Immer wieder!
Meine Frau und ich waren 14 Tage dort. Die Urlauber in dem Hotel kommen zu 95% als Familie mit Kindern, da das Hotel über eine schöne, große Kinderpoollandschaft verfügt und täglich (außer Freitags) Kinderanimation angeboten wird. Es sind überwiegend Polnische, Englische oder Skandinavische Familien. Zur Verständigung sollten also Englisch-Grundkenntnisse vorhanden sein. Das All-In Paket war völlig ausreichend. Wein, Alkoholfreie Getränke und 3 verschiedene (täglich wechselnde) Cocktails gab es an der Poolbar zur Selbstbedienung. Es wurde 2x täglich Eis angeboten (zwischen den Essenszeiten). Der Speisesaal war immer ausreichend gefüllt. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich, vielfältig und sehr gut. Die gesamte Anlage war in einem guten Zustand. Das Personal (vom Room-Service über Bedienung, Haustechnik, Rezeption bis hin zum Animationsteam war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir fühlten uns stets als willkommener Gast. Ab 20 Uhr wurde täglich eine wechselnde Abendunterhaltung angeboten (Live-Musik, Varieté, Folklore, Comedy usw.) Unser Zimmer war sauber und klimatisiert mit einem traumhaften Blick über Deine Poollandschaft zum Meer. Der Strand ist ca. 350 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, sauber und grobsandig mit wenig Steinen. Wer sich also nicht an Kindern stört und den damit verbundenen Wassertieren im Pool, kann hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbringen.

Nette Hotelanlage
Die Hotelanlage befindet sich in einer Wohngegend. Rundherum liegen Privathäuser, Apartments und einige Restaurants. In 400 Meter Entfernung liegen Geschäfte, Supermarkt, Tankstellen usw. Hier hält auch der Stadtbus ins Zentrum der schönen Stadt Chania. Die Hotelanlage besteht aus Haupthaus und 20 „Bungalows“, jedes mit 6 bis 8 unterschiedlich großen Zimmern mit Terrasse oder Balkon. Zentrum der Anlage sind die 5 Swimmingpools, davon drei für Kinder gedacht. Um die Swimmingpools stehen ca. 15 bis 20 Schatten spendende Bäume. Während unseres Besuchs lag das Alter der Gäste zwischen 1 und 80 Jahren; ich vermute davon waren ca. 15 Kleinkinder im Kinderwagen. Alle Gäste waren höflich und nett. Zu unserer Überraschung gab es auch kein Lärm von am Pool spielenden Kindern. Das Essen am Buffet war sehr reichhaltig; für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Bier, Wein und lokale Spirituosen gab es im Restaurant und an der Poolbar. Von der Hotelanlage gibt es einen 600 m langen Weg zum Strand. Dieser Strand ist der beste der drei Strände des Ortes. Uns hat der Urlaub im Hotel Sirios sehr gut gefallen. Wir planen wiederzukommen.

Trotz kleiner Abstriche gutes Familienhotel
Wir hatten für 4 Tage ein Superior Room mit Pool View (or Garden view) für 2 Erw./ 1 Kind (4 J) gebucht und dabei eine "Hotel.com reward"-Bonusnacht eingelöst. Zugewiesen wurde uns aber ein zwar renoviertes, aber kleineres Zimmer mit einem schmalen Doppelbett im 1.Stock mit Ausblick auf den Privatpool der darunter liegenden Wohneinheit... Erst nach Beschwerde erhielten wir - dann aber umgehend - ein größeres Zimmer in der angekündigten Kategorie mit zusätzlichem Kinderbett. Ansonsten war der Hotelservice abgesehen von der Kinderanimation sehr gut. Letztere erfolgte ausschließlich in slawischer Sprache, da das Hotel überwiegend mit Familien entsprechender Herkunft belegt war. Zudem machte der Animateur bei der Kinderdisco am Abend einen wenig engagierten Eindruck. Musik vom Recorder ohne zusätzliche individuelle Animation einzelner Kinder etc. Als unser Sohn ihn eines Morgens beim Frühstück sah und freudig begrüßte, wurde er komplett ignoriert. Das haben wir in anderen Hotels schon sehr viel besser erlebt. Bei individueller Buchung kann trotz entsprechender Beschreibung eine länderübergreifende englischsprachige Kinderanimation nicht erwartet werden. Das Essensangebot am Buffet war vielfältig und sehr schmackhaft - aus unserer Sicht sehr gut. Die Poollandschaft inklusive der Wasserrutschen ist auf Kinder bis 12 Jahre ausgerichtet. Unser Sohn hat diese sehr genossen und ausgiebig genutzt. Der schöne Stadtstrand ist fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar.

The staff and the food were very good. The walk to the beach was a decent walk down a steep hill. Not a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby. The shop onsite was very reasonable and well stocked with pleasant staff.

Loved every minute
Loved it, spotless, modern hotel, lovely food, fresh with a great choice and wonderful, happy staff. Only one thing to better would be Cava or Prosecco on all inclusive. Location is beautiful, not too far from town and friendly little place to hire bikes very close by at great prices. We will definitely return!

I liked the staff , all were pleasant , Stella and Vaseliki were excellent and a pleasure to deal with. The food is catered to the Europeans , as I am American it wasnt really all that good , when I arrived I was a little disappointed in the room , but I think I was juat aggrevated from a missed flight and arriving at midnight , it was clean Ac unit dripped water 2nd night and quit working , they fixed it . Apparently the Greeks dont care about Ac or ice in the drinks and if you do get ice its a couple of cubes , not just at the resort . Pool and facilities are nice , but crowded in August , do yourself a favor and rent a car and go explore , we went to Santorini on a ferry , beautiful Island , shopping sucks and get ready to walk and everything is expensive. Looking around Sirios is one of the nicer resorts. Cant really complain too much .

