We just returned from a lovely week staying here. The hotel had only just opened for the season so a few things were still being readied when we arrived but nothing too major. Our room was an upstairs room with a sea view and what a view! In fact there's nowhere at this hotel that doesn't have a spectacular view. Trust the photos from the hotel's website - the setting is as good as it looks!
On our first morning we went down to breakfast where we were offered eggs in a number of ways. We chose our eggs and then a huge banquet of additional things arrived on our table - fruit, yoghurt, bread, toast, tomato cucumber and feta, preserves, orange juice, croissants, cheese pies - and then our eggs!! Its fair to say we over-ate most days. I'm assuming that as the hotel gets busier it will revert to a buffet style but I have to say this was a treat.
Aspa always went to great lengths to make sure you had everything you wanted and there was usually something different to try each day.
Our room was clean and maintained very well during our stay and the staff were very quiet and unobtrusive.
The pool area is well maintained and due to the quietness of the hotel we had no problems getting beds, however I can see that this might be an issue when the hotel is fully occupied.
The gym was slightly disappointing as some of the equipment seemed past its best.
