Die Executive-Zimmer sind die einzigen Zimmer ohne Balkon/Terrasse. Sind haben ein grosses Panorama-Fenster, das man nicht öffnen kann und liegen im 8.Stock, wie der Pool und der Frühstücksraum. Daher kurze Wege, aber morgens evtl. laut. Parkplätze vorhanden, die nicht zum Hotel gehören. Zentral gelegen.

Worst hotel that I stayed in the past 10 years
I travel a lot on business and it was my first time to Gibraltar though. My local client this hotel and they will certainly not do such a recommendation after they learned about my experience. The hotel currently undergoes some major renovation. Nothing of this was communicated in advance though or during the booking process. There is heavy construction noise all day and the building is wrapped in scaffolding. The pool cannot be used. But the worst part was my room: This room has certainly not been updated since decades. The desk looked like it has suffered from major usage and water damage. The ceiling had plaster coming off from water damages. The room door could only be opened and locked by slamming my whole body against it. The bathroom had a rusty mirror and dirty spots in the ceiling. The bath towel was with holes. To make matter worse: one day the cleaning lady through away my contact lense cases. It was, fortunately, empty. But no apology from the hotel for it. They made my go myself to get a new case. The complaints were ignored. All the did: the janitor came one day to my room to vacuum off the plaster from the ceiling. He said he would come back next day to put new paint on it. But he never showed up . not even 2 days later. The cleaning lady left the balcony door open twice. Given that there is scaffolding at the house, one could easily use that to access the rooms. The rooms are also not sound proof. I could hear my next door neighbour perfectly.

Gutes Hotel in bester Lage
Die Lage des Hotels in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Main Street ist unschlagbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cafe's und Restaurants sind in Laufentfernung. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte einen kleinen Balkon, wie alle Zimmer. Unbedingt Wasserseite und gleich oder höher 4. Etage buchen. Dem Interieur im Zimmer war die Nutzung anzusehen. Beim Frühstück war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, es war jedoch ohne Abwechslung. Der Kaffee war typisch britisch. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Den Fitnessraum und den Außenpool haben wir nicht genutzt. Merkwürdig war, dass beim Einchecken auf der Kreditkarte für jeden Tag 50 Pfund blockiert wurden (ähnlich Autovermietung) und diese mit dem Verzehr oder Leistungen des Hotels verrechnet wurden. Alles in Allem war dies ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und wer ein typisch britisches Hotel mit den kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten erwartet, wird sicher nicht enttäuscht.

Gutes Hotel im Stadtzentrum
Es gibt nur etwa 5 Hotels in Gibraltar, davon 4 in der Stadt. Dieses ist sicherlich eines der besseren. Es liegt nur 100 m von der Main Street entfernt und ist auch per Linienbus gut zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist insgesamt in gutem bis sehr gutem Zustand. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit einem sehr breiten Doppelbett. Das Badezimmer war ebenso in Ordnung und alles war in funktionablem Zustand. Der Service an der Rezeption war freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war durchschnittlich und mit 15 Pfund doch etwas überteuert. Auf der Main Street gibt es Cafes und Lokale, wo man für den halben Preis gut frühstücken kann. Wer mehr als nur für einen Tagesausflug in Gibraltar ist, kann dieses Hotel guten Gewissens buchen.

For a 4* hotel there was a lack of tea,coffee water in the room ... Not frequently replenished ... I felt awful having to ask at reception for coffee to take to my room .. I ordered room service ( breakfast) not received what was ordered although staff were there straight away to sort it , it arrived to our room cold. The room was clean and comfortable We asked to be moved to another room , the staff were so accommodating. Thank you Having said that, it's twice I have stayed there. It hasn't put me off returning. Thank you for a lovely stay

Overall a really good place to stay. My only minor issue was the lifts. Theres only 2 and there used by not only the guests but staff as well. This means you often have to share the lift with a food trolly or cleaners trolly. No stair option as its for fire escape only as far as im aware, they also seem to take an age as they are in constant heavy use.... but its a minor problem really.

The Elliott is a great hotel to stay in if you want to be central. A two minute walk to Main Street and a ten minute walk to Casemates. Ocean Village is a leisurely 15 min walk. I had an executive room which was huge and at the top of the hotel with wonderful views. The hotel offers room service as well as having a great dining/bar area. It has a Cosmopolitan feel and I would definitely stay here again.

Four day short break hotel Elliot.
Loved every minute of staying at the Elliot. Room was spacious, beds were the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in all my years of holidaying. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, and so friendly. Lovely breakfast if there wasn’t something on the breakfast Buffett you required they would make sure it was there the next day.

Fantastic experience, highly recommend
Unfortunately we only had a quick one night stay, honestly wish it was longer. The hotel is fantastically located to Main Street, The Rock walking tracks and the Gondola. We had a vehicle and parking was incredibly easy, about 20 meters from the front door (in the middle is Gibralter!!) The staff are great, super friendly and very helpful. We upgraded to a suite on the top floor with a massive balcony with amazing views over the harbour and the city. The gym is probably better equiped than most globogyms. Brilliant hotel, highly recommend

Couldn't fault anything. The biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever slept on while abroad for business. The staff were great, helpful and extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much to ask for more

Perfect hotel in an excellent location! I will return when I’m next in Gibraltar. It was clean and stylish and the hotel scent and music really made the ambiance when you walked in the door after a day of exploring! Eliott Hotel - Highly Recommend
The Eliott Hotel is clean, comfortable and the rooms have everything you need. It is in a great location within easy walk of the town center and taxi pick up points. Would highly recommend.

Joseph’s Gibraltar trip
Great place to stay. Close to the main shopping streets and a short walk to the cable car. Staff were very nice, polite and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
