Nettes familiengetriebene Hotel in einem winzigen Fischerdorf unterhalb der Hauptstrasse - Frühstück top, Personal/Familie top, Zimmer klein, aber mit Geschmack und immer sauber (Klima, TV). Kein Resort! kein Schwimmbad, Fitness etc. dafür Dorfleben, manschmal lärm. Erreichbarkeit fanden wir gut : Bus und Auto - aber abseits von Praiano.

sehr persönliche und familiäre Atmosphere, sehr herzliche Gastgeber, gute Lage in einer ruhigen Enklave an der ansonsten etwas überlaufenen Amalfiküste, Strand und mehrere Restaurants quasi vor der Zimmertüre, das Essen im Hotel wird direkt frisch zubereitet und ist und ist ohne Schnickschnack einfach gute italienische Küche. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt, hier ist eine Familie mit Herz und Seele dabei...

Das Hotel ist insofern sehr speziell, dass es sich in einer sehr engen felsigen Bucht befindet. Links und rechts gehen die Felswände 50-60 Meter in die Höhe. Es gibt einen kleine Strand mit grobem Kiesel. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.

Nettes, kleines, familiär geführtes Hotel
Das Hotel in der kleinen Bucht von Praiano ist sehr sympathisch geführt und ist umgeben von sehr viel Atmosphäre. Nette und sehr gute Restaurants und Bars sind in der Bucht zu finden. Wir fanden es sehr praktisch, dass wir neben dem Hotel direkt unser Boot für den Tagesausflug nach Capri nehmen konnten. Auch der Lärm war trotz Hauptsaison und kleiner Bucht sehr erträglich. Die Eigentümerin war sehr behilflich beim der Organisation der Ausflüge. Kurz: wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

This is such a fabulous property. Run by three generations of women. This year they also had a male employee. Breakfasts were fantastic, every question you might have was well answered and the ladies and Luciano were great. You quickly became like family here. The property is right on the beach allowing a wonderful dip after a day of sightseeing that usually included quite a physical workout (although that is strictly up to you). This is one of the best places for friendliness I have ever stayed. My wife and I loved it!

Would definitely stay here again
The hotel and the area was very beautiful. We used it to go over to Positano. And I was way too too crowded. Wish we just stayed at the cute little beach there where the hotel is. The breakfast was also amazing.

If you drive, there's parking across the hotel. Straight on the Marina with a small beach, have access to a few restaurant on the beach, Pirata (make reservation) we ate at the Francheno, its was expensive and delish but everything is expensive on the Almafi coast The owner was welcoming and breakfast was delish. The rooms are roomy and we had a nice view. Great stay

Hotel la conchiglia was a nice spot in Praiano. The service was great and the staff friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, and staff made the bed everyday. Complimentary breakfast was a great addition. There are restaurants in praiano walkable from the hotel. Our only complaints are to do with the transportation. The water taxi is 80 euros round trip to get to and from amalfi (and probably Positano, too, we just didn’t go there). A car taxi was 80 euros one way. There is an option for the bus, at the top of the hill, that runs about every hour and is very very crowded. Accessibility to other towns and the train station relied on the above, which made the experience a little less enjoyable. Overall, the hotel was a nice stay!

The property was lovely. So close to bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff were warm and friendly. They were helpful and the service was prompt. The room was pretty (old fashioned and typically Italian). It was very clean with daily changes of towels. They even provide a bag with two beach towels. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful location just steps from gorgeous beach. Fun kayaking/paddleboarding rental. Delicious restaurants. Just downhill from bus stop. Helpful and flexible staff with great advice for sightseeing. Delicious, fresh breakfast to-order with gorgeous views. We liked it so much we cancelled our islands trip and stayed 4 days to enjoy. Much less crowded/expensive than Positano/Amalfi. Walking distance to town center and Fiordo di Furore. Can walk from here up to Path-of-the Gods hike. From Sorrento, I booked an Amalfi Coast Day trip and asked the driver to drop me here at the end instead of returning to Sorrrento. Then we took the Sita Bus back. Warning that during high season the buses may be full and not pick up new passengers.

Unfortunately worst hotel I had in my life
was very bad hotel. the hotel don't have parking place for gusts and they made me pay 35 Euro for one day parking. I think they have agreement with the parking guy. the room very old and not maintained good. this is very expensive compared to what you get. stay another place better.

Excellent spot on the Amalfi Coast. Not overly crowded like Positano and Amalfi. There are restaurants, kayaking, a beach, and water taxis available. The bust stop is a steep walkabout 1.5 blocks away. The family who run the hotel are kind and accommodating. Definitely will stay with them again.

The hotel has just been renovated and is in such an amazing location! The mother, daughter & team are the most wonderful hosts, they cooked a beautiful breakfast every morning and we’re so happy to see everyone enjoying it. This is hands down the best place to stay on the Amalfi Coast, the value for money is second to none. I will definitely be coming back!

Excelente hotel, localização e café da manhã
Escolhemos o La Conchiglia pela sua localização estratégica “no meio” da Costa Amalfitana. Muito bom para se deslocar para o leste (Amalfi, Atrani, Maiori, Minori, Ravello, Salerno…) e para o oeste (Praiano, Positano, Sorrento, Capri…). O hotel é simples porém confortável e aconchegante. Fica localizado embaixo de um desfiladeiro muito bonito, com uma bela praia. O quarto é confortável com uma boa cama, ar condicionado, tv, frigobar e varanda com vista parcial para o mar. O banheiro é bem bom, excelente ducha com água bem quente. Único porém é o tamanho do box que poderia ser um pouco maior… mas nada que desabone a estadia. O café da manhã está incluso na diária e é servido “a la carte” pelas donas do hotel que são bastante prestativas. Bem completo e de excelente qualidade (omeletes, ovos, bacon, frutas, pães, croissants, queijo, presciuto, nutella, etc…). No local do hotel você tem 4 ou 5 restaurantes para almoço ou jantar. Todos parecem ser bons. Desta praia saem barcos com transfer para todas outras praias, é uma excelente opção para quem não está de carro (eu recomendo fortemente a alugar carro na Costa Amalfitana, mesmo sendo difícil e caro para estacionar nas cidades). Único ponto negativo: O hotel não oferece vaga grátis de estacionamento para os hóspedes o que eu considero uma falha terrível. Isso é um diferencial para os hotéis da Costa Amalfi. Tive que pagar 25 euros por dia, um preço que considero absolutamente ofensivo para um hóspede.

Great family owned hotel on the beach. All food served in restaurant is prepared with third generation recipes. Grandmother is 84 years young and quite an inspiration to her family. Location has been in family for decades and she and her husband started their business in early 1960's if I remember correctly.

Owning family is very kind and helpful. Complimentary breakfasts were amazing! Location was great! The cove has it's own private beach. There are water taxi services and bus options to get to and from Positano and other areas. Great restaurant and bar options near by. Place itself was very cute and clean. Balcony was nice with great views. Highly recommend this spot!

La Conchiglia is the perfect place to stay while on the Amalfi Coast! My room was very clean and spacious. I easily took a water taxi or bus to / from Positano during my stay. The location was right near the beach and close to several restaurants. Martina and her family were absolutely amazing! Excellent service and value for dollar. I highly recommend everyone to book La Conchiglia .
