Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Hotel ist zwar alt, aber gut gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns aehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Lage ist einzigartig. Die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen und natürlich kann man hier sehr viel Geld allein für die Lage verlangen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht wirklich da. Trotzdem sehr komfortabel, um direkt nach dem Aufstehen den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen oder abends vorm Schlafengehen die Sterne und die Milchstraße..

Sensationelle Lage direkt am Grand Canyon. Dementsprechend hohes Preisniveau. Die Investition lohnt sich aber, so kann man Sonnenuntergang und -aufgang am Canyon verfolgen. Gepflegte Zimmer, individuell eingerichtet. Eine sehr angenehme Abwechslung im Land der Kettenhotels. Die Halle ist ein wenig dunkel, nicht jeder wird die ausgestopften Tierköpfe mögen. Das zugehörige Restaurant - mit Blick auf den Canyon - ist leider nicht besonders. Ein Picknick am Rande des Canyons dürfte die bessere Alternative sein.

Die Lage direkt am Grand Canyon ist beeindruckend - und praktisch wenn man am nächsten Tag sehr früh aufbrechen will um in ihn hinabzusteigen. Wer sich dafür interessiert, freut sich vermutlich am historischen Charakter des Gebäudes. Da braucht der Betreiber die Standards ansonsten nicht ganz so hochzuhalten - es dauert eine knappe Stunde und viel (sehr freundliches) Personal um unsere europäische Kreditkarte zum Laufen zu bekommen und das kleine Zimmer, das wir bekommen, riecht ein bisschen nach einem undefinierbaren organisxhen Unfall unserer Vorgänger. Und am Ende des Tages rebelliert im Nachbarzimmer ein Hund dagegen, dass Herrchen alleine speist und ihn zurücklässt.

Able to walk right out to the Grand Canyon. After dark you can see all the stars. Staff was helpful with everything. Room was small but over 100 years of history to experience.

The property is continently located in the Grand Canyon village. However these is no dedicated parking, even though parking is close it fills up quickly. This is a shame as they could easily make of dedicated as there is plenty of parking for other visitors who don’t have luggage. The room was great and very comfortable The staff could have been more helpful and available. Upon arrival a man at the desk asked if they could help and we said we’d like to check in but he then said he couldn’t help as was doing something time sensitive. When checking out there was no one at reception and no clear instructions as to whether to wait or leave our key cards on the counter

Best place to stay for a Grand Canyon trip. No need to drive in and wait in line. You just wake up and walk outside. Also fun to go look at the stars over the canyon at night.

Inacceptable
We reserved through EXPEDIA and it seems they do not appreciate us going through intermediators for we were given a room in one corner of the corridor next to the bellboy room. No room service was provided during our stay, and we were left without any clean towels and toiletries. It seems that they did not care for you. They only want the money without providing any Hotel services. Whenever asked to reserve the restaurant, it was not available and was asked to sit in the lounge bar and order snacks instead of accommodating Hotel customers. Loved the decor of the Hotel and its emplacement next to the Grand Canyon. One of the boutique staff was arrogant and it seemed we were disturbing her day. Really felt like no one cares for customer service in this Hotel. For the price we paid, the Hotel with its charm lacked human nature. Would be careful to recommend to anyone. Have travelled all my life, but never seen a Hotel not providing room service to its customers who stayed four nights!

This hotel is right on the rim of the Grand Canyon, so you have spectacular views if you just step out the back door. The dining room was excellent, but we only were able to have breakfast there, because it was all booked up for dinner. We booked the hotel only maybe a month in advance, so the only room available was a "standard room" with a queen bed. The room was quite small. Also, the hotel has apparently subscribed to the post-pandemic idea that daily housekeeping is not necessary. (I was told later that I could've asked for this, but I wasn't told that when we checked in.) We were there for three nights. When I went to the front desk after two nights and asked if there would be any housekeeping, I was informed it was "every three days". We could of course get extra towels, and they were brought promptly, but the result of this kind of housekeeping schedule is dirty glasses and towels around your (small) room. Si my overall impression was - great location, but the room - meh.

Get the glimpse of what it was like in the 1900’s. The Fred Harvey story rings true. Basic amenities, but very upscale and yes, there is WiFi. 10 out of 10. The staff was amazing, the building is living history

I didn’t care for the size of the bed, for two people a double bed, kind of small. Also the room was small, but that was okay. Checking in, they said they’d call when the room was ready, but no one did. The bar had people wait outside and no one came to tell you they had a spot. It was odd.

Great place to stay inside the park, and views of the Grand Canyon were breathtaking. The only negative was dinner in the main restaurant. The service was ok, but the food really wasn't that good for the price. We ordered both of our steaks medium rare but they came out nearly raw. The broccolini was also tough and really undercooked.
