrere Leute gleichzeitig beim Geschlechtsverkehr, Musik hören oder auch wenn man sich nornal unterhält - man hört alles. Management ist nicht aufgetaucht nachdem ich den Diebstahl gemeldet habe und die Rezeption hat es auch nicht interessiert. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, da es gescglossen wurde, nicht etwa wegen Renovierung. Keiner weis was dahinter steckt aber aus der Kpche die eigentlich geswtzlich geschlossen wurde wird fleissig Frühstück verteilt. Sucht euch was anderes wenn ihr ein Einzelzimmer wollt. Selinas ist dafür viel zu teuer und viel zu schlecht.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Kommentare, aber wie Sie auf unseren Bändern gesehen haben, hat niemand Ihr Zimmer betreten und Sie haben mehr Ideen, wie jemand in Ihr Zimmer (in einer oberen Etage) gelangen würde. Es tut mir leid, dass Sie dachten, unser Management sei unzulänglich und Ihre Frustration hat Sie dazu gebracht, dies mit uns in Verbindung zu bringen

Fast perfekt
Unser Aufenthalt war nahezu perfekt. Die Lage ist ideal um fußläufig vom/ zum Hafen zu kommen und auch den wunderschönen North Beach zu besuchen. Die umliegenden Restaurants sind ebenfalls sehr einladend. Der Chill-out Bereich des Selina Poc Na mit Hängematten und Pool ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet und genau das Richtige um die Mittagssonne im Schatten zu überbrücken. Punktabzug gibt es für unsere erste Nacht: es gibt (soweit ich es einschätze 3 Zimmer am hinteren Ende der Anlage), die absolut nicht dem entsprechend, was die Buchungsseiten suggerieren. (Schlechtes Raumklima-feuchte Mauerwände) Das Personal kam jedoch unserem Wunsch um Tausch des Zimmers am nächsten Morgen nach. Das ‚richtige‘ Zimmer hat uns dann endgültig wohlfühlen lassen.

Worst part was between 10pm and 6am when sleeping was not possible. This is a night club with rooms! Not a hotel, let alone suitable for families. We booked the “family room” and I’m so exhausted after three nights of being kept awake all night with the party. The pool was a glorified foot wash station. You couldn’t see your leg while in the pool let alone the bottom. It was disgusting. They said they couldn’t call us a taxi upon check out. As they didn’t have a phone.

We stayed in a suite which was quite rustic but with a good ocean vibe. Could use a few repairs around the shower and sofa steam cleaned. The kitchenette was a great surprise. The little fridge did an awesome job keeping the sodas cold. They could offer more free water than just the first day. Overall, was a wonderfully pleasant place, excellent location to beach and restaurants. Would stay there again!

I was hesitant to book because of other reviews but I was extremely surprised by how cute the place is. It was clean and staff very welcoming. Plus it has everything you need within the property and outside. The location is perfect and I wish I would have stayed longer.

Uma estadia mediana. Tudo no hotel é repleto de regras e burocracias que quebram a vibe. Pagamos por um quarto privado e ele é simplesmente minúsculo como uma caixa de fósforo. As fotos aqui não condizem. Mas a área comum do hotel é muito boa, localização também. O café da manhã com poucas opções, os drinks do bar foram bons. Deixo aqui também um elogio à aula de yoga matinal, que foi maravilhosa!

I tried contacting the property for check in/app issues and did not receive a response until the night of my first stay. I tried several times to contact Selina through the application chat, e-mail and phone calls and was unable to get through. The room that was assigned to me was absolutely not what was advertised. The room was extremely humid and damp there was a water leak in n The washroom leaving a puddle of water. For 2 days there was no water supply. I had to Leave to the airport not being able to shower after the beach . For an unjustifiable $265 a night ;(((

They changed my standard room without a notice when I checked in thats when I was told and when I talked to the girl in the from about it she didn’t pay much attention I paid for standard so I didn’t have to share restrooms that really upset me! But besides that it was good

Great stay I just didn’t like that they didn’t have clean towels disposable. I didn’t have anyone come clean my room per my request so I asked the front desk for clean towels and they said they were out. The room was clean but you could smell the sewage.

Excellent value for the price and an unbeatable location, pretty close to north beach, restaurants and shops. We faced booking issues, we booked a room that’s was not available, the hotel recommends using their website and blamed the booking platform. Cleanliness, particularly in bathrooms, needs improvement. Thin walls in rooms affect privacy. Despite being oceanfront, beach access is restricted, and swimming is not permitted. The kitchen is decent but would benefit from better utensils, appliances, and improved fridge cleanliness. We enjoyed complimentary morning yoga, they also offer engaging activities like dance lessons and arts and crafts—definitely a perk. However, be aware of loud weekend parties near the restaurant area, affecting the peace of nearby rooms. If noise is a concern, consider requesting a quieter room away from the party zone.

Left without even staying one night. My bunk was not safe 19 C - ladder unsafe. Bunk like a tomb-a fan only poor working A/C in next room and 7 guys with one old lady! The manager could have given me a lower bunk, but obviously felt stigmatized due to my older age. No orientation so was in a lower bunk then had to move out. I tried to talk to Expedia, no way to do it from Mexico. This is the last Selina from Expedia. Like Selina, but this room and bunk was very unsafe. I am active at 66 but felt not welcome- It was so hot and tomb like. Sincerely I am out 356 USD for other places to stay plus the three nights at Selna !!!

This hostel was very poor and below average. Our room was dirty with filthy floors and the drain had a terrible smell filling the entire room. You should note there is a club here which went until 3am every morning with thumping base so we got next to no sleep. If you are looking for a party, you should stay somewhere else and then go to the hostel for the party - otherwise you will spend your whole time in Isle with no sleep.
