Abzocke! Es war CanyonBlick gebucht, aber von Parterre aus sieht man nur die Kante, nicht den Canyon - Achso: und WENN man Kantenblick mag, ist der verstellt mit Touristen, die davor stehen oder wahlweise ins Zimmer gucken.

The room was adequate and the view spectacular. It was a second floor view room. However finding the room after dark upon arrival and lugging my heavy suitcase to it proved problematic. We wish Guest Services had told us the exact entry. Our room was in the middle of the building and you had to use the central entrance which is not marked well from the outside. Parking is difficult as the spaces stay filled the entire time. Best to arrive before dark! But we had hiked part of the South Kaibab trail at sunset which was worth it!

OK average motel room. Obviously, location is it’s best point. View and easy access to some canyon rim trails is good. Windows should be MUCH cleaner for a location that depends upon the view to justify its high rates.

You can't beat the location for this property. It doesn't have its own restaurant or lounge, which would be our only complaint, but it is right next door to two other lodges where you can get food and/or hang out. The view from our "partial view" room was great.

Stuff in restaurant was unfriendly, clearly not expecting to see us again; and the food was terrible where ever we tried!!!

Unbelievable location, feet away from the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the hiking and loved the various dining options . The room were well designed and we managed to get the wifi working for us :)

Outdated hotel with musty odor in rooms. Heating didn’t work and faculty was run down. Fantastic view and location but poor facility at an extremely expensive price . Conditions are like an outdated budget motel. Could hear occupants of room next door clearly. If you don’t have to be next to the canyon I would recommend the grand hotel 10 minutes away. Much less expensive and much better facility. Would not recommend.

Great location, inside the park, great view. Disappointed with staff. During the check-in, the lady was sarcastic several time with my questions about the hotel. She laughed at my face when asking about my luggage from the train, checkout etc… how you can work in such a beautiful place and be i a bad mood.

Terrible Hotel and Experience!
We did not even stay at the property due to the small size room that was extremely dated/old and smelled. It looks like an army barrack/dorm room from 1985. It is criminal that this establishment charges over $400 a night for these basic beds to sleep in. When I brought this to their attention they could care less. It is supply and demand! They know the hotel is basic and could care less to provide any amenities or customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE. Book a room in Tusayan for 1/2 the price and double the size!

It’s right on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Rooms are small but well kept and well maintained It was not crowded during our visit in early December and easy to visit all the stops along the canyon rim without worrying about parking

Great place to stay, right there at the Canyon. Walking distance to food and shops, shuttle bus stop there in the area, train station right across the street. Only complaint was that parking was a little crowded, though. Had an awesome time and can't wait to come back next year!!