Her får man noget for pengene.
1 uges ophold for bedsteforældre og familie med 1 barn gik alt for hurtigt. All incl. var af høj standard både hvad angik spise og drikkevarer. Rengøring var også på toppen, både værelser, restaurant og pool var altid rent og pænt. Virkelig god service fra et altid smilende personale.

Hôtel qui ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles même si elles sont aux normes locales…. La 1 ère chambre attribuée était vétuste et tres mal située malgré 1 prix tres élevé. Il a fallu payer 80€ de plus la nuit pour avoir 1 chambre digne de ce nom . La nourrie st vraiment très mauvaise. Aucun service. Il fait prendre ses verres et couverts soi même et limite débarrasser et faire le ménage…. Le tout inclus est 1 escroquerie puis qu’accès à très peu de choses et qu’il faut payer la quasi total des boissons.

Familjevänligt hotell
Mycket trevligt boende med bra pooler för barnen och trevlig personal. Maten var god. Mycket som inte frestade men tack för ett stort utbud i buffén så fanns det alltid en hel del som föll mig i smaken också. Har personligen lite svårt för katterna som stryker omkring i restaurangen och vid poolen. Men sedan såg jag pensionärer som matade dem så jag gissar att man resonerar olika. Hotellet ligger inte vid stranden men man gick dit på 10 minuter och tar bussen till stan för 1,2euro med bussar som går ganska ofta. Finns flera bil/moped uthyrningar på samma gata.

The room was very clean, but they put a couple with no children in a room right in front of the kiddie pools. This place is very suitable for families more than couples as it was overrun with children during our stay. The all inclusive is pretty selective. If you bring your own cup for drinks they refuse to fill it at the bar. You can only fill it with the mixed drinks in the machines. There are self fill taps for beer and wine in the main dining room which was nice. The bar closes at 11pm, which is a little too early for an all inclusive from my experience. They also would provide bottled water for in the room during the day. They made you go buy it at the mini Market. If you asked after the market closed they will give you a bottle though. I found that pretty ridiculous. The food was pretty good, lots of selection for dinner and the snacks throughout the day are good - they'll make you a gyro and there is pizza and sandwiches. What annoyed us was the billiards and fooseball table cost a euro to play in an all inclusive resort - give me a break! The all inclusive ice cream is only available during certain times too. The beach is gorgeous, but it is a good 10 minute walk off the property and there are no lounge chairs that we could find for the resort. We walked to Iguana Beach a little further away and it was less crowded and beautiful. We luckily were only there for a few nights, I don't think I could do a week at this resort.

On the other side you mention a few drawbacks during your stay. Regarding your room we must mention that our guests have the oportunity to change room according to availability and there is a wide range of rooms across a land of 2,7 hectares for guests to choose from according to their needs. At the pool bar each guest can be served two drinks per time and this is to be able to serve in the best and fastest way our guests wihtout them having to wait in a queue for a long time. Bottled water isn't included in our all-inclusive services, tap filtered water is always available for our guests. Sun beds are available at the beach and if a guest requires information our reception desk staff is always willing to give any guidelines a guest could require for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday experience. Excellent resort with fabulous staff
I should start by thanking Hotels.com for getting me good deal on fabulous resort, which was even better as they gave me £100 back as the price fell after I’d booked. Thought you deserved good review also!! This is an excellent resort with amazing staff. Here's why... This was a recuperation trip for my wife who had a broken foot and I sent them a 'cheeky' long list of requirements thinking I wouldn't even get a response. Sophia, the booking manager, went above and beyond and organised everything for us including transfers and we were treated like royalty from that point onward. Food – I’m fussy eater but there was always something that tasted amazing, I especially loved the slow cooked beef, kept returning to it despite other adventurous dishes available. The cakes were amazing. Its all-inclusive - but really good quality, deserves its high 4 stars. Staff – I’ve been 4/5 star holidays, hotels, cruises all over the world and they are up there in top 5 in my opinion if the staff are friendly and helpful any problem can be solved. Facilities – it’s a small family run resort with good staff and the facilities reflect that – good pools with slides and loads of sunbeds, parasols and even gazebos A big plus is the wifi – excellent I had the most relaxing time and you treated my wife so well you helped her relax also. So thank you all and keep up the friendly service through the long summer. We will be BACK!!!

Hotel all inclusive con tre piscine grandi (di cui una con scivoli per under 12) e una per bambini piccoli. Ristorante molto buono e per tutti i gusti. Camera standard come nuova, spaziosa e pulita come il resto dell'hotel; lo staff sempre cordiale e gentile. Posizione strategica dell'hotel per visitare la vicina Chania (4,5 km) raggiungibile con bus pubblici in 15/20 minuti e, noleggiando un'auto direttamente in aeroporto, si possono visitare oltre ai siti archeologici, anche le più rinomate spiagge di Creta come la laguna di Balos, Elafonissi e Falassarna. Unica pecca in hotel nessuno dello staff parla italiano, se parlate inglese nessun problema. Hotel Sirios comunque consigliatissimo.

We are thinking about moving the hotel by the sea next season but due to some technical problems this might be postponed for the next years... Back to reality,the hotel is quite close to a wonderful sandy beach and the walk down offers very nice views making it worth the visit. The location of our resort offers easy and frequent access to all major destinations, Chania city which is a ten minute drive and the airport which is 30 minutes away.
