War 8 Nächte im Hotel, die Lage ist ok man ist in 15 minunten an der nächsten U Bahn halte stelle nicht mit drin aber für mich war das Perfekt und die Lage ist ja auch nicht schleicht. Ich hatte ein Zimmer direkt mit Blick auf die Ferderennbahn das war schon toll. Sonst war alles gut nicht das Moderenste Hotel aber alles up to date. Würde ich wieder buchen.

Das Hotel wurde Anfang Februar 2024 besucht. Es wurden 2 Zimmer gebucht. Das Personal am Check in war kurz angebunden und wenig freundlich. Es wurden ein teureres Zimmer mit Bergblick gebucht um die mit Plastik beklebten Fenster ohne Aussicht zu vermeiden. Bei der Begutachtung der beiden Zimmer ist folgendes aufgefallen , dass Hotel hat in jedem Stockwerk ein behelfsmäßiges Zimmer hinter den 3 Aufzügen eingerichtet. Das Zimmer besaß zwar einen Blick nach draußen war jedoch kleiner als die regulären Zimmer. Weiterhin konnte jede Aufzugsfahrt wegen der oben beschrieben Lage vernommen werden. Eine erholsame Nacht war so nicht gegeben. Insgesamt ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

Ich fand das Angebot eines kostenlosen Shuttles zum Convention Center und zur Central Station super. Das Zimmer war sauber und in gutem Zustand. (Etwas hellhörig zum Flur hin). Positiv war ebenfalls das Vorhandensein eines Bügeleisens. Einen Trinkwasserspender, wo man seine Flaschen nachfüllen konnte, gab es auf dem Flur. Sehr nett fand ich die zur Verfügung gestellte Flasche zum Wasser zapfen auf dem Zimmer. Die Flasche gab es leihweise, konnte aber auch käuflich erworben werden. Time Square ist in 10 Min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das einzige was ich zu bemeckern habe, ist die Reservierung des Rechnungsbetrags auf der Kreditkarte, obwohl ich eine Stornierungsfrist bis kurz vor dem Check-in hatte.

Warning - Bad experience with payment policy
The stay was ok and it was not my first stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean, the frozen windows are annoying. However what really freaked me out is the hotels policy to reserve the expected full roomcharge total (for the entire stay) on my credit card for my nextbstay weeks before checkin and also weeks before cancellation deadline (!) Without my permission and despite pay later option chosen. This for me is a problem as shortens the expenses limit on the card by 1.000 EUR so I currently cannot dispose over my card anymore. Hotel refuses to reverse the blocking on the card. Hotels.com cannot provide any support on this problem as apparently thebhave no agreement on policies with the hotel(s). For me a no go and really inacceptable service

Nichts weltbewegendes aber kann man machen
Ich war mit meinen 6 Monate alten Baby dort und mir wurde ein Baby Bett zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Zimmer war sehr staubig und die Badematte hatte Schimmel Flecke. Housekeeping kam erst nach Aufforderung. Es gibt ein Waschraum wo man seine Wäsche sehr günstig waschen und trocknen konnte (selbst Service wohl bemerkt) Das Frühstück war gut, nichts weltbewegendes aber hatte von allen etwas und das Restaurant Personal war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und Baby freundlich. Zum Times Square läuft man 10-15 Minuten, ansonsten gab es auch einen Shuttle Bus Service zum AirPort Express (IFC), Wanchai Oder Causewaybay. Ich bin allgemein zufrieden, aber raubt einem nicht den Atem.

Great Service!
Our stay at the Dorsett Hotel was very good. We got a nice room with a great view. But the best part at this hotel was the service. They are always very helpful and friendly. My girlfriend was feeling very bad, because of pain. We ask for help, because we didnt know how to find a good hospital for tourists. Joyce from the checkincounter was very helpful, she was helping us to find a very good hospital! Thank you so much Joyce!

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich, die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber perfekt sauber und gut eingerichtet. Gute Matratzen und großes breites King-size Bett. In den oberen Etagen nicht so laut, würde daher eher oben die Grand Zimmer empfehlen, da das Hotel an einer Hauptstraße liegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet fanden wir nicht so empfehlenswert. Sehr hektisch, Essen mehr Mittag als Frühstücksbrunch. Sonst das Hotel alles bestens und empfehlenswert. Gute Lage.

We were disappointed in our recent stay at the Dorsett Wanchai Hotel. While the reception desk workers were okay, the boys working in the lobby were helpful, as was the cleaning lady. However, the negative experience came from the service attendant. She finally arrived after two requests, an hour later, with a dirty pillow covered in saliva marks in one hand and a separate pillowcase in the other, meaning we had to cover the pillow ourselves.The city view was another surprise that made us uncomfortable; they had never mentioned the rundown and dirty cemetery next to the hotel. Out of the four rooms we rented, only one faced the horse racing track as requested, which was particularly disappointing on the frequent rainy days in Hong Kong, making the window view even worse.The hotel restaurant only opens until 10:30 am every morning. If you miss this time, you won't find any food to eat around the hotel area. The hotel shuttle was the only convenient facility that deserves praise among the hotel's amenities.

1st floor women’s washroom was terrible as the toilet was difficult to flush. Main lobby has very old and dirty furniture. Breakfast selections were limited. Staff were super friendly. Shampoo and conditioner not usable. Slippers were poor condition

This hotel was okay. It was easily navigable with Uber. Our room came with breakfast and it was alright. The room felt a little cramped, but otherwise a nice stay!
