„Interesting traditional inn but modern facilities. Staff guide you around the property, which is quite unusual when you're used to staying in standars hotels. Staff have varying levels of English but thanks to Google translate it didn't cause any problems. Slight miscommunication about our check out time, but it was resolved and we found our way out of the hotel(!)“

„The hotel is very centrally located and relative close to the Kenroku-en gardens, the main reason we booked this hotel. The staff is very friendly, and though quite limited in their knowledge of english, they did all their best to help us and we always ended with a solution. The room (twin bed non-smoker) was quite big compared to Japan standards, and perfectly clean and airy. A couple of shopping malls with restaurants, as well a Starbucks and a "Vie de France" are within 1 min walk from the ...
