Very nice hotel in great location right opposite of the zoo. We had a double room with diamond head view and balcony (no ocean view) in floor 16 which was quiet. Only the AC outside units have been loud and a bit annoying when being outside. The room was clean and well maintained. The door had a gap to the floor so you could hear a bit the noise from the corridor. The pool was very tiny - I think not even 10m in length - so we did not use it at all. No kettle/coffeemaker is provided in the room but a kettle was put into our room after request. But no cups. One of the three elevators was out of order, so during peak times be prepared to wait. Roomservice is provided daily.

I love this Place. It is in Waikiki but it is quit and a breathtaking view. The food is delicious the pancakes are the best.

We are from the Waikiki area but this is the first time I've stayed at the Queen Kap. I get coffee in their lobby all the time when I come to town. I was there with my elderly father to bring him back to the island one last time to relive and revisit his childhood memories. The hotel was a perfect location for us because he grew up in Kaimuki neighborhood. I was able to arrange an electric scooter that allow him to get around the property and the area. In and out valet parking was great, easy, fast and convenient and everyone showed me and my dad the old school Aloha Spirit we used to know. ALL the staff were kind, professional, responsive and caring. The property amenities were great. Our ADA equipped room was clean and easy for my dad to use. We could pull his scooter in and out several times a day to go out for walks and get in and out of the hotel very easily. We have zero complaints.

Loved our stay here! Check in process was quick and easy. We enjoyed the welcome drinks. We encountered some issues with our room during the first few days but after speaking to the front desk they resolved the issue. Great customer service, they were helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Brunch was great at the Deck restaurant. Loved the view of Diamonhead from the restaurant and pool. Lots of paid/free parking around the hotel. Hotel was easily accessible to and from everywhere we needed to go.

I love this hotel! I’ve stayed here at least a half dozen times over the past few years and it is consistently LOVELY. Excellent customer service, clean rooms, nice amenities, great dining (Deck is awesome and their brunch is delicious). Queen Kapiolani is a 10/10 every time. An older hotel but very well maintained and has a lovely aesthetic.

I liked the restaurant. Great staff and bartenders there. The valet was kinda weird, never met a valet who didn’t welcome guests or want to move our car into the valet. My reservation included valet parking, but the valet suggested us to use public parking??? So we had to update our payment for public parking by the zoo every 4 hours. Very inconvenient and unprofessional, I probably won’t be staying here again.

The staff here was great, we got there at 2pm and our room was ready. We were upgraded, unfortunately, our room was right next to the elevators so we heard the elevators every time it was called and it was quite loud. Otherwise everything was great, loved the water bottles they gave us. Room is a bit small but we weren't in the room too much. With the room upgrade we did get an little outdoor space and view though we weren't there long enough to enjoy it too much.

We booked this room online for 3 adults. The front desk person assigned a snall room adjacent to the elevator without notifying us of the constant noise all night long.
