"This is a real review from a small family of 3 - I am always skeptical of reviews but this one is for real. I have just checked out of a 6 day stay in a relatively quiet but warm time in mid May. Here are my thoughts on the Lopesan Costa Bávaro: Personelle is super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff always got a child seat for our child and made sure she was greeted and entertained when passing by. Not speaking Spanish was sometimes a challenge to communicate special requests but the staff always tried to understand and satisfy our needs. Many even anticipated the needs for our child - giving us an entire carton of milk for bed time, and rushing cleaning service of a sleep sack so that our child could use it again on the same night. The facilities are beautiful and new. The public spaces of the resort are clean, scenic, and lush with beautiful plants. The beach was clean and easily accessible with a stroller. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The resort is kid friendly with a great small waterpark and splashpad, easy stroller access everywhere, and even a smaller water park appropriate for toddlers. Only two minor complaints are that some of the public bathrooms near the beach seemed a bit neglected and dirty. More problematic, possibly just our type of room, but with a regular sea view room, we could hardly see the sea from our 3rd floor balcony and the toilet and shower have only a divider requiring us to be very quiet with a sleeping kid. "

"Allles in allem ein solides all incl. Hotel. Zimmer ok, einmal tropfte Wasser von oben herab ins Bad. Dies wurde aber rasch behoben. Essen recht vielfältig. Mittagessen im Strandrestaurant ist schön und gut, Abendessen dort nichts spezielles. Toll ist, dass es immer genügend Liegen am Strand unter den Palmen hat und die Liegen werden nicht frühmorgens reserviert. Das fanden wir entspannt. Wasser sehr schön. Manchmal etwas laute Musik der Shows, die immer bis 23:00 dauerten und wir im Zimmer recht gut gehört haben. Die amerikanische Trinkgeldmanier ist auch hier sehr präsent. "

"Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und kompetent Das Zimmer hat eine Moderne Ausstattung und einen großen Balkon besonders gut gefiel mir das die minimal jeden Tag mit wunschgetränken gefüllt wurde Alles gesamt ein sehr tolles Resort ich kann es jeden nur empfehlen:)"

"We just had one night booked, but we showed up 2 days later than planned due to some issues with the flights. We reached out to the hotel (when it was already too late to change the reservation) and with the help from Valeria from Marriot Reservations/Front desk and the chat on Hotels.com, we managed to move our reservation by 2 days without the additional cost. This helped a lot, since it was Christmas time and we were already under a lot of stress stuck in Spain. :) When we finally arrived, we could expeirence a super nice, clean, modern hotel, with comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom, great pool area and a very nice bar. There we got to eat really well and got some amazing recommendations for local beers & drinks, which we followed till the end of our entire stay in Puerto Rico."

"- Der Pool war dreckig - hatte sogar Wasserflöhe - Die Animation grauenhaft, kein Alternativprogramm am Abend -Die Musik sehr laut und schlechte Qualität - Das Essen in den A la Carte Restaurant eingeschränkt vorhanden Für ein Stück Fleisch bezahlt man sehr viel Geld und erhält nur schlechte Qualität - Die Anlage wird sehr sauber gehalten - die Zimmer dagegen nur mittelmässig. Laken 10 Tage nicht gewechselt! Dusche stinkt nach Urin. Zimmer sind teils schimmlig. - Alles ist in Dollar angeschrieben, jedoch wird alles umgerechnet in Dom.Peso wenn man mit Karte bezahlt. Wechseln kann man im Hotel aber kein Geld. Bancomat gibt nur Dom.Peso. - Wollen für jede Dienstleistung ein Trinkgeld"
