Helper Stay
This charming motel is nestled just off the highway. It’s in remarkably good shape for an old property. The beds aren’t the greatest and my mattress seemed crooked. It’s pretty rustic in that the heat source is an industrial space heater with an electric fireplace for ambiance. If you need an inexpensive place to stay it’s great. Do bring earplugs unless you're used to being woken up by the sound of trains at 3 AM. The last sentence has zero reflection of the property, just a warning and to be clear, I would stay there again. It is super clean, could be a sweet little boutique motel with a few minor adjustments.

Warm room, soft beds, Hot showers. Good customer service, polite, nice attendant. Some bugs on the ceiling, but didnt bother us. Beats camping. Thank you so much.

Cheap, but dismal.
Note the mixed reviews, which may have to do with exactly which room someone had and how much they appreciated the taco truck in the parking lot. My room was completely run down -- bedroom window fell out of the frame when I tried to open it, electrical outlet was loose, everything is worn, stained and dented. Dead insects all over the floor and windowsill. Check-in was slow and confused. Wifi worked and bed was OK. Didn't feel unsafe.

The room was clean, and it was nice to have a kitchen. Loved the quaintness of the hotel and its outside amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Although booked through Expedia they had no booking on their system but did prepare a room for us. Whole parking area and outside some rooms were a mess nothing like any photos on websites. Bedding, towels etc were clean and bed very comfortable. Great location for a stroll into the great little town of helper

It seems like they may have been apartments? Train tracks are nearby, scared our grand daughter when train came through. Its a last min reservation i made for a trip to SLC. Better to be safe then to fall asleep on the road or park off the road somewhere. Its not the hilton but served us fine.

Facility needs to be upgraded. I would believe what we paid, and what we would get! At least, the floor in the bedroom was cleaned. Temperature in room was good and comfortable in this cold weather. Some noise from the local train could be heard but not for long. I guess it was because we arrived site late and left very early in the morning for Moab... ect. The beds were ok to sleep on. Staff were very nice. Especially the little boy who was very pleasant and sweet in receiving us in the parking lot. I liked the fridge. It really kept our foods fresh for the next day journey. Staff good attitude sure make you feel very welcomed regardless.

Riverside Motel
A cute little old-fashioned classic motel with really friendly management and they’re fixing up the parking lot right now so that it will be much improved soon. The rooms are also all being reworked. It was a nice comfortable stay for my wife and myself. We will be back.

Low cost, not modernized.
There was a lot of construction going on and there was what looked like more permanent residents in part of the motel with their personal effects outside like barbecues, equipment, etc.

Maybe find something else.
Wow, and not in a good way. The service is as fine, but we pulled in late at night and were shocked at how run down it was. I should have expected it, given the price, but there was nothing else around. Definitely better than nothing, but would not do it again.

Good value, small town
The hotel was clearly under renovation as my room did not have a trash can (an oversight?). The newly redone parts of the room were quite nice, including the bathroom. Loved the in-room fireplace. The downside to this hotel is that it is near the railroad tracks and the train came through town several times during the night - it was loud! Good value for the money paid.

NIce helpful people in old old place - needs some work- internet good- nice kitchen but simple, some issues with shower valve and door knob. Price was excelent!!!!

Awesome hotel in Helper, Utah
The hotel was very nice. The manager was very accommodating and helpful with us even tho’ we came in late. The room was freshly remodeled and was very comfortable. The showers were fabulous. Will definitely stay there whenever we pass through Helper, Utah.

It is an older hotel that is being updated. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the clerk that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. A bit shabby, but you can tell they are working hard to make it nicer.

Home of Balancing Rock
This is an older motel in the process of updating. Our room was cozy, but not cramped. Very clean, great shower, good TV & WIFI. Good location. Helpful & kind staff. Within easy exploring distance of historic Helper, Utah. Would stay here again.
