„Had great stay, it was our first trip to Roatan and West Bay did not disappoint! Coral Sands is the perfect location with easy walking to the snorkeling reefs and lots of restaurant choices. Anita arranged for a taxi service to pick up from airport and stop at the main grocery store. I highly recommend as the mini-marts in West Bay are a lot smaller with not as much fresh produce/meats. „The area was rustic but very well maintained. The condo was comfortable and clean, it was nice to have a cool and quiet place to sleep, not the resort vibe. If issues arise they are resolved in a reasonable amount of time. The swim out to the reef for snorkeling is for a very strong swimmer, but the water is bathtub warm. „The property is wonderful. The best part is the location. It is at the very east end of West Bay. Directly on the water with a perfect small bay for relaxing in the calm ocean water with a drink in hand. It’s a short 5 minute beach walk to all the restaurants and nightlife of West Bay but you can stay away from the beach crowds that come in daily of the cruise ships if you choose. Filtered water supply and on on-site generator were tremendous. No need for bottled water and generator took over seamlessly during area power outages. Parking on site was excellent.“

The property managers set up a shuttle to pick us up at the airport and also to the grocery store before heading to the house. „Only negative, but a big one: misleading posting of three bedrooms with one king bed, two queen beds, two twin beds, love seat futon and a couch futon. Everything correct except the twin beds were actually mats on the floor! Which would have been fine for young kids; but, they were very uncomfortable for adults.“

„Travis and Trish had a beautiful place up in the hill looking at the ocean, the place is quiet, the room was perfect for our long stay, the pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. We walked almost everyday to Luna beach and from there to West Bay or the west end. We loved our stay here. The owners were very helpful and understanding, the gave us rides when needed and accommodated us. We definitely will stay here again.“

But it has a security guard 24/7 and the beach is at a walking distance of a mile away. There is an extra charge for the use of energy which is proportional to your usage and It had a very responsive agent. “
