I called to tell them my son was checking in early in the morning, as he was driving from ND. At 4am they greeted him at the door and had his key right ready for him. Excellent service!

My first night the room above me was extremely loud for hours. The road noise was loud and twice sirens from police and ambulance drove through the busy intersection the property is located on. I may have had an unusual experience but my stay was not good. I tried calling guest services 3 separate times about the room above me and each call went unanswered because the room phone didn't connect to the front desk. There was a busy signal. In the morning the breakfast attendant rudely asked my group if we were staying another night, which felt unwelcoming. When I bought a snack at the front desk I asked the person working where the nearest coffee shop was and they just said they don't drink coffee. I was surprised at the general lack of hospitality for my stay.

While everyone was nice at the property, there were several points of failure with systems in place, communications, and employee empowerment. We arrived at 5pm and were checked into a VD room. The desk told us multiple times they were sold out, but for some reason wouldn’t check us into a different VC room, but instead asked us to wait while the room was cleaned. That took almost 2 hours, which is 4 times more than it should for a QNQN room. We were offered only snacks and to be in the room while she cleaned it. They then seemed to lose track of time and wouldn’t communicate with her due to a language barrier, and so we had to ask twice strong 7pm, if we could get in. We were assured management would know and reach out to us on Monday. That never happened. I do expect the hotel to make up for it with an IHG gift card, because this was a ridiculous situation. I worked in hotels for 8 years and there’s multiple different ways this could have been handled.

Did not meet my expectations
We were greeted at the front desk by very courteous and friendly employees. No problem getting our room, no problem get it to the room. Our room however, was a bit rundown. I also found hair in the shower and hair on the floor in the bathroom.

Great stay.
Everything was great. The paint in the pool area was coming off the wall just needs a new paint job in there maybe like a teal or some type of waterproof paint so it doesn’t peel so easily when the humidity rises in the room.

During our stay there was a large group of teenage boys who were wrestling, running, and pounding on doors. All adults “supervising” were drinking in the lobby. Was not a pleasant environment for anyone else there.

My apologies for the environment. We had spoken to the team as well as the adults several times. I wish we could say it won't happen again, but it has to do with the adults supervising, and us just trying to ensure they are listing to our quiet times.

The place is very clean and nice. The room and bathroom was big. The bed was the best hotel bed that I’ve slept in! It was quiet and just felt comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to eat the breakfast.

Our first room had the noisiest air conditioner ever. The staff was great about moving us to another room for the second night. Unfortunately the refrigerator in that room made noise all night. The facility seemed to be very clean. The last few times we have stayed at a holiday inn their standards seem to be quite low.
